But we agreed in the tiger vs lion thread that The tiger wins, to make it fair in a realistic way, Baloo wins.

Good Point. But I just like Mufasa better.

I thought this was a fight. I guess mufasa wins, I mean he can appear in form of cloud.
zzzzzzzzz
I like Mufasa better, but I think Shere Kahn would win. May I remind you all how gangsta Shere Kahn was in Jungle Book, and in Tale Spin!? LOL.
Damn! I forgot he was in Tale Spin! hahaha! Oh, Disney, you are so silly.
Anyway, Shere Khan is like the Samuel L. Jackson of the Disney world. Mufasa wouldn't have a chance. This would make a good movie though.
Introduce Shere Khan to the Lion King. That would be cool.
Did you guys know there are Lion King and Jungle Book comics....
No no no! I take that back. Bagera would come in and kill everything ever.
Even us. We wouldn't have to be there, we would just die.

@spiderbat87:
That would be spite on a MASSIVE level. Leopards are part of the tiger's prey in the jungles of India.
Well throughout history it's been documented that whenever lions and tigers fought- pitted against each other- the tiger won around 60% of the time. Even though these are cartoon versions I thought it was worth bringing up.
What about the anime versions though? Iirc mufasa had magic, but shere khan was still a normal tiger.
@princearagorn1: Mufasa didn't have magic till he died, that said though he did have some pretty nice durability feats and was making some pretty big leaps after sustaining quite a bit of damage. Still that's all he really did apart from trashing Shenzi, Ed and Banzai.
I mean I guess you could scale off of Adult Simba from LK 1, who didn't have a proper lion's diet, nor any real fighting experience and the fact he still stomped hyenas, got bitten to hell and mauled by a large number of hyenas and then later was still able to fight a full and healthy Scar while blinded.
Hold on, you are talking about the anime version, yes? I honestly don't remember enough of it to make a case, just bits and pieces like the poison spitting two headed cobra, and simba vs shere khan final.
@princearagorn1: Was talking about the movie version?
@wolfrazer: oh, ok. There is also an Anime called Simba the king lion (it had it's own version of Shere khan), which is what I was referring to. But more importantly there was an anime on Jungle book, legit one of the best things I've seen. Granted I was a kid when I did it.
I know Tigers are generally stronger but I,m backing Mufusa..He seemed like he was stronger then your average lion.
The new series Lion Guard has some interesting feats for the power of their roars.
Well, as long as they're the second child of the king.
Mufasa...
Yh
It can go either way honestly. But one thing is undisputed, whichever cat walks away could be killed by even a fly perching on its nose. (It's gonna be a brutal fight for both and none will walk away without serious injuries)
Shere Khan slightly outweighs Mufasa but Mufasa is larger than the average lion so the gap between himself and the tiger would be subliminal and and almost irrelevant. Point goes to Khan in size but not much of an advantage.
By all accounts Shere Khan is handicapped most version was limp but this one was blind in one eye, Mufasa had no physical handicap may his handicap was his moral standards and benevolent character an emotional or mental handicap? However it's proven without a doubt Mufasa can be just as feral and savage given the proper motivation. Point goes to Mufasa for being without a handicap which should help in a fight even if it's just a little but honestly just as irrelevant as the size difference between himself and Khan.
Battle feat, most version of Khan couldn't challenge the wolf pack head on in full scale but this one could take on a pack even though it was no longer the full pack like during Akeela's reign. He also beat a jolly bear Baloo and a panther in this case it was a black leopard and not a black jaguar so that counts for something. Hyenas are just as heavy as leopards if not slightly heavier, single Hyenas scare single leopards, they have a stronger bite force, would demolish a wolf any time anyday and outclass them in all categories including having a bigger clan than a wolf pack. So Mufasa charging into a clan of Hyenas totally unscathed is not really lost on khan's battle with the wolf pack, leopard and bear. Point goes to both. Both also get points for durability, Khan for the last fight and Mufasa for being able to come out of being trampled and nearly gored by a wildebeest stampede, he could still jump high and pull his already massive weight up at an inclined angle against gravity and if Scar wasn't there he could have claimed out just fine.
When all is said and done the best scenario to bring out the most in them is for Khan to go after cub Simba and hate him as much as a man cub and for Mufasa to hear of it and step in to save Simba. To this end both cats will die from sustained injuries. But I'm rolling with Mufasa, his thick main should give him even more protection than Baloo's fur did when Shere Khan bit his neck. We see Khan has a habit of going for the throat he did it to Akeela and attempted it with Bahgera in the last fight.
