@sirbaronobeefdip: Hello there. You've already been spoken to about the way you talk to other users on numerous occasions. Temp banning this account, see you in a few days. Also I'd like to recommend you cease interaction with @leo-343 (and vice versa). This person has already asked that you leave them be, and if users can't see eye to eye, sometimes it's better they don't speak with one another at all.

I wish I was posting on here 6 years ago. Anyway, I'd go with Shao Kahn. I think there is a strong case for him winning this. Unrestricted Kahn would just kill him with a thought.

@powerfulavenger: irrelevant. Wolverine has the same advantages over Dr Strange...but would still lose nonetheless. SK has automatic shields and has soul-ripped a planet in one moment. He would do the same to Alucard.

If Alucard is at full-power with Schrodinger's powers at his disposal, then Shao Kahn loses.....if this is Post-Schrodinger's Alucard we're talking about. Remember when Schrodinger always boasted about how he is "everywhere and nowhere" at the same time? That speaks of a power that is beyond basic dimensional limitations or is outside the normal laws of physics. That means Alucard can only die if he either wills it or he's up against a level of power that can counterbalance his omnipresence and being outside spatial limitations. In this state, Alucard can either keep fighting Shao Kahn endlessly until the Outworld tyrant runs out of stamina or speedblitz him due to his newly-acquired ubiquitous nature and thereby giving him all the time he needs to launch a variety of attacks against Shao Kahn, including exposing and exploiting any weaknesses the emperor has.

Beyond that, Alucard doesn't really have that much going for him in this fight. Yes, he's easily a bullet-timer, but so is Luke Valentine.......and we all saw the outcome of his fight with Alucard.

Loading Video...

Contrary to the popular opinions of many, Hellsing characters really aren't THAT impressive. At best they have Supersonic level+ to Hypersonic level reaction speeds on average and possess superhuman strength that can easily tear through humans like butter. But the problem is, so can Mortal Kombat characters.

Loading Video...

0:26 to 0:29 - Cassie Cage is practically shooting at Kabal with a barrage of bullets with a semi-automatic and Kabal not only manages to react to each and everyone of them, but deflect them all with just his hookswords.

Loading Video...

0:28 to 0:40 - Mileena's second fatality shows her lunging in mid-air to curl herself into a ball, rolling in a circular motion so fast as if she's one of the tires on a speeding vehicle. She then plows through her opponents with such speed, precision and ferocity that she literally slices through them in half.

Loading Video...

Several times throughout the franchise, one of Kitana's fatalities center around her causing a person to literally explode with just a kiss........

Other fatalities she's displayed, particularly in her most recent in-game incarnations MKX and MK11, center around her use of the fan or displaying fan-like abilities, her most impressive showings being in MK11.

Loading Video...

One of Johnny Cage's fatalities show him literally punching someone's head/jaw off like he was rehearsing the scene of a movie.

Loading Video...

One of Kenshi's fatalities show him literally slicing and mincing a person's body into shredded pieces using his telekinesis.

Loading Video...

Between a Banshee scream that can literally skin a person alive, blow their heads off, leave behind a bloody skeleton in her wake and prehensile hair that can do the same, Sindel is a monster.

I mean, I could go on for hours, but my point is is that, MK characters aren't street level. In fact, they rival and even surpass Hellsing characters, even on average. What Alucard, Luke, Seras, Walter, Anderson & even The Captain can do is something that's been seen thousands of times in the MK verse. Neither one of these "powerhouses" really have anything Shao Kahn hasn't seen before.

@six-deuce:

Hellsing universe are more powerful FACT.

