What range of power level? Street level? Herald?
Okay.
@marvelbeast:
Kid Flash (Wally West)
Superboy (Kon-El)
Nightwing (Dick Grayson)
@marvelbeast: Actually I'm switching Nightwing with :
Captain Marvel Jr.
@marvelbeast: Alright cool.
YNCG pretty much just chose every non-street level sidekick there is. This would be better if it was street level and only on or two characters.

Hardly, not to mention far from the most powerful. I can think of at least 7 other DC sidekicks as physically powerful as CM Jr, four others with speed to match kid flash, plus 5 who have power to take on the Spectre.
Teams Yourneiborhoodcomicgeek Kid flash Superboy Cap marvel jr Celtic Miss Martian Zattana Nickthedevil Rankorr Winter soldier Beatboks1 Sand Star spangled kid Tempest

not sure to count silver surfer as sidekick or not
SS isn't a side kick. To be a sidekick there would have had to have been a time when the character was inseparable from the character their considered to be the sidekick off. SS searched for worlds to feed G on his own not at his side.

@celtic: Zatanna isn't a sidekick. Her cousin probably though.
YJ Zatanna is a side kick.
To who?

@celtic: Nice. I wish they did a better job scheduling this when it first premiered. I missed a couple episodes and haven't been able to catch up. Good luck in the tourney.

Teams
- Beatboks1- Sand, Star spangled kid, Tempest
- tomlikesfries- Bart Allen (Kid Flash),Roy Harper (Speedy),Aqualad (Garth)
It seams Beatboks1 already took Tempest (Garth), so I'll change Aqualad to Nightwing (Dick Grayson)
Also, Speedy doesn't have his cyborg arm.
Teams
@marvelbeast: Just to be sure my picks are Alpha side-kick to Spider-man, Kid Amazo side-kick to Amazo, and Krypto side-kick to Superman of course. Just making sure you listed above Amazo as one of my picks might not of saw the Kid part is all.

@beatboks1: Technically she is his wife and was once the leader of The Female Furies. That should put her equal with him. So I wouldn't called her a sidekick.
Well Kato was superior to Green Hornet and he was still the sidekick because GH got top billing
Stripes was the senior member of the pair in the original Star Spangled Kid and Stripes and he was the sidekick also
@beatboks1: Well Kato isn't married to the Green Hornet nor is he one with him, if you know what I mean......And in Japan ( Hong Kong) it is called The Kato show and not Green Hornet show, making Green Hornet the sidekick, which they actually got right because The Green Hornet was always in trouble and in need of saving all the time like Birdman did when the eagle was always saving him....And The Green Hornet only got top billing was because of Kato A.K.A Bruce Lee, without him the show wouldn't have lasted as long as it did.
Thanks for the information, but neither are those two were married. It different when they are married, because they are one and no longer two. More specific, they are one and not separated. When you see Mister Miracle you asked where is Big Barda and when you see Big Barda you asked where is Mister Miracle, but when you see Green Hornet you asked where is Kato and when you see Kato you don't asked where Green Hornet. Because to you Green Hornet is the sidekick and not Kato laughing out loud. You see. Do you still see Night Wing a sidekick even though he has gone on his way? I'm just asking a question.

NIghtwing still qualifies as a side kick yes. The term sidekick doesn't imply superiority or inferiority, that is a connotation that your placing on it. The term originated from a British name for the front pocket called the side. Called that because it was the closest pocket to the body and therefore harder to pick. The term is meant to imply that a partnership is inseparable.
Your referance to the single season of the TV Show Green Hornet being called Kato in Asia is of little consequence in the greater pop culture. Green Hornet first aired on radio in 1936, then in comics and on film ( movie serial) in the 40's. For the far greater production of the Green Hornet he was never in danger and they were equals. he fought along side him equally. Your second statement is completely inaccurate. if in fact you don't ask where Green Hornet is when you see Kato (or Katop when you see hornet) than they would not be classified as a sidekick. That's what it means inseparable, associated as one. therefore a couple (i.e. married) are more sidekicks to each other than what we would normally consider.
@beatboks1: When Night Wing left to do his own thing did he not break partnership from Batman? No I'm not placing a connotation on who was superiority or inferiority. It wasn't imply there either. I know what a sidekick is.
I know when the show was aired.The Green Hornet was in danger, which is why they brought in a sidekick. The Shows was not equals. NO he did not fought along side of him equally. You should watch the show and see for yourself. Kato was doing things that Green Hornet have never seen before and could only image doing them. Hornet was only a brawler.They even had him to teach a few moves to him. So no way he fought evenly along side him.My second statement is not inaccurate. That exactly what I said and you do ask where is Kato when you see Hornet, because he was your favorite character that you want to see, sidekick or not. Why do you think they ask Bruce Lee to tone it down some on the set? It is because his character was becoming more poplar than hornet. Kato was taking the spot light and hornet was taking a back seat.... And that would still classified them as a sidekick.....And yes they were inseparable because the show was cancelled with them being inseparable. And can you be associated as one and not be married, after all sidekick is just another word for partner or partnership. And I didn't say they were not sidekicks, I said Big Barda was not a sidekick and Night Wing. Because she is more than a sidekick and Night Wing is a loner. Which is why he broke partnership from Batman for awhile.
