1. legendary pictures godzilla has no weight data. if we go by past weight datas of godzilla, he's prolly more massively than smaug and deathwing combined with his weight at least 10,000 tons.

2. legendary pictures godzilla is said to be the the tallest godzilla yet, going at 106 meters. if we go with past height data of godzillas and correlate their length data as well, we can assume that this godzilla would at least 215 meters in length. deathwing has been shown to have claws as tall as human. smaug has two sizes in lenght. canon smaug is 20 meter. non canon smaug is at least 130 meters. i'm gonna go with godzilla unless someone can calculate deathwing's length and height with this picture

3. godzilla wins. far stronger breath attack than smaug. dunno deathwing's breath attack but unless it's nearly identical to a nuclear blast, it won't match godzilla.

Dind't Deathwing's emergence alone cracked continents? I mean Godzilla wreacks havoc, but cracking and completely reshaping the structure of continents is an impressive feat.

Size, height and weight wise, Godzilla wins, hands down. In a fight, it all comes down to Godzilla versus Deathwing, sure Smaug is impressive but I am pretty sure he cannot hit with the strength of a nuke, which several failed to kill 2014 Godzilla according to the trailers, now Deathwing, like I said, reshaping continents is above nuke level, so he might have a chance. Besides doesn't he also have magic?

Godzilla bites Smaug's head off, then Deathwing erases the upper half of Godzilla's body with magic.

1. @kyrees: No Godzilla ever in history was 10,000 tons. The smallest was 20,000 tons, and the largest was 60,000. 10,000 tons is a drastic low ball.

@thelocust619: i used the 10k ton limit because there's a discrepancy of 5k tons in between godzilla forms if you correlate their height and weight.

1&2 Godzilla,3 hmm can deathwing tank a naclear breath? i think godzilla can tank his attacks, he survived a metorite and a mini black hole, both should be more damging than deathwing, but well magic could maybe harm him, G has no feats in that point

deathwings arround 120 meters long. Just a guesstimate from the above picture and the average height of a human.

Deathwing can destroy a world with his ability (Cataclysm) he epic stomps Godzilla and Smaug together. Solo stomp. Godzilla is probably bigger but here size doesn't matter. Deathwing has immense magic and is an Earth Warder. He stomps Godzilla.

Deathwing cannot destroy a world. Azeroth has a built in self destruct button in that the entire thing is supported by a giant stone pillar. Deathwing's attempt to destroy the planet was attacking said pillar to cause the world it supported to collapse.

Deathwing's ability to damage the ground he passes over also isn't a good example of his physical power, given his main form of magic is manipulation of rock.

Deathwing has shown no ability to survive a concentrated nuclear beam to his face, nor is he anywhere near as fast as the other flyers Godzilla hits every movie he has to fight a flyer.

Godzilla got beat by King Kong.. how hard is that? Yeah Deathwing all the way hands down.. Too powerful for Godzilla...

-Lmao! First off, no one won.

-Second, King Kong was supposed to be Frankenstein but Toho decided Godzilla would be more profitable.

-Third, Toho Kong is 20x the size of regular King Kong and has lightning powers.

-Fourth, this is Showa, the weakest Godzilla. Its like saying that Batman was beat by the Scooby doo gang so he loses everything.

-And Finally, Godzilla is so ridiculously more powerful than Deathwing (Ghidorah does the same thing when he flies over cities n such....so does Rodan, to a lesser degree)even in his weakest form that there is no match here to even discuss. Deathwing is defeated by far less than a compressed nuke, and Godzilla can literally ignore the damage DW deals (he'll slide around as the ground moves, that's about it....it won't even hurt him)

Woah... Smaug gets obliterated by Deathwing but Godzilla is just a whole other level. This is a terrible match.

That's impossible lol, I don't remember Tolkien saying anything about Smaug's size. There are some animals today bigger than book Smaug.

Thats why when Thrall had a vision of what would happen to the world if the cataclysm took place it was the whole world by covered in a swarm of huge flames. e.g. with ragnorous and he sees orgrimmar going into flames. Also deathwing survived a hit from the dragon soul which is very powerful weapon. In my opinion the beam pointed has much more damage saturated within then a nuclear blast which was reduced because of his thick amour yet he survived the first attack.

Setting fire to the world isn't the same thing as destroying the entire planet. King Gidorah was able to destroy all life on Mars and leave it a barren, desolate wasteland. Godzilla has battled and defeated King Gidorah multiple times through his history, so the ability to life wipe isn't anything Godzilla hasn't dealt with before.

The Dragon Soul has never displayed the same level of power as a nuclear blast.

How are they going to hurt Deathwing? that guy bathed in magma like anyday.

3. Deathwing

Really don't know much about Godzilla besides what I saw from the recent movie and that's the version being used here. That version of Godzilla has no chance against Deathwing and this is very far from a spite. It was said that Deathwing can only be defeated with the Dragon Soul which Godzilla definitely does not possess and that didn't even really put him down after being altered until all the Aspects put all their power into it. Not only that, Deathwing is a being very old and wise with great magical power and elementium armor that can absorb and channel elemental forces. His arrival back in the world instantly caused the world to shake with earthquakes and volcanic eruptions. Godzilla has nothing on him.

deathwing is the most powerful by far, he is a world-ending threat and the dragon aspect of the earth which makes him a concept and immortal, and his onscreen feats are also far more larger in scale of destruction, the second strongest here is smaug, cause of his fiery power, speed and intelligence, the last one is godzilla, he would not even be able to tag them let alone land any attack, the only thing he has is being too tanky but not enough for deathwing
