Silver Surfer and Lobo vs. Sinestro and Black Adam

On another board, Lobo was considered the weak link, and doomed his teammate the Silver Surfer by going down too hard, leading to a double team. One poster went so far as to say Lobo is definitely the slowest of the group.

I am curious as to this board's thoughts on this 2 on 2. I searched and it seems this has not been done before.

Please give reasons as to why in addition to stating who you think would win. Thank you.

surfer is powerfull but he is very overated here.

SS would easily take Sinestro down. As for Lobo being the weak link no way. Lobo has given both Supeman and Captain Marvel a smackdown and he was drunk for both. BA isn't that fast (Mach 600) Lobo matched speed and surprised a BA Superman (pre COIE) with his speed. PIS on Lobo always wins he's DCs Squirrel Girl, not to mention he regenerated immediately from a drop of blood what is team 2 going to do to beat him

Team 1. Surfer takes down Sinestro easily and Lobo is strong and durable enough to take anything BA can dish out. At a minimum, he stalemates BA until Surfer comes in to tag team him.

while team 1 still wins BA is very fast. He only moved Mach 500 because his speed was taken away by Jay Garrick so Garrick could reach light speed.

Even if lobo is the weakest he wont doom the surfer. He all ready fought sinestro before if I'm not mistaken and did fairly well. The only reason he lost was because he was bribed to run off. So he could go another round with sinestro while silver surfer handles black adam.

There is more than just the JSA story that confirms his speed (BA). his 1st appearance post COIE hed spent 5000 years to come back from where Shazam had sent him across the galaxy. Nearest star in our galaxy 4 years away at light speed ( so 8 at Mach 500 half light speed) this is consistent with his 5000 year trip

Across the galaxy (it was previously across the universe actually.) its 100 000 light years away. PRE CIOE. this galaxy is 100 000 light years across.

nearest star to earth is only like 1 light year or less. alpha centuri is 4 light years since its the most common and popular star system apart from ours.

SS is intangible and has no vitals 
soooo BA and senistro die , then lobo turns against SS due to his logic less nature and they fight till the end of time

Sorry I meant across the Universe (typo on my part). While your right about the size of the universe now your forgetting about the accelerated expansion of the universe. Shazam sent him there over 5000 years ago. The universe has expanded since the big bang, and the rate at which it expands increases constantly. 5000 years ago the universe was no where near that big. And Prixima (the closes star to our sun) is 4.22 light years away (4 years ago it was 3.76)

the universe is 150 billion light years in across mate.

5000 years ago is a differential of a few hundred million at best.

NO SS beats Sinestro in a great match there is no way SS is easily beating Sinestro team one wins in a good fight.
