I don't see why Silver Surfer couldn't defeat the Midgard Serpent, what he lacks physically he makes up for in energy manipulation. Which is planetary.
@ultragreenboy: Thor just beats him all the time. Surfer probably has the power to beat Thor, he just never uses it all and he loses everytime. Thor is just meant to be more pwoerful than Surfer, i think thats why they alwasy have him win, when Surfer should have the powers to beat him.

Does Jormungand have long range attacks? Anyways, Thor has been able to defeat him, so I think Silver Surfer can, too. If Jormungand bites him, he's too tough to be crushed with 1 bite, and he can break free by using energy blasts or turning intangible. He can blast the monster repeatedly, and considering his energy blasts can destroy planets, Jormungand won't be one-shotted, but I don't think he will last forever if Silver Surfer keeps spamming his best energy blasts. Also, Silver Surfer will be a very elusive target if he wants to, between his smaller size, high speed and intangibility. He can also use his gravity manipulation to cause further trouble for Jormungand. Keep in mind that Silver Surfer is bloodlusted here. In the end, I think Silver Surfer wins here, but it won't be easy.
Lol at surfer stomping not happening. If surfer gets bit he's dead serpents bite can kill Odin or Thor. Highly venomous even if surfer survived it it would slow and make Norrin dizzy he would have to run to survive. If Norrin doesn't get bit and he uses long ranged attacks he may survive but Don't see him winning here serpent can't be killed already is dead his home is with Hela
