Neither have I. I'm going to side with Allan for the time being.

These two are kind of contradictory. If Alan has no morals and is going all out, that means he has nothing held back to keep the Starheart in check. Just saying!

Since Sinestro is pretty much Always without morals. When Alan aided Hall back in the SA in issue 50 or 51 (ish) if the SA run, Alan was easily able to overcome most of Sinestro's gambits (when he had morals on) and this was when Sinestro (best as I can recall) had stolen the GL Corps main power battery from OA. Alan easily focused his will through Hals to allow Hal to overcome Sinestro's parralysis, and turned his yellow ring beam black so Hal could win the day. With 4 more decades of experience and several power upgrades (even without a Starheaart possessed Alan) I's say Alan takes this.

Also from memory Abin Sur borrowed Alan's power ring from an unconscious Alan to get his ring back from an enemy who also had a yellow ring in the first run of Green Lantern Corps.

Im just saying he can go with no morals without using the starheart, I mean like when Spidey was bitchslapping kingpin with less effort

I don't know enough about Alan...but I was always under the impression that he wasn't that powerful and was more of a back up.

Your impression was wrong. Alan is actually quite powerful.

In context of the Green Lantern Corps he is not backup or a front liner because he is not in fact a member.
