So as many of you know my last thread got deleted for some bizzaro reason so this is the second attempt.Ill try my best not to leave anything out that i had before
 

Rundown AKA Rules

 
This particular tourney is going to use a purchase method.Everyone who cares to enter has 100 points to spend on upgrades (Listed below).All of the upgrades listed can be purchased in whatever fashion you see fit,so long as your total does not exceed 100 points.No Exceptions.After choosing your upgrades you must choose a name for your character (Because im mean like that)

Round 1:

 
Welcome to the Graveyard where the gravedancers unite.This will be a warm up round as it were 1 so you get an idea of how to use your abilities,2 to give you an idea of how this Tourney is going to function and,3 to weed out anyone who isnt going to see it through to the bitter end.
 
Your character (That you should already have made) will begin in the building with the big C on it (Kinda hard to miss)
Upon leaving the building you will encounter 20 Moria Orcs and 1 commander.

After exiting the graveyard you will encounter 20 Uruk Hai and another commander

From there you will move along down the road and will run into one more band of 5 commander orcs

Further Rules

 
I will be allowing 18 participants in this Tourney.
After all 18 competitors are in and have given their strategies for getting through round one,2 will be eliminated
Eliminations will be done by vote from fellow participants and anyone else who cares to vote on it.You may not vote on your own battle
This particular round anyone who feels like it will vote for the two people who have the worst strategies for completing the first round,so i suggest thinking carefully about how your going to go about it.

Pretty good warm up, his sword skills and stats make short work of most of the Orcs, placing the sword into soft fleshr the orcs, His Superhuman agility and DS make it near impossible for them to land a blow The Boss, is stronger , but i have greater Sword skills, You cant ignore No head

Round 2

Uruk Hain make this a little more interesting, they are fast and stronger than the orcs, but he uses the landscape to put the fights into one on one and one on twos, he cleans house until the boss, who comes at him and winds up with a face full of fire and a sword in the chest

Round 3

the final 5 orcs come, he stabs his sword into the ground, claps his hand together, traps them in a massive placement of spiked walls, he then goes to the top and has a Barbecue

Round 1: While exiting the building & she notices whats waiting for her. With no hesitation she unfolds one of her wings & with one fast swipe, she sends a blade of air cutting down the small battalion of orcs along with the commander. Walking away from the building, she just gazes at what she's left behind & folds her wing back in, proceeding towards the graveyard gates.
Round 2: Opening the gates, she see's the group of Uruk Hai. Heavily armored & well built, she knows this will take some effort. As the group charges, she unfolds her wings & takes flight while vanishing in the process. Within seconds a volley of flechettes rain down on the Uruk Hai. Few have been fatally hit while others have been cut or stabbed, but still holding on strong. With whats left along with the commander, she lands on the ground & reappears 60 feet away from the remaining group. Full of rage, the commander sends an arc of fire towards Sentinel, hoping to incinerate her. As the flame cleared, the commanding Uruk Hai seen two wings folding over her and growled viciously. Slowly moving her wings out of the way, she uses her air bending to grab the Uruk Hai & propel him towards her, impaling him. Removing the lead Uruk Hai from her wing, Sentinel takes care of the remaining group with a mixture of her master air bending & deadly wings. 
Round 3: After taking a rest, she heads down the road. A few hundred feet away, she see's the five orcs walking towards her, more aggressive looking than the last two groups. Not taking any chances, she vanishes from there vision & sends a dozen of her flechettes towards the five orcs. Not taking a damage, they charge in the direction from where they were shot but not in enough time to catch her before she took flight. Gathering  enough momentum and wind, Sentinel encases herself in a tornado & propels herself a high speeds towards the orcs with her wings stretched out, cutting down all five in one swoop.

