Same as most of the villians, not using his most potent powers, playing around etc. AK has at times shown the ability to outright warp reality, take away peoples powers using his tech, however when it comes to a straight fight, he never using his most potent abilities and mostly focused on trying to steal.

Why does Abra win? I don't see how he resists getting his gear transmuted.

Abra Kadabra, primarily a Flash Villain, is a reality warper. Surfer fans will never give in to this loss.

Didn't Surfer push out the telepathy of Moondragon with the mind gem, and moondragon even without the mind gem was a planetary telepath who team busted?

The only kind of energy blasts Moondragon have are telepathic. What else could they be?

I've read a few comics with Moondragon in them. I've never seen her use telekinesis.

And he still escaped Goddess control when she had the cosmic egg, which was made of 30 cosmic cubes.

@highaccuser: Funny how Moondragon wasn't allowed full access to the Mind gem due to Adam Warlock's restrictions. IIRC telekinesis was one the 1st things Moondragon commented on was boosted from the gem.And no telepathic attacks leave you in smoke like that.

Otherwise why bother with the directed blast of energy, and not skip to him sporadically grasping his head, like they mostly do when telepaths try to possess someone?

That'd be like saying someone tried to use an "energy-based attack, therefor they were trying to affect/posess/take control of them on an energetic level". Often it's as simple as "they were trying to smack the crap outta someone with their main power" AKA knock them out.

In either case, it was never narrated as such, and(in my opinon) lends a certain unfounded credence to the origin of the attack/blast(from Moondragon) in question.
