Orc. I remember them being a bigger pain in the ass to deal with.

Could go either way to be honest. Depends on the Nord and Orc. Orcs are however stronger physically, and both are good warriors.

Lore or Gameplay? An gameplay Orc warrior would eat any other warrior in a 1vs1 battle. The Orc has Beserker Rage witch enables him to do double the damage and take half damage for 60 seconds. Imagine both warriors having the same armor and weapons and stats and can only use there natural abilities, they would be even right? that is before the Orc decides to double his damage output and damage resistents. Lore wise i could't really tell.

@nibbit: Well the Nord could use his Nord shout and scare the Orc away for awhile, and then it would be back to square one.

as already said, orc special can be countered by nords making them flee..

The Nord Battle Cry lasts only for 30 seconds while the Beserker Rage lasts for 60 seconds so the Orc has 30 seconds left to pound the Nord.

Tough, but i'd side with the Orc for sheer aggressiveness.

Depends on the Orc and the Nord. If we are talking the best vs the best, I would say that the Strongest Nord to have lived (Ysgamor) would defeat the strongest Orc to live (Trinimac). With elites, I would say Nords as well. Nothing can truly stand against a viking. The average soldier though would go to the Orcs hands down.

The Nords will handle those milk drinkers.

Nord battle cry will only work if the Orc has low willpower (See low level) whereas an Orc Berserker will pummel a Nord regardless

Orcs are the superior warrior in every way. Yes, that includes coolness.

The Orc should take round one, but I'd give round two to the Nord.

People sayong Orc clearly know nothing of TES lore. Nord wins both.

especially with the gear Nords use steel Orcs use their metal they have better armor then any outer race in Tamrile

Beserker rage gives them a huge edege as well

highest VS highest Nord takes this they have a god as the highest Nord or if higest mortal they have nords that can use the thum GG orcs

Viking wins.

Nords are generally more skilled in combat then orcs. The orcs however have the power or beserking, but this is easily counterd by the nord battlecry. Yes the berserk lasts 60 seconds, but as stated above the orc runs for thirty seconds then comes back for thirty seconds leaving us back at square one. Plus with nords having a greater connection with the voice would only serve to make them more powerful. All in all, with the nords better skill with tje voice, better combat skilsls, and to make the breserker power obsolete, i'd say the nord wins.

This is ridiculous. This is like saying "two humans fight, who wins?". We can't generalize entire races into an individual. Which nord and which orc specifically are fighting? Pick two individuals.

Lore wise, aren't redguards better warriors than Nords?

Generally speaking, they have better warriors than Nords and Orcs, but the differences between individuals matter a lot more than it does between the races.

I just realized.. what happens when you combine a Nord with a Wood Elf..? An Orc. Lol..

The 2 most badass races in the game IMO. They have very similar courage in the battlefield. They're known for their expert skill with blunt weaponry, born tacticians. Gotta say orcs have the upper hand in the armor department, but then again it all depends on who forged it and what enchantments it has. But for the most part orcish armor >> Steel Armor. Berserker rage is a good way to get an upper hand right at the beginning of a match or when you are close to death. The Nord Call buys you time as well to do some damge or regain composure, replenish your health, set a trap, or even flee yourself (which usially isnt an option for a nord but hey sometimes you need to lige to fight another day) Also Orcs usually have the upper hand in magic, aren't nords weakened by magic? Or is that Dark Elves? Can't seem to remember. Its really just tough to call though. There are orcs that outclass nords; and nords that outclass orcs. Maybe next time the OP should be more specific.

So many variables here to make a fair comment imo.

Had it been Agronak gro-Malog the Gray Prince v Vilkas (non were-wolf form) both with similar gear then a debate could be had imo.