Powers and abilities

Alucard demonstrates, in various incarnations of the series, an astonishing and overwhelming range of supernatural attributes; these include, but are probably not limited to:

Immortality: This ability is rather ambiguous, as Alucard himself has stated that immortality is a myth. However, what it most likely refers to is the human souls inside Alucard; it has been speculated that, when damaged by blow that would have killed or incapacitated him such as exceedingly holy weapons, the damage is instead directed to his reservoir of souls. Because this ability does not really grant him true immortality, it can be considered as pseudo-immortality. However, after "Monster of God" Anderson destroyed the rest of Level 0, Alucard was still able to regenerate on par with him. (This was on par with Alucard before releasing Level 0). However, the "soul count" theory is just a fan theory, and has never been definitively proven, although there is some evidence in the series to support it. When he is struck by holy weapons some of the souls spontaneously die even though they were unscathed. Also, at the end of the series, Alucard stated he returns by killing all the souls inside him but one. It was even speculated by Anderson, an experienced vampire hunter/expert, that this was the reason for his not being able to kill Alucard.

Superhuman Accuracy: Alucard has been known to hit targets at great range using handguns while looking the other way. He does this by using his so-called 'third eye'

Superhuman Strength: The extent is unknown, but Alucard can physically rip humans and vampires apart with ease. He can slice through Tubalcain's cards (which are sharp and strong enough to easily cut through a uranium shell moving at high speed, without the slightest damage done to the cards themselves). With just his bare hand, he was able to stab through Alexander Anderson, infused with the Nail of Helena, in the heart and kill him while the Casull did not have noticable impact on a human Anderson.

Superhuman Speed: He can move faster than the eye can see, such as when he seemingly appeared to be a glint of light like artificial vampires have shown in his fight with Tubalcain. He's fast enough to keep up with a vampirized Walter Dornez, who was shown to be able to outpace bullets from machine guns when he was human.

Superhuman Reflexes: He has demonstrated the ability to catch bullets (both Rip Van Winkle's and ordinary ones). He easily caught Rip Van Winkle's magic bullet with his teeth (the same bullet which punctured a SR-71 moving down at Mach 3.2 speed several times in rapid succession and intercepted multiple missiles).

Superhuman Agility: The ability to defy gravity to an uncertain limit. He is also seen leaping impossible distances and can walk up vertical surfaces.

Intangibility: The ability to pass through solid objects.

Shadow Manipulation: Manipulation of shadows into physical form, which he can then use however he wishes.

Shapeshifting: Alucard can transform himself or parts of himself into bats, insects, snakes, hellhounds, other human forms including a little girl, an amorphous mass of darkness, and many other forms. Alucard has four known human forms, each with different characteristics and weapons. He also states that his form means nothing and that he can take any form that he chooses.

Weather Control: The ability to control the weather to an unknown limit, as demonstrated by the fog created when he returned to London aboard the H.M.S Eagle.

Teleportation: The ability to disappear and reappear somewhere else. He also has the ability to levitate.

Telekinesis: In the manga, Alucard uses telekinesis to close a door on a fleeing SWAT officer. He also launched six SWAT officers into the air and guided them to flag poles where they were impaled. Alucard is later seen moving a broken down air-craft carrier from the Gulf of Italy to the Dover of London all in a little less than 40 minutes.

Telepathy: Alucard can speak telepathically to his fledgling, Seras Victoria.

Mind Reading: He is able to listen to what the others are thinking of.

Hypnosis: Alucard was able to hypnotise a hotel receptionist who objected to the size of his luggage (his coffin), when he traveled to Brazil in order to investigate leads on Millennium (fans sometimes call it the "Love Beam" after a remark from Pip)

Precognition: As a standard for a vampire, he has precognition, the ability to see into the immediate future, which allows him to predict the movements of the opponents he fights. According to Pip, a vampire can easily dodge a bullet with their ability to predict human movements.