Name: Rick Sh*thouse

Height: 6' 5"

Weight: 280lbs

Powers: Luke Cage durability (30) Karnak's weakness detection (30) Captain America's shield (30) Weapons mastery - (Caps shield) (10)

Background: Rick won Caps shield in a bet. He told Captain America that he could eat a brick, Cap said 'if you can do that i'll give you my shield'. Rick did it, and now he has the shield. He learned his weakness detection by playing Jenga everyday whilst doing a 5 year stretch behind bars. He has entered and won a few strongman contests in the past, and has a history of bar fights.

Orc Stage 1 - Rick decimates the 20 moria orcs with two swift throws of the shield. Multi decapitation for the win! (he spots that the neck is the weakspot). He then goes toe to toe with the commander, and although his strength is inferior he realises he can tank every hit due to his durablility. It doesnt take long before he takes his opportunity and brings the shield down just below the kneecap of the commanders left leg. The commander looks to the skies and screams - just before a flash of vibranium red, white and blue seperates his head from his shoulders.

Stage two - Uruk Hai. Rick instantly realises these bigger, meaner looking orcs have a good chance of being bigger and meaner than the last bunch of snotty nosed scallywags. He takes abreath and gets ready for action. Two black eyed brutes charge at him, scimitars in the air. He blocks the first scimitar swipe with an upwards strike with the shield that forces the scimitar backwards and inbeds in the face of the uruk who was holding it. The second orc looks almost shocked at the big brute weilding a shield so expertly - this is his last memory in his short, hate filled life. The Uruk commander, in a moment of rage, urges the rest of his force forward. Within 5 seconds he sees his team part like the Red Sea and a shield strikes him right in the mush, knocking him out. Rick catches the shield on the rebound and continues to decimate the now commanderless band of savages. This doesnt take long as they really have no way to get past his durability.

Stage 3 - 5 commander orcs. 'Now this is more like it' Rick says to himself as he sees the 5 meanest orcs hes seen (in the last half hour). He moves his head to the left, moves his head to the right, cricks his neck, takes his battle stance and screams 'COME GET SOME, MUTHA F******!!!!' (hes facing orcs, so this language is acceptable). The 5 commanders rush him and knock him back on to the floor. Rick gets up, extends his arm, makes a fist, moves it from side to side and says 'W******'. During the next 35 seconds so much happens that its hard to keep up with, but basically it goes like this: Shield swipe, orc blood, RARRRGGHHH, orc punch, shield block, CLANNNGGGGGG, shield hit to the head, (blood gushes everywhere - but its darker than human blood), UGGGHHH, UNNNNGGGG, KAPOWWW, BLAMMMM, lifeless orc body drops to the floor, scimitar swipe, dodge, sheild smash, NOOOOOOOOOOOO, sound of head hitting the ground, followed by an orcs body a second later, SMASSSSHHH, CRASSSHHH, CLANNNNGGGGG, shield swipe, more orc blood etc etc.

When the dust settles Rick is eating a brick amongst a pile of dead orcs. Rick sits back and hopes hes done enough to enter the forthcoming tournament.

Character name: Fox Trotter

Round 1:

Fox Trotter walks out of the building and see's the Orcs standing there. Not knowing whether they're friendly or not he walks up when suddenly an arrow is shot at him. He teleports away and chops the head off of the Orc that shot it. He then uses his Chi manipulation to hypnotize the Commander and makes him kill 5 of the other orcs before Fox cuts his head off by focusing his chi into his sword. With 14 orcs left he begins teleporting around killing them when after 12 kills an orc catches him off gurad when he teleports in front of him knocking his katana out of his hand. With no katana he is stuck dodging swords until he finds an opening and charges his chi into his fist and punches one of the orcs heads off. Then he teleports to his katana and teleports behind the final orc and stabs him in the back.

