@jacthripper: I never did like Death Battle. Besides being eye-candy, they have some of the most imbalanced and honestly idiotic match ups. Thor VS Raiden, Harry Potter VS Luke Skywalker, Majin Buu VS Kirby, Godzilla VS Gamera, and so on. Don't even get me started on Superman VS Goku, either.
Also, this is going to be a one sided massacre on Gaara's favor. They'll proabably include his Tailed Beast incarnations, so yeah...
@jacthripper: That's... Idiotic in the most fundamental fashion. Why'd they do that (besides the popularity they would garner) instead of creating some genuinely creative battles. Hell, some of the battles on this site are incredibly creative and I'd love it if they would be animated.

Without the tailed beast form, Toph has a chance, especially if given a non sandy battlefield.
She has high end feats of holding up a castle, moving a mountain side, and easing a version of the Great Wall of china with rock. She showed several times making sand into solid earth as well on beaches, rivers, Ect. She also sees really fast, in her vision she is shown to see the world in very slow motion. Not to mention Metal Bending like a weak Magneto would.
So she is not outclass in power, Garra just stomps if the battlefield is a desert, or goes total tail beast mode. Done deal then.

You do remember they put Buu at bullet level durability? The show is garbage. Besides, if Gaara doesn't stomp, then this is going to be the last straw. Deadpool vs Deathstroke was stupid enough. >;/
Death Battle is purely for entertainment. It's all about getting people to watch. Not about reaching "true" outcomes. Just watch and have a laugh, that's why it's there.
@dragonenton: Yeah, I intend to, but you have to be careful, I don't want any sort of race to become involved, as you always want combat to be a part of the match.
@8bitgangsta: When you say she isn't outclassed in power. You show how very little you know about Naruto. She has no feats at all that would even make her a threat to any version of Gaara. Also I'm finding a lot of you Avatar fans(which I am) to be lying in how you represent her feats. She didn't hold up a castle. She merely slowed it's decent and it's a lot less impressive when actually viewing the feat.

Seriously you Avatar guys don't know how to enter a versus topic and plant your feelings for a character aside. Sure she's likeable but a versus topic isn't about who is more likeable. Also you all keep referring to his sand as if it's just regular sand. It's sand infused with his chakra and his mothers will. It's harder than steel and bullet fast. Also he simply thinks about what he wants it to do and it's done. How is this even a debate? Gaara has insanely better control over sand than Toph too. Even if we go with the assumption that neither can control what the other is controlling, Gaara will overwhelm her and take whatever she isn't using. This is the definition of a stomp.