Familiar Summoning: The ability to summon familiars, the souls of those whose blood he has sucked in a variety of forms that either sprout from his body or swarm around him as an army numbering in the millions. These familiars can also include animals such as horses and the weapons and abilities that the familiars possessed in life, but Alucard can only use this ability when Control Art Restriction System Level Zero is released. The familiars can come in two ways, one is similar to a ghoul, mindless and constantly moaning in pain, while the other is the soul manifesting exactly how it was when it was alive, personality, powers, and all. It's unknown if vampires have control of how they want their familiars to manifest, or if the soul loses its personality traits (although the former seems more likely)

Bloodsucking: The ability to suck a person's blood and absorb their soul and, consequently, their knowledge and memories. (He learns more about Millennium after absorbing Tubalcain). He can also absorb blood through his clothes and skin, as he does with Luke Valentine's blood after his hell hound had eaten Luke's body. Alucard can also draw in blood from millions of people over vast distances (at least throughout the city of London).

Hibernation: Alucard is able to survive long periods of time without consuming blood, but is able to fight at a usual level of strength after drinking even the smallest bit of blood.

Immunity to Vampiric Weaknesses: His abilities and health are not in any way compromised by such things as sunlight or silver. In fact, it appears that the only weapons capable of harming him to any real extent are the most holy of Christian artifacts, such as Father Anderson after augmenting his abilities with Helena's Nail (a nail, which was from the True Cross, which crucified Jesus Christ, and was blessed by his blood) but even that did no permanent, or even lasting, damage.

Supernatural Sense: The ability to sense supernatural activity (In The Dawn, a prequel to Hellsing, Alucard knew the Captain was a werewolf the moment he saw him, and in the OVA, he could see the blessings on Father Anderson's bayonets as well as the holy barrier preventing their escape).

Combat Experience: In addition to his superhuman abilities, Alucard also possesses centuries of combat experience. While he usually relies on crushing his opponents with sheer power, he does at times use strategy. When he fought Alhambra, Alucard used shadow duplicates to distract him, allowing Alucard to close the distance between them and deliver the death blow.

Omnipresence: At the end of the series, Alucard has acquired Schrödinger's quantum reality manipulation powers after absorbing him during the Millennium incident. This grants him the ability to exist wherever and however he wishes to. He can also exist in multiple places at once using this power, and he can appear in astral realms (being physically present in a person's mind for example). It also makes him completely immortal; Any alterations to his person by outside forces can simply be imagined away, including fatal injuries.

Alucard wins this.

@powerfulavenger:

Powers and Abilities

Raiden is the god of thunder and lightning and, as such, he is immensely powerful and has complete control over electricity. Raiden's movements in combat are stated to be as fast as lightning in the Konquest Mode's lore in Mortal Kombat: Deadly Alliance. He can summon lightning bolts with a thought, project electricity from his hands that can paralyze, incapacitate, kill, or force an opponent's body to move wherever he chooses, create forcefields and blades made of electricity, summon electric orbs that act as shocking traps, use electricity in conjunction with telekinesis to move objects without physically touching them, form massive thunderstorms that shapes the weather and channel electricity through his limbs to strengthen his strikes.

He usually keeps behind the scenes in the games and rarely fights, although one notable exception was in Deception, where he fought both Quan Chi and Shang Tsung, and was able to hold his own for most of the fight. Raiden has a plethora of other abilities that are not suited for combat such as creation of interrealm portals, project blinding light from his eyes, raise fallen beings from the dead, take flight and summoning objects such as ships as shown in Mortal Kombat: Deadly Alliance.

The thunder god is gifted with foresight, and has the ability to see the future in his dreams or simply viewing it in his mind. His precognition can be enhanced by Kamidogu daggers infused Blood Magik, although this prevents his wounds from healing for a while once he has slit himself with the dagger. He has a degree of enhanced senses as he can track energy signatures and locate the presence of others, preventing stealth attempts on him or simply finding someone who is lost.

In Mortal Kombat (2011), it is shown that he can also use electricity to heal and resurrect others. He also has the ability to teleport to another destination by transforming his body into an ethereal state. Despite his godly status, he is not indestructible and has limits. Raiden, like any other god, will have his powers taken away should he enter a domain not native to him, with Outworld being the most prominent example of this. His powers can return to him once he returns however. It is also because of his godly status that he is forbidden to directly participate in any Mortal Kombat tournaments unless he takes on a mortal form.