Round 2:

Fox makes his way farther down the road when he encounters the Uruk-Hai. Ready for a fight he charges both his fists with chi and teleports beside the commander "Listen man we don't have to do this" without a word the commander swung his sword at the last second Fox jumped out of the way and swung on the commander. He conected with one punch that sent the commander flying backwards thinking he had knocked him out of the battle Fox began to battle the Uruk-Hai. He transformed some of the chi from hist fists to his feet and began fighting hand to hand with the Uruk-Hai he took out 9 before he pulled out his Katana and started slashing. He had caught the last Uruk-Hai in the chest with a slash before he was stabbed in the side with a dagger. He fell to the ground with a wimper and was turned over by the commander and was looking a him face to face when the commander stabbed down into his side again. For a third time the commander attempted to stab him but Fox teleported out of the way and grabbed his katana and dug a hole and stuck the katana in it leaving it sticking straight up. The commander then rushed and Fox teleported behind him, charged his foot with chi and kicked the commander in the back of the head. The commander stumbled forward and fell onto the katana killing him.

Round 3:

Fox pulls the katana out of the last commanders body and falls to the ground. Knowing that he was losing blood too fast he focused the last bit of chi in his body on healing his wounds. After about 4 minutes his wounds were completely healed. Knowing that his toughest battle was coming up he began to trudge on. He then encountered the last 5 commanders. Not knowing how strong they are he charges forward and punches one in the face, the orc laughs at him and swings his fist. Using his superhuman agility and back flips out of the way. He pulls out his katana and prepares to take on his fist enemy. The commander rushes at him tries to punch him again, Fox ducks out of the way pulls his katana and slashes at the commander leaving a huge gash in his arm. Enraged the orc punches at Fox and connects this time. Fox goes flying backwards towards a tree, right before he hits the tree he teleports behind the commander and cuts his head clean off. Before Fox even has a chance to breath the second, third and fourth commanders rush forward and begin swinging at Fox, Fox dodges all of the punches and slices one of the commanders stomachs open killing him. Then he was connected in the side with a punch and went down hard, in less than a second the commanders were on top of him and began pummeling him. Fox then teleported away and killed the lone commander away from the other two with a stab to the face. The remaining two commanders rushed at him and Fox teleported behind them cutting the achilles heel of once and the leg of the other. Pouncing on the one with the acchiles tendon cut Fox began slashing at his chest and killed him. Then he was takled from behind by the remaining commander knocking the katana out of his reach the commander then picked up the katana and began walking back toward Fox. The commander swung and knicked Fox's arm cutting it open. He swung again and Fox teleported onto his shoulders and proceeded to poke his eyes out. Fox then teleported farther away from the commander who began swinging the sword wildly. Fox took a second to rest and then teleported behind the commander and used a leg sweep to take him to the ground. He kicked the katana out of the commanders hand and stomped on his throat repeatedly killing him.

Decided to change my character.

Name: Hilda Damodara

Illusion Cube - 5 (Flickering image of Hilda Damodara)

Albert Wesker - 50 (Speed Bursts, Super Strength, Healing Factor)

Martial Arts Mastery - 20 (Richard Dragon)

Controlled Bone Growth - 25 (Marrow)

Round One: Armors up with Exoskeleton, and joint spikes. Defeats the Orcs using martial arts, superior strength, and speed. Toys with the commander. Taxes his pain tolerance to its limit breaking him down with precision strikes and crippling blows.

Round Two: Creates a bone bo staff. Gives the Uruk Hai forty lumps. Their blows if they land any get turned aside by the bone armor.Then she throws the bone staff through the captains mouth.

Round Three: Raises their shields with a bone explosion, then speed bursts a leopard blow to the side of two orcs head, before dropping the Illusion cube. Using the distraction she snaps one orcs neck. Then makes a bone spear and impales the other two together against a tree.

Ok, round 1. 20 regular Orcs. 1 leader with the SSSerum and pain tolerance. 
Easy peasy. Even the leader, who is by far the fastest and strongest among them, isn't as fast or as strong as me. I move to fast too be hit, heal too fast to be hurt. And I'm as skilled as freakin Danny Rand. I'm not even going to bother using airbending or pheromones in this fight. I'll just let my claws loose and have some fun. 
 
