First scenario: Shunsui Starts with shikai. Shinji can't release his zanpakuto, but can put on his Mask at any time.

Second scenario: Shinji and Shunsui can release their shikai. Shinji can still put on his Mask at any time.

Shunsui is mostly a CQC fighter; he's going to have it rough here. Shunsui is skilled, but there's no way I see Shunsui being able to properly fight while under the effects of Sakanade, in fact, the more skilled you are the more you are bound to act reflexively on what you see and inevitably fall prey to Sakanade in the heat of battle. Not to mention the ease with which Shinji can apparently switch to just inverting one aspect to further throw off his opponent. Add Shinji's Mask for a good boost to all stats and the ability to shoot ceros and things are really not looking good for Shunsui.

Don't get me wrong, Shunsui is tough and he has hax too in the form of his games, no doubt;however, his zanpakutou has mood problems so that hax of his is unfortunately not very reliable.

Shinji with low difficulty. He was a threat to Aizen, where Shunsui was nothing but a toy to play with.

Shunsui both rounds as he knows/has heard of how Shinji's shikai works.

Bushougoma is enough to protect him from Sakasama as long as he needs to fight.

Well... I say that because I would rate Starrk above Hollowfied Shinji rather arbitrarily.

Starrk really needed to have more feats :(

Shinji was never a threat to Aizen, it took Aizen a very short amount of time to figure out how Shinji's ability worked and make the necessary adjustments, Aizen was only temporarily surprised.

Shinji lost to Bambietta, he doesn't stand a chance against Shunsui.

And how is that a basis for Shunsui>Shinji.

@gxrevolution96: Bambietta is far from being one of the strongest SR, and is defeated by Charlotte's Cero, while Shunsui destroyed Stark (Stark >> Charlotte), and is the new Captain-Commandant. Therefore, I think he's much more powerful than Shinji. I think he's stronger than Komamura too, the one who saved Shinji in this fight.

Shunsui takes quite easily now

Shunsui's fight vs Aizen was after him taking down the number 1 espada, so he was already somewhat fatigued.

And lol at Shinji being a threat. Aizen was just intrigued by his shikai. Once he was bored with it, he downed Shinji with one hit.

Scenario 1: Shunshui stomps. Base Shinji with his mask could not even down a non released Grimmjow with one arm

Scenario 2: Shunsui high difficulty. He will need time to get used to Shinji's shikai, but he is way faster than Shinji. He can stall with kageoni if he has to.