It should be noted that even without his godly power, Raiden has a millenia of experience coupled with knowledge on 750 forms of Jujitsu and three other martial arts and is not to be taken lightly, even in mortal form. He is well versed in the art of Bojutsu, the art of wielding the bō staff in combat. Throughout the years, Raiden has consistently carried his trusty staff with him through the years, although he has wielded other weapons such as warhammers.

Signature Moves

Teleport: At will, Raiden vanishes and reappears behind his opponent. In MKX, besides being able to reappear behind the opponent, he can also reappear in front of them, about a jump distance behind them and even fake the teleport, which will trigger the animation but keep him in place. However, doing any version of the teleport besides the classic one (which leaves him right behind the opponent) will slightly deplete the Stamina Meter. It is called Sparkport in MK11 and is an Equip Ability. In MK11, this ability requires two ability slots and conflicts with Lightning Storm when equipped, disabling the option to select Lightning Storm. (MK, MKII, MKT, MK4, MKG, MK:D, MK:U, MK:A, MKvsDCU, MK 2011, MKX - Displacer Variation, MK11 - Equip Ability)

Both in MK (2011) and MKX, the enhanced version is called Sparkport. In MK (2011), it will have Raiden appear behind the opponent and quickly teleporting back in front.

In MKX, the enhanced version gives Raiden armor in some instances, activates and has Raiden recover from using the attack much faster. When timed right, the move can be used to extend combos.

In MK11, amplifying the attack has Raiden teleport behind the opponent, only to teleport a second time, returning to his original spot.

Electricity: Raiden sends a bolt of lightning flying at his opponent. In MK 2011 and MKX, this is known as Lightning. In the Thunder God variation in MKX, it can be charged for more damage, and this charge can also be canceled out of with a dash or run. Additionally, charging the attack completely deals increased damage and briefly juggles the opponent for brief combo extensions. In MK11, Raiden shoots an actual bolt of lightning at the opponent instead of a flying projectile and it is now called Lightning Bolt. (MK, MKII, MKT, MK4, MKG, MK:DA, MK:TE, MK:D, MK:U, MK:A, MKvsDCU, MK 2011, MKX, MK11)

Both in MK (2011) and MKX, the enhanced version is called Bolt. In MK 2011, Raiden fires two bolts, one behind and one in front of him. The one behind him wraps around the map hitting the opponent in the back.

In MKX, the enhanced version will stun the opponent in the air, allowing for a free hit but deals no additional damage. Only certain combos can connect to stun the opponent, otherwise the combo may be canceled by a blocking opponent.

The Thunder God variation allows for the attack to be enhanced a second time, leaving it on the fight line as a trap. If the opponent makes contact with the bolt like this, they will be stunned and left open for a free hit.

In MK11, amplifying the move has Raiden crouch down and fire another bolt that knocks the opponent down.

Torpedo: Raiden flies at his opponent and pushes them against the wall. He can perform the move in the air. In MK:D and MK:A, this is called Flying Thunder God. In MKvsDCU, it is called The Superman and in MK 2011 and MKX, the move is named Electric Fly. In MK11, it can be delayed and even canceled. Canceling the atack requires and spends a bar of Defensive Meter. (MK, MKII, MKT, MK4, MKG, MK:D, MK:U, MK:A, MKvsDCU, MK 2011, MKX, MK11)

Both in MK 2011 and MKX, the enhanced version is called Thunder Fly. In MK 2011, this increases the attack's speed and damage.

In MKX, the enhanced version does more damage and has armor.

In the Displacer variation, both Electric Fly and Thunder Fly can be enhanced after Raiden has grabbed the opponent, tossing them backwards and teleporting behind them to strike them down with a powerful punch for even more damage. The attack can be enhanced a second time at any time while Raiden is flying with the opponent.

In MK11, amplifying the move has Raiden grab the opponent after ramming them, flip over in the air and slam them on the ground for increased damage.