Next round. 20 Uruk-Hai, 1 leader with fire breath and superhuman physical stats. 
Even being stronger and more skilled than Orcs, the 20 Uruks are still nothing more than cannon fodder for me. I'm far faster, stronger, and more skilled than any of them, and I have a healing factor to boot. The leader can match my physical stats, but I still vastly outclass him in skill and healing. His flame breath is the only potential problem. Heck, Lockheed managed to hurt Ord with that flame breath of his. However, my airbending is the perfect power for stopping fire. It's basic science that fire can't burn in a vacuum. It needs air for fuel. By using my power to greatly lessen the air pressure around us, I can make the leader's flame breath no more powerful than a cigarette lighter. 
 
Last round. 5 commander Orcs, all with Venom and mutated arms. 
As good as these guys are, I could still beat them any number of ways. Their Venom only puts them around 2-3 tons. I can match that, and I still vastly outclass them in speed, skill, and healing. 
However, just to shake things up, I'll let this fight play out differently from the others. I'll drop my illusion cube on the ground (I picked the Witch King before I even knew this round was LOTR themed), let the Orcs watch in horror as one of their most powerful generals, now unnaturally huge, leers down at them. Then, to make sure they get the full effect, I'll pump out some pheromones and watch as they pee themselves and fall on the ground in fear. Then I'll casually walk by and stab them one at a time.

Round One:

Dexter begins by meditating in the building to fully build up his chi and mentally focus himself for the battle ahead. Once ready he makes way to the back entrance and climbs to the roof of the building. Staying low he draws his HK MP5 and channels his chi into the weapon. He opens fire on the orcs taking out the commander first and then picking of his men as they scatter with unfailling accuracy. Dexter scales down building and exits the graveyard. Channelling his chi energy Dexter rushes the Uruk Hai opening fire the the MP5 Kurz dropping many of the soldiers quickly. He ducks under the firebreath of the commander places chipowered punch right into the center of his chest knocking him flying. Dexter then continues with the rest of the Uruk Hai mixing his martial arts attacks and gun to dispatch of them easily. Hearing the commotion the commander Orcs come running , their hulking masses making easy targets for Dexter. Dexter once again opens fire switching to fully automatic to handle their venom fueled durability. Aiming for their knees he drops all but one of the orcs before they can reach him. They last one barrels down on him arm blade slashing down. Dexter dodges to the side and kicks the Orc to put distance between them and opens fire again raining chi bullets into him untill the monster falls. Dexter then finishes off the other 5 crawling orcs.

After assembling 20 different characters, i came up with this one..

This should be enough..

E'rom Thundarr

Ricochet - 25 (Peak Human Traits, Superhuman Agility, Danger Sense)

Blades of Chaos - 25 (Kratos)

Barbarism - 20 (Kratos)

Hunting Helmet - 15 (Predator)

Weapons Mastery - 10 (blades of chaos)

Poison Coating - 5 (Coat 1 Blade)

STRATEGY:

E´rom will be using his Hunting Helmet, which increases his ability to see in a variety of spectrums, ranging from the low infrared to the high ultraviolet, and also filters the ambient heat from the area, allowing them to see things with greater clarity and detail. So this should give him enough advantage. Then he will use the Posion Coating to poison one of the Blades of Chaos, which by the way is a powerfull weapon: a large pair of axe-like swords that are attached to chains which, in turn, are attach to wrists. Allows to attack at great length with great power and speed. Blades emit flames and can cause explosions. Basically an extension of the body, E´rom has complete control over them and can do an number of tasks with them other than for attacking such as pulling objects and swinging. All that add to peak human traits and Superhuman Agility and Barbarism (bloodlust powerup), you have a great warrior, perfect to this job, not to mention the Danger Sense working as ultimate defense.

