Yes they do, since MMH is parish with Supes and Supes has thrown high mass objects (neutron stars etc) around like tennis balls. Also how big is this black hole you're imagining because size does matter.

1. So, SS still absorbs him. SS has shown no signs of being vulnerable to extreme temperatures. As you can see, SS can absorb and reflect a near-infinite amount of it. (first scan)

Plus SS can absorb his attack and fire it right back at him.

2. Yeah so, Goddess with the Cosmic Egg fought Xavier, Thanos and Adam Warlock at the same time. Even then SS only needs to hold him off for a short time.

3. Superman has not thrown neutron stars post crisis. I've already shown that MMH is unable to deal with Black holes.

Not only that, but SS puts them in his eyes without effort.

4. Matter Manipulation is still an option as well.

Martian did very little against either of the 2 though.

He was only able to scan for Superman's location and sever Megaddon connection to Superman and later Kyle, nearly going insane in the process. You don’t need to be as powerful as Megaddeon to be able to do so, it's not like the exact thing hasn’t been done against Martian Manhunter even by far weaker telepaths.

Same with Vishnu, he was already asleep all Martian Manhunter did against Vishnu was kept him asleep. It's also not like Vishnu has shown any sort of telepathic resistance feat of note.

He has other telepathic feats though; those two aren’t as impressive as I have seen many people make it out to be.

Like what? I only keep seeing these same three feats overhyped iteratively.

Being able to withstand the telepathic onslaught of 9 white martians who apparently had their power amped to a point they were controlling galaxy filled with people.

At least that is what i have heard being mentioned in forums.

Fernus probably just TP's him. Surfer does have TP resistance but I don't think it's on the level of Fernus.

This being turned whole planets into psychic energy and added them to his psionic universe full of planets and stars he has already absorbed. Norrin was able to hang with this entity and even accidentally put it in a coma as he destroyed one of the planets on that dimension.

Even if TP doesn't work, Fernus should be able to physically overpower Surfer.

@ultraphoenix: Wrong. Surfer physically stomps the fodder. Surfer beat up Skaar who was amped by energies that would have sated Galactus for 100,000 years.

@sirdragonfly: Surfer got overpowered by Thing and Fernus restrained the whole League.

Isn't Fernus MMH's much more powerful, evil incarnation that comes out? A bit like Sentry and the Void?

I'd normally take Silver Surfer over standard MMH any day...

but if Fernus's power level is implied to be anywhere close to the Void, maybe Fernus wins this...

This is usually the version that people sort of assume about Fernus: it's fine, especially because he's not a well known incarnation in the first place: but completely inaccurate. It's the Burning Martian DNA embedded inside himself that was brought out when tweaks were done to his immunity to fire: that's a psychological block designed by the Guardians of the Universe to stop Martians from embracing their past. It's not a "morals off" incarnation that just happens when he loses control, it's a whole different creature.

Fernus is just Manhunter, but he doesn't fight like a dumbass and has no restrictions for his usual powers like TP. Is he Void tier? Depends how you see Void. If you consider soloing nearly all of the JLA a few times as that, sure. RT for more info.

@ultraphoenix: yh, surfer is probably physical weaker than fernus. But his raw power+hax+speed+tp more than makeup for the physical difference.