In MK11, if the move connects from its maximum distance, amplifying the attack turns it into a Krushing Blow, where when Raiden slams the opponent on the ground, they land hard on the floor, dealing increased damage.

Shocking Touch: Raiden grabs his opponent and holds them in the air while electrocuting them, then punches them to the ground. In MK 2011 and MKX, this is named Electrocute. In MK 2011, Raiden won't punch the enemy at the end, but simply let them fall on the floor, and in MKX the electric charge sends the opponent flying across the arena. (MK:DA, MK:TE, MK:D, MK:U, MK:A, MK 2011, MKX)

Shocker: Raiden grabs his opponent and electrocutes them. In MK:DA, he kicks the opponent away at the end. In MK 2011 and MKX, this is the enhanced version of Electrocute. In MK 2011, this lets Raiden grab the opponent one step farther, but takes a slightly longer period to start. In MKX, it does more damage and launches the opponent into the air, allowing for a juggle. (MKII, MKT, MK:DA, MKvsDCU, MK 2011, MKX)

Vicinity Blast: Raiden performs a closer range version of his lightning, but with more knock back and a wind effect to it, which can be charged up. In MK 2011, it can't be charged. In MKX, Raiden lifts his arms up and passes an electric current through them to shock an airborne foe, which can also be extended for some time if the button is held down. This won't hit enemies on the ground. The attack can be run-canceled when used on an airborne opponent, allowing the use of other attacks when timed right. (MKvsDCU, MK 2011, MKX)

Both in MK 2011 and MKX, the enhanced version is called Vicinity Burst. In MK 2011, this knocks the opponent back with increased damage.

In MKX, it will hit enemies around Raiden by producing a powerful electric explosion that irradiates from his body. It also has armor and increased damage.

Projectile Cancel: Raiden cancels out his Lightning or Vicinity Blast when charging it. (MKvsDCU)

Reverse Electricity: Raiden sends a bolt of lightning in the other direction hitting an opponent from behind. In MK (2011), this appears partially as the enhanced version of Lightning. (MKT, MK 2011)

Lightning Dash: Raiden slides across the floor and hits his opponent with his shoulder, electrocuting them in the process. (MK:DA)

Rising Thunder: Raiden rushes upwards to strike his opponent with a lightning-charged punch. (MKX)

The enhanced version is called Thunder Strike. After the initial uppercut, Raiden will slam the opponent to the ground with a hammerfist, dealing increased damage and bouncing them off the ground, allowing for a juggle.

Static Trap: Raiden places an orb of electricity in front of himself that will last for about ten seconds. This move has many versions that allow him to place the orbs in various positions around himself, such as above and behind. If the opponent stands near the orb, they take minor, unblockable damage. Spawning two orbs connects an electric current that will stun the opponent, leaving them open for a free hit. The traps can connect from any distance in the arena, even covering the entire arena itself. (MKX - Master of Storms Variation)

The enhanced versions, called Forward/Away Full Trap, has Raiden spawn two traps instantly.

Summon Lightning: Raiden summons lightning from the sky to himself in a diagonal way which catches airborne opponents. If the opponent is close to Raiden, he will follow up by conducting lightning through their body and into the opponent's head, dealing more damage. This attack has armor breaking properties, ignoring the armor granted by specific abilities and Fatal Blows. (MK11)

Amplifying the move has Raiden send one more electricity burst into the opponent's body before knocking them away.

Lightning Strike: Raiden stomps on the ground and summons a bolt of lightning from above to hit the opponent. The attack can be used at different ranges, called Close/Far/Very Far Lightning Strike. (MK11)

Amplifying the move has Raiden summon another bolt that pushes the opponent slightly towards him.

Jo Push: Raiden pushes his staff vertically at the opponent by using electricity, causing the opponent to stumble if it makes contact with them. This attack can reach exactly half way across the arena. This move requires two ability slots, replaces Electric Fly when equipped and conflicts with Super Bolt when equipped, disabling the option to select Super Bolt. (MK11 - Equip Ability)

Amplifying the move has Raiden teleport behind the opponent and uppercut them with a staff swing for a juggle. If the attack is amplified in the corner of the arena and Raiden is outside the corner, he will teleport in front rather than behind with the same juggle effect.

