Everyone can do anything in the dream world, Freddy Krueger just has control meanwhile the victims are scared and disoriented.

Humans have gotten control so Slender Man can too. Also Slender Man has many other powers too, he might be 4th dimensional.

Slender Man's knowledge of dreaming is what exactly? Humans can dream, how do you know Slender has any experience in the Dream World?

He can if the battle stipulation says he's there, but that doesn't mean he has any experience there. And besides, people aren't known for beating Freddy on his home turf anyway.

The Dream World isn't really his home turf anyways, he is just using the Dream World to gain power in order to leave it and return to the real world. I'd honestly put a full powered Freddy equal to Slender.

Don't compare the two situations, Slender isn't omnipotent and the ruler of the multiverse, and neither is Freddy. Freddy is in control in the Dream World, and Slender has no experience there, therefore he loses that round.
Yea but he has been beaten... alot and by teenagers and Jason.@ComocYahweh said:

Usually takes prep and Freddy kills people along the way, but a person who is completely featless in any dimension of sleep should be no problem for Freddy. Btw, Freddy was beating Jason in the dream world.
@HBKTimHBK: I don`t think Freddy really beat Jason but instead got the upper hand due to an exploitation of a fear in which in Jason`s case was water or the fear of drowning in water as many say the actual idea is quite strange due to Jason showing no fear of swimming in water during the events of his movies. Freddy usually toys with his victims and I`m pretty sure Slender Man wouldn`t fear Freddy, and being a 5th dimensional being could help but Freddy should win.
Read Slenderman's wiki this guy is no pushover he's very formidable although Freddy has the advantage in the dream world he can't kill Slenderman because he's immortal.
for those who think freddy wins I just wanna say you guys obviously have no idea what slender man is capable of
@nerdchore: no he didnt marble hornets heard of him from a creepy pasta so he started that series. pretty good one to i have to admit
If I had anything to say, SM wins both.
Compare who has beaten them and their abilities.
Slenderman is an unknown being who is poasibly fourth dimensional. He could or could not be immortal and the fact no one has beaten him.
FK in his own world was beaten by teens (GIRLS IN ALL HIS MOVIES) and was almost beaten by Jason (technically he won after he got over his fear of water and sliced Freddie's head off). I think Freddy was killed or defeated 1-2 times out of his own world. :/
We don't know of Slenderman even has a brain and if he does, how do we know of he even sleeps? The rules didn't say Slenderman's powers were banned... Slenderman has an omnipotent teleportation power, he is great at pyromancy, he can create possibly unlimited, overpowered tentacles, and he rips flesh apart and opens them easily with his bare hands...
Note Freddy is technically still human and his flesh can be pierced easily. Even if FK can teleport, so can Slenderman. Technically, Krueger's only hope of winning is his claw and if Slenderman can die.
If not, Slenderman wins and has a new proxy.
@hirev_starman: Slenderman can cause mass hysteria, hypnosis, and has appeared in many peoples dreams before. He has experience in the dream world and can even teleport people into another one so you know... He stomps both rounds, sorry. He can also become intangible and was hit by a car that crushed like a soda can against him while he was unphased after like some type of carrie white crap. Hes also a 5th dimensional being and he GAINS power when people are scared of him, and even if they're not hes still powerful enough to kill them so. This whole thread is cool and all but slenderman stomps in either worlds, he practically IS a nightmare and is abstract.
@joshuaw14984941: Jeff the killer almost killed slenderman and he's just a deformed human
Composite slenderman I assume? Because one version of him was beaten by Jeff, so if it's that version then Freddy stomps both rounds. If it's a composite slenderman than in the dream world I'd call it a tie just because slenderman is pretty much unkillable although Freddy is the superior force. In the real world obviously slenderman
I think Slendy would take both...even in the dream world, where Freddy is practically OP, he's still killable. Slenderman is a immortal, multidimensional, non-fearing, non-thinking, almost omnipresent figure of forever-looming madness. There's a reason he's compared to Lovecraftian beings...I don't think Freddy would ever get rid of Slenderman. He'll just loom around him, forever, until Freddy broke and fell into insanity, like everyone else...
