R1: H2H
R2: Both get an ACR and M1911
Who wins?
I was impressed with Brody's ability to learn the ropes real quick. I think Brody takes the first round, slightly. But Soap surely stomps the second round.
Man,Soap was truly a badass in MW1 and MW2,but he died like nothing in MW3 they wasted him.
I think Soap wins both rounds.Jason didn't die only because of luck
Jason didn't die only because of luck
You can't just base everything Jason did on luck. Or he outright beats Soap based on luck.
@monsterstomp: OK at the beginning then, near the end he is very skilled. But I think it won't be enough to take down Soap.
How is anyone supposed to say soap loses? The guy was a total bad@ss and I refuse to believe the events of mw3. Soap for the win in both rounds.
@monsterstomp: jason was very lucky. There was at least 3 or 4 occasions where he could have been killed, literally, in all of those occasions there was absolutely nothing he could do, his fate was in the hands of other people. Luckily those people were complete idiots and don't seem to see the trend that if you try to be smart instead of just killing jason he'll kill you.
Jason Brody IMO. Dude was borderline superhuman the way he learned everything so quickly and took everyone down with basically no help.
Jmarshmallow
@jmarshmallow: Jason was already a pretty good marksman before the start of the game as said by his brother during a flashback. Apart from that, only his knife skills were seen as "learned quickly"
@synchronized_123: Even people who are "good marksmen" shouldn't be able to take down an entire island of pirates.

If you're talking about luck as an innate ability or power, then he would beat Soap both rounds, inevitably. Jason got lucky, but he was also quick to pick up the ropes in the art of stealth and killing. He's a survivor. By end game he was hunting bears and sharks, taking out outposts, stealthing through camps all by his lonesome. He's just as capable and just as dangerous as Soap. Soap isn't dealing with some random city boy, he's dealing with a warrior.
@monsterstomp: I know, I was just saying jason is quite lucky, and I've played the game, I know what Jason's capable of.
@jmarshmallow: Same as how 2 men are able to take down a base filled with elite troopers in a general's private army. Or them escaping a war-zone between 2 armies. If you wanna play that game, so can I.
Edit: If Jason gets his luck, Soap gets some random ally to interfere with the enemy to buy him some time to get a shot. :D Seriously, it's just that broken as Jason's luck.
@synchronized_123: 1 untrained man taking over an entire island starting with basically nothing >> 2 trained men with lots of help and weaponry taking down a base.
And also Jason is way luckier! Soap dies. Jason doesn't.

The fight is epic, but we need to remember that Soap is a trained member of the SAS, not a thing to be taken lightly. If we look at Jason, yeah he gets a hold of the ropes quickly, but against a special forces soldier Soap will win.
@jmarshmallow: I haven't said anything about Soap being luckier. Jason was already skilled in firearms before the beginning of the game, and he had a lot of help from the doctor and his fellow rakyat warriors, so.....
@synchronized_123: Skilled yes. But even a skilled person shouldn't be able to take down an entire island of pirates almost singlehandedly.
Jmarshmallow
@jmarshmallow: Jason needed help to get in touch with Hoyt. If you think he could storm Hoyt's base by his lonesome with no information at all, then this thread would be pretty stupid to begin with.

Granted he needed help to get in touch with him, but as far as manual labor goes he did it mostly by himself. Other people just helped him with information and such.
Jmarshmallow
@jmarshmallow: We can't say he literally took down an island of pirates. He just killed some people that makes those pirates stand.
Like Vaas, Hoyt, Buck, etc. You destroy the pillar and every thing goes down.
@craulothegreat: @synchronized_123: @spartanpureluck: @ultragreenboy: @wolverineistoaa: @thetruebarryallen: @thedailybagel: @colliderz: @elitedinopasta: @capedcrusader16: @monsterstomp: You guys don’t seem to understand Jason than I do because in this match he takes down Soap in both rounds because of his strength, durability, speed, and over all survival instinct while it’s true Soap is a military soldier he isn’t that tough as Jason is and doesn’t stand a chance against his survival instinct skills.
Soap snipes him in the round with gear.
In the H2H fight? Soap full body tackles the shit out of Jason crushing his spine in the process.
@allstarsuperman: Jason still takes both rounds because he’s more skilled and tougher than he looks.
@gamer684: Can you post some H2H and physical feats for Jason? I’ve never played Far Cry. Admittedly Soap doesn’t have a lot for H2H showings, but from a handful of takedowns, and logically cause of his rank, he’s quite skilled.
@allstarsuperman: I’ll try to post them if I can’t I’ll might as well tell you the details of Jason’s fighting and other feats.