1 - So after living the building, E´rom will use the blades to slash all near orcs, with a 360º rotate movement, stretching the weapon for a long range attack, also using it attached to wrist for close range. The blades will just cut everyone while remaining orcs get burned. The poison coating will be the answer for the commander, as long as it can´t feel injuries, it will just get weaker, so E´rom will finish him by cutting his head off.

2 - E´rom will fight almost the same way as the first battle for the Uruk Hai, considering the agility advantage, but being aware of the second commander, using long range attacks to defeat him, also using the superhuman agility to dodge possible attacks, especially the fire breath. He´ll strike fire with fire and the poisoned blade will also work well here.

3 - For the big guys, E´rom will use the Hunting Helmet to detect the heat, also the spectrum of the enemy, finding the vital points, to strike exactly at the weak point, in other words, will aim the vital organs, after getting them weaker, by slashing and burning them with the blades, at the same time they get poisoned, once again, the Danger Sense plus Superhuman Agility will be present to escape from any threat. E´rom will finish them with the barbarian bloodlust powerup and blood in his hands.

Well he said that this round is supposed to be a warmup and looking at some of the powersets already taken I can see how they could be a stomp this round. The only reason why I wrote my character clearing so easily is because none of the enemies really had an answer to my long range skills and then even close combat wise I felt Dexter was more then capable of handling them personally speaking

@DeadpoolvIronFist: Well every character has to beat the orcs to gain entry to the tournament, apart from two that will get voted out. So i guess the orcs were created to be beaten. Inevitably some charcters will find it easier than others.

In the previous tournament, there was no system involving gaining more points after passing rounds. I wouldn't assume Sherlok is planning to change that.

Seems like i have a good supply to cover here.
@Phylos: I dont think it would even be possible to transmute the Hellfire Shotgun due to its magical (for lack of a better word) properties.
Even if you could there isnt a way of making it into either any of the other weapons you mentioned.You need to have all the components to make the other weapons for instance a flame thrower needs a fuel source and a shotgun doesnt have one.Make sense?I say this because i dont want anyone eliminated on something as trivial as thate beaten. Inevitably some charcters will find it easier than others.

The orcs here have very little in the way of fighting skill and the powerups you cn get here an put you well above any street leveler.To be honest youd be hard put to it to find one that could even compete with any of the characters already created.So to answer your question yes this is supposed to be easy

There is no guarantee that that anyone will be eliminated this round.I only have the extra slots due to (In my personal experience) the inevitable few people who will enter and never post again.Id prefer for that not to mess up my count because then i have to have another weird round or give someone a by and i dont want to do that
 
So far we are at 9 and i believe difficultus and progenitor wanted a spot in this as well so ill send them a PM to clarify that.

@Sherlock:  i was thinking about that earlier. not being able to transmute the gun or not. i figured the gun itself would have been transmutable while the "ammo" would be unaffected. i searched through some comic pages (besides comicvine) and read that it's unlimited? due to channeling hellfire itself. then again, some pages were wiki-esque. the transmutations i had in mind for the gun still channeled hellfire, i dont know if i confused you or not with just saying "flamethrower". the reason i picked edwards alchemy & the hellfire shotgun was because of the weapons that could be created, (machine gun, sword, spear etc). but if thats not possible, then shotgun & alchemy are separated.

This is my dude:

Name: Trace

Powers: Earthbending (25pts), Mastery of Element (15pts), Metal bend (5pts), Wonder Woman's Gauntlets (15pts) , and Bevatron (40pts)

Round 1. 20 orcs and 1 commander....should be no problem. Toss a few boulders at them to scatter them. Then use my enhanced speed to fight them one on one. I'll have to test their pain tolerance with repeated lightning strikes. But in the end, they're KO'ed.

Round 2. 20 Uruk hai and 1 commander.....another walk in the park. . So....using earth bending I would raise the earth underneath me high enough to stay out of reach of the fire breath and just shoot lightning bolts down at them. Easy win.