@joshuaw14984941: Jeff the killer almost killed slenderman and he's just a deformed human
LOL, when has he lost to Jeff? ...that's the weird thing about Creepypastas, everyone is technically the writer. It's hard to decipher what's canon and what's not...LOL
d^_^b
@superstay: Freddy can't die in the dreamworld. He can't, he never has before, and even when he dies in the real world he comes back in the dream world. That's why I said it's a tie in the dream world, at full power neither can kill each other. And slenderman comparable to Lovecraftian beings? LOL that's the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard. He's done nothing to prove that, the most he does is stalk and kidnap lost people in the woods. I'm being generous by saying it's a tie
True, 'die' was the wrong word...I really meant lose. The one thing about the Slenderman's mythos is the fact that, being of Creepypasta origins, they are natural wide ranging and all over the place. Essentially, he has no actual canon...everything about him on the internet is his lore and mythos (which makes a lot of material). He has been portrayed in numerous different ways and power statues, from the lowest woodland stalker to dang-near omnipotent. But, the only major running theme in his mythos is that he doesn't lose. He doesn't stop, he always finds and defeats his victims. He's always been portrayed (or acknowledged) as a forever looming entity that no one gets away from. Which, is where the comparison to Lovecraft comes from.....I'm sure Slender Man isn't as powerful as Cthulu, Azathoth, Nyarlathotep, the Elder gods, ect...
But, moreso in essence, it is generally agreed in all facets of Slendy lore that he exist outside of time and space, and is a multidimensional being. At the highest of his ability (the Creepypasta), he's a figure that will track and follow his victims anywhere and everywhere they would/could run...not really being alive and never being able to die, he forever lingers around his prey. And, that's Lovecraftian...we never know who Slenderman is, or what he is...just that he lies everywhere and he will drive you mad. The unknown boogeyman of the internet that just comes for you. A being that isn't alive nor dead, not even conscious, he just is...
Which is why I said he'd win both times. While, I know Freddy is immortal as well, and will always be around it some form or another, he has been shown to have lost and been killed by people, before (even if he just rises again). However, in all cases, Slenderman gets his victims and has never been killed. IMO, Slendy would win more times then not...
d^L^b
@superstay: In the dreamworld Freddy can't die, or even lose for that matter if he's at full power. Slenderman has lost, he was once killed by getting his head blown off with a shot gun. Freddy created a planet in the dream world, slenderman has never done anything of the sort. The most "reality warping" he's ever done was make the weather stormy. And when has slenderman ever once gone up against someone with Freddy's Power? He's been beaten by humans in stories, and before you say so has Freddy, it's because people have found they need to pull him back to the real world. If we want to get downright technical, then aside from the stories the original creator of slenderman made on the something awful forums, nothing slenderman has ever done is canon. He's not a copyrighted character, so really unless it's been approved by the author, almost every story slenderman has been in might as well of been a fan fiction.
Yeah, the Original mythos (the photos, and stories from the SomethingAwful forum) as compared to the Contemporary mythos (everything else). In a 2011 web interview, Victor did actually talk about the popularity of Slenderman, and say that he liked how everyone added a bit onto the lore. While shocked that it grew beyond the SA forum, he was accepting of what Slenderman's 'urban legend' placing on the internet...that's the best I could go in canon. Also, funny enough, he said the Slenderman was influenced by Lovecraft and Stephen King. So, that explains why he comes off Lovecraftian...
But, as far as the shotgun to the face, Slendy does regenerate and regrow limbs.....I can't say he's ever created a planet of his own. Though, that is Sleady's biggest weakness/disadvantage. He doesn't really use his powers...I couldn't even say he thinks consciously enough to do so. He mostly just stalks his prey to whatever length he has to, until he drives them mad. While some portrayals show it as being intelligent, Slenderman is most very shows much intent for anything other than taking its victims...at the very least of his ability, he would just keep following Freddy. Not stopping, not dying, not leaving...just following him until madness overtook him.
