Monarch murderstomps. Was SY Ion when he fought SBP? Can't remember...but Monarch > SBP > SY, so there's your chain of logic for you.

Monarch wins he is on Superman Prime level and SY is only on Superman's

Sodam Yat never reached his full potential.

In his fight with Superboy-Prime he had never ever been under a yellow sun and didn't understand those powers. He had just became a Green Lantern and was still in training to use his lantern ring. Then he got the Ion power which Kyle Rayner confirmed does not work exactly like a green lantern ring and is more complex in order to use its power in full potential.

The Sodam Yat that appeared in the legion is a alternative reality version and I wouldn't count those feats.

That being said, Monarch should win this because Sodam is so inexperienced. But if Sodam Yat had more experience with his powers it could potentially be a good fight. Too bad we will never know.