Round 3. 5 roided up commander orcs......no problem. Physical strength here means nothing when dealing with an earth bender. Flawless victory by sinking them neck deep into the ground and use their heads as target practice for my electricity.

That should do it.

i should probably get to the challenge now... 
 
round 1 will be super easy. orcs from moria are like cockroaches. the like darkness and cold, and they hate light and fire. once i start throwing around some fireballs, they'll be terrified of me. plus, even the fastest and strongest one of them isn't as fast or as strong as me. 
 
round 2 will be tougher. the regular uruk-hai will be easy. they're strong but they're slow. the boss will be the real problem. he's as fast and strong as me, and he has flame breath (and i don't think the fistigons can manipulate fire they don't create). he and i might be pretty evenly matched if i didn't also have the option of shooting him in the face with my assault rifle :)   sucks to be him. 
 
round 3 will be easy again. they're about as strong as me, but not as fast. and their cool arm weapon things are no match for some good old fashioned fireballs and bullets.

ok 
the melee upgrade is for the fistigons. they're not made of any special material, so i'd risk breaking them when i punch people.  
but as vibranium, theyre basically semi-indestructible boxing gloves.

Oh and BTW with the Venom upgrade the last orcs you fight will be about 3 ton strength which is stronger than you and the mutated arm has a bullet proof shield

1. I hit the ground running, 20 orcs heading my way, but I'm armed with 25 throwing blades. I take 10 out before they even get close enough to engage in battle. I decide to have a little workout with the rest. With my Chi martial arts skill ist's barely a challenge, they go down quick. I suddenly get struck by their commander. This bub's got a sting, but he's picked the wrong guy to p!$$ off. My healing factor and Superhuuman traits make us pretty even, but my body movement reading ability gives me a real edge, and this boy's got no style so he's skrewed. I take him down and barely croke a sweat. I quicly recover my blades before moving on.

2. This next group is a little bit faster. I decide not to take chances. I web up a wall either side of me and restrict their access. To get to me now it's all through an opening only big enough for one at a time. It's the old picking your battle zone, like holding a bridge or a pass against larger forces. These orcs don't have the brains to mount a collaborative assault and I easily pick them off one by one. Finally their head guys breaths fire at me. Singed my chin hairs at that. I web shut his mouth, there'll be no more of that boy. Hit him with a couple of knives (he heals almost as quick as I do). Have to make this count, dodging everything he throw is pretty easy with body reading, a couple of well placed nerve strikes and he finally succumbs.

3. Finally something worth getting my hands dirty. I engage all 5 at once. for a while it's an hard battle. I'm more skilled and able to deal with any once of these guys easy with my physical stats, martial training, and body movement, but the numbers are working for them. Unfortunately for them they don't heal like I do. The longer the battle goes as their injuries impair and reduce their abilities and I heal from mine the battle swings my way. I could have webbed some up or used the knives, but there are some times when it just feels good to lay on an old fashion smack down.

Airbending (the power) is 20 points. All you purchased was bending mastery, which is the skill set for using that power.

Sherlock included both of those things as purchasable items because all four of the bending arts take a great deal of skill and practice to master. You can buy airbending by itself if you want, but you're not going to have enough skill to do any more than the most simple, elementary tricks with it. To have mastery of the power, you'll have to buy the bending mastery skill (or chi martial arts, which would essentially be the same thing).

Figuring out the details about Archangel's wings could be tough. Some of the properties of the wings may or may not be effected by his innate mutant powers.

I would suggest looking at the techno-organic wings that the Purifiers started using once, but I never read those stories so I couldn't tell you if they had the poison-lacing or not.

@Phylos: The way the wings work are kind of inherent to archangel, the tech that apoc used on him, inverted the property of his blood, it could heal others,now it poisioned them, the wings were still made of feathers, they had not changed form, and with enough force he could toss the feathers outward as blades, Combine that witj his now poisionous blood. So they need the person to have toxic blood
