Shanna Vs Caitlin

The characters are both teleported to the Savage Land and arrive at different locations a two week walk from each other. They are told that they have to find the other woman, fight her, and whoever subdues the other gets to go home. They don't know anything about each other, but they can use whatever they are able build on the way. They must also watch out for dinosaurs. Which one comes out victorious?

Um.. Shanna has a lot more experience.

But, lets just hope the fight itself involves a lot of tear of cloth skins and maybe them kissing and making up afterward.

Latest versions, so the 2005 Shanna. She still has more jungle experience (a few months or something like that), but not as much. And Caitlin didn't do too bad when she was stuck in a prehistoric jungle.

Nothing else? Even if no one knew both characters, I expected at least some more lewd comments.

Im'a give it to Shanna cuz it's her thing. But I think Caitlin might out power her. But whoever wins runs into Jakita Wagner who out does them on all fronts.

I have to go with Shanna. I think her artist is better.

That was what I really wanted to base it on.

I would have rather just based it purely on looks but they're both slammin. So I had to go to my backup option.

I like Shanna's art better too. Anyway, my thoughts were that Shanna, being more experienced and accustomed to jungle life would arrive at the fight in much better condition and with much better (sturdier, sharper) weapons, giving her a definite advantage. I'm pretty sure that Caitlin is a little stronger and more durable (but not completely invulnerable) but since she'd be in worse condition, she wouldn't get the full use out of those advantages. Shanna's own strength, durability and agility are impressive too, and those, combined with her intelligence (much more than you'd expect), fighting skills and being better prepared, would grant her victory without too much of a struggle. Fighting right after teleporting in might make Caitlin physically better, but would give Shanna even more of an advantage in that she'd be able to use the jungle to her benefit since Caitlin wouldn't be used to it. Guerilla warfare would be a tactic, hiding and then attacking from the trees every now and then over the course of days to slowly wear Caitlin down and keep her paranoid and unrested. Shanna would still have the edge in skill, intelligence and weaponry (she could make stuff in the times she's not attacking) and Caitlin's physical strengths aren't so above Shanna's that she couldn't win in a hand to hand fight in the first place.

That's all sound reasoning. I wish I could offer more but I just dont know much about Caitlin. Not nearly enough to make an argument in my mind for her against Shanna. But is Caitlin's physical superiority enough that, since they dont know each other, that she would be able to surprise and quickly dispatch Shanna in the initial meeting (before Shanna realizes who she is messing with and switches to guerilla tactics)?

How about mud pit during a nice drizzle? Clean and dirty at the same time.

What's Caitlen from I don' know who she is? But I would like to.

Does any one know why they restarted Shanna from scratch? I never read her new series in 05, does she end up back in the Savage Land? and if not Ka-Zar has to be bored.

If the 05 Shanna did end up in the Savage Land in her newer series than she would beat caitlin, due to knowledge of the land and what to expect along the way.

Caitlin is from Gen 13. The series was recently restarted so you could pick it up, they're only on 10 or 11 so it's not too far into it.

The new series didn't say where they were, but I don't think it was the Savage Land, just another dinosaur filled jungle.

Ah I didn't recognise her, not being in her typical garb. And I will probably pick up the new Gen 13 now.

Was Shanna's book in the Normal Marvel Universe, or just a stand alone kind of thing? also would there now be two Shanna's, if it is in the Marvel U?
