Surfer should be able to take BA, with his matter manipulation that he apparently now has, and his energy attacks, he can win. If the fight turns into a slugfest, BA wins though.

How is the Surfer doing these days, now that he's been Fractionized, from that arc in Mighty Thor and now Defenders? The last I read with him he was supposed to get weaker the farther he gets from the world tree, and can turn human. Is that still the case? How has he fared in Defenders--basically still normal, or is this new distance/weakness really a factor?

Are morals on?

@Owie: It probably is a weakness, but he still managed to stalemate Thor several times. I think nowadays if he is in a battle it should be assumed he is close to the tree, and at or near full power.

He's fought Thor multiple times already in the Defenders? Hasn't there only been a handful of issues? But yes I agree, we should assume full strength unless otherwise noted. I was just curious if there was a noticeable difference now. Thanks.

surfer ain't soloing nobody. He only exists to make other characters look good, and thats been true his whole existence, since waaaay back when he was introduced as Galactus's herald.

I think surfer is being a little over done here Thor regularly beats surfer so I see BA being able to beat him. Norrin has the power output but rarely used it and quasar and his sheilds have been broken by Masterson Thor so I see team two for majority in a tough fight