Even in the original mythos, Slendy had the ability to drive anyone mad upon them seeing him, and could manipulate anyone upon sight. As well, Victor stated that he was inter-dimensional and beyond our understanding. A being that is only know because he allows us to know, he could dictate who knows of him and who doesn't.....so, by his mythos, Slenderman could make himself unknown to Freddy...Essentially, Slenderman would lie beyond the reality that Freddy's Dream World is in...
Though, I know little about comic FK (I hear he has some real top-notch abilities). I mostly just know the films and mainstream appearances...
d^_^b
@superstay: Okay Slenderman isn't driving Freddy insane and he's not killing him. Freddy is already insane, and he gets his powers directly from hell. Which is pretty much another dimension. Slenderman was killed in the story by a shot gun. He didn't regenerate, he didn't come back, he was dead. Statements from the author on what a character can do hardly ever mean anything. So him saying "anyone goes insane when they see him" is nice and all but the most slenderman has ever driven insane were humans. Trying to fight Freddy in the dream world would be like trying to fight a reflection. Any damage Freddy receives is undone instantly. So slenderman would get pretty bored trying fight Freddy since there's nothing he could do to him and vice versa(again assuming this is composite slenderman)
Is the Dream World in hell? It's always appeared to be within the nightmares of his victims. Infact, most times I've seen Freddy, he doesn't even have the dream world, if someone doesn't fear/remember him. He mostly lies dormant until he could find a way to cause someone in the real world to think about him. And, he even loses power, the less attention he has (again, I'm mostly going off of the movies and common knowledge of the Elm Street franchise, since that's all I know.....I'd love to be informed otherwise). As well, he has also lost his abilities because of him falling out of favor with the demon who gave him said power.....It's seems as he has always been in our realm of reality, unless truly forgotten (which is the closest to death he could get, I suppose), then he'd probably be somewhere in the abyss of hell. But, whether in the physical or in the subconscious of our fearful minds, Freddy seems to be a being of our reality.
I can't say anything about Slendy being shot in the head. That fairly goes against every other agreed canon depiction of the character, who spawns back and shrugs off attacks (especially physical one). And, I wouldn't say Freddy isn't capable of being driven insane. Freddy may be a powerful demon/spirit. But, he does still have a very human conscious, grasp of reality, and has been shown to fear and grow angry. I'm not aware of anything that would lead me to believe that he couldn't be taken to the point of madness. He's a psychopathic serial killer, but not hysterically psychotic like the victims of Slenderman.
As canon to Slenderman's lore, he would not attack Freddy outright. Instead, he'd just toy with his mind, linger everso faintly in the demon's psyche. Stalking him, and making him more and more angry and rageful in the fact that Slendy doesn't fear, doesn't feel pain, doesn't leave, and doesn't do anything outside of just letting Freddy know he's there watching and lure over him. Until the killer mentally fell prey to a rageful hysteria or paranoia. Even if it was anger filled, Slenderman would lead to the demon's psychological breakdown. Even if his passive act of stalking would only annoy Freddy, it would continue for however long it needed it. He would beat at Freddy, just make him manically hysterical in the fact that he can get rid of Slendy. And, once the killer fell to a rage-infused distress, Slenderman would abduct him like he does everyone.
d^_^b
@superstay: He gets his powers from hell, the dream world isn't in hell. But the dream world is an alternate dimension that doesn't really even exist. Freddy is the master of fear and mind games so he's in no way falling to something like slenderman who's lost to people in the real world when he has his powers. And as he said in Freddy vs Jason, the way he found Jason was by searching through hell, which means yes Freddy can go to hell if he chooses. And how the hell does Slenderman plan to abduct a dream demon that resides in the mind?