Lightning Rod: Raiden plants his staff into the ground at a certain location on the stage. Raiden can plant his staff at different distances, called Close/Far Lightning Rod, respectively. Additionally, if Raiden performs Lightning Bolt or Lightning Strike within the vicinity of his staff, it will redirect the attack to the staff and if the opponent is close, they will take additional damage from these attacks. This ability conflicts with Electric Current when equipped, disabling the option to select Electric Current. (MK11 - Equip Ability)

Recall: Raiden recalls the staff back into his hand.

Amplifying the move creates a lightning aura around the staff, which shocks the opponent every time they enter or exit this electric field.

Rolling Thunder: Raiden forms a small thunder cloud at his feet which slowly travels along the stage. If the opponent stands in it, they will receive minor damage over time. This ability conflicts with Quick Charge when equipped, disabling the option to select Quick Charge. (MK11 - Equip Ability)

Amplifying the move makes the cloud move faster.

Electric Burst: Raiden slams his staff on the ground, forming lightning around himself, which will knock the opponent down if they come into contact. This move replaces Lightning Strike when equipped. (MK11)

Storm Cell: Raiden shoots lightning at a short distance around him in a circular motion, which sends the opponent flying. This ability replaces Summon Lightning when equipped. (MK11 - Equip Ability)

Amplifying the move suspends the electrified opponent in mid-air, opening them up for attacks.

Quick Charge: Raiden enters a stance in which he will hold up his palm to reduce block damage. This ability conflicts with Rolling Thunder when equipped, disabling the option to select Rolling Thunder. (MK11 - Equip Ability)

Discharge: If Raiden blocks 3 attacks while the move is active, he is able to do a short lightning attack, firing short-ranged bolts of lightning in both directions.

Amplifying the move has Raiden summon three lightning bolts from above on both sides instead.

Super Bolt: Raiden quickly hops upwards, then descends diagonally forward with a superman punch to the opponent's head, knocking them down. Holding down the button can charge the start-up. This move replaces Electric Fly when equipped and conflicts with Jo Push when equipped, disabling the option to select Jo Push. (MK11 - Equip Ability)

Spending a bar of Defensive meter allows Raiden to cancel the move.

Amplifying the move has Raiden grab the opponent before they fall to the ground, lifts them away and blasts them away with an electric burst to the head.

If Raiden connects the fully charged attack as a Kounter or a Punish, the amplified version turns into a Krushing Blow, with Raiden impaling the opponent through the chest with his palm while grabbing them, dealing double the original damage.

Electric Current: Raiden taps the ground with his staff, creating a low bouncing stream of lightning that hits the shins of the opponent. (MK11 - Equip Ability)

Amplifying the move pops the opponent up for a juggle.

Lightning Storm: Raiden teleports into the air and hovers above the fightline which gives him access to several follow ups. This ability conflicts with Sparkport when equipped, disabling the option to select Sparkport. (MK11 - Equip Ability)

Concentrated Strike: Raiden fires a bolt of lightning diagonally downwards.

Straight Strike: Raiden fires a bolt of lightning straight forward.

Electric Stomp: Raiden flips forward and crashes down with an overhead stomp.

Cancel: Raiden drops downwards.

Amplifying the move has Raiden summon three lightning bolts under himself.

alucard in character gives his opponent the saitama treatment, meaning he will give his opponent a free hits in anyway before killing them. mortal kombat 3's smoke is a planet buster which is above the hellsing verse. alucard can't solo the mk verse, and is not dealing with shao kahn's soul steal which is alucard's weakness.

@reaper4: does not matter, it is still a game feat. like i said before, no hellsing character can survive a planet destroying bombs. the only way alucard can beat smoke is if he knows what he is doing and blitzes him. but this is not a smoke vs alucard thread but rather shao kahn
