@thevivas@fitnesstribesman13@merulezall Alright my team.

No Caption Provided

Librarian Sarpedon is the current Chapter Master of the Soul Drinkers Space Marine Chapter. Originally Chief Librarian of the Soul Drinkers, most powerful of the Chapter, he was destine to lead his Chapter to ruin for a chance at true freedom. Rejecting both the Imperium (though not the Emperor himself) and the forces of Chaos, Sarpedon followed the words of the Architect of Fate - who he and his chapter believed to be an aspect of the Emperor manifest; which was later revealed to be a Daemon Prince allied to Tzeentch. While following this daemon in disguise, Sarpedon developed a dramatic mutation of eight arachnid-like legs. After learning the truth though, Sarpedon with his now hunted down Chapter fight the good fight however they can. Loyal to themselves, and the down trodden of the Imperium.

No Caption Provided

In this fight backing their commander are two Tactical Marines. The very standard Space Marine that is adept at all roles of combat. The Tactical Marines under Sarpedon have intimate team work with their leader, and are hard core Veterans as the remaining members of the decorated Soul Drinker Chapter. With a modest gear of Power Armor, Bolters, Combat Knives, and Frag Grenades, there is not much they cannot accomplish.

Now lets talk what is a Space Marine?

Loading Video...

Space Marines are the Super Soldiers of the Imperium known as the Adeptus Astartes. They are implanted with organs as children to give them super abilities.

  • Mucranoid - Protects against the vacuum of space and extreme temperatures.
  • Larraman's Organ - Instant scarring to prevent any blood loss and also helps heal major wounds easy.
  • Omophagea - Allows access to recent memories through eating of the flesh.
  • Occulobe - Super enhance eyesight.
  • Secondary Heart - Allows more stamina and acts as a back up heart.
  • Biscopea - Allows strength of up to 2 tons or more.
  • Ollitic Kidney - Filters poisons and gasses that might harm a Space Marine.
  • Preomnor - Allows to digest poisons.
  • Interface - Allows the link up with Power Armour.
  • Haemastamen - Allows for the creation of efficient blood that allows high stamina.
  • Multi Lung - A third lung that allows a Marine to breath poisons and even water.
  • Lyman's Ear - Allows sharper hearing, filtering of sounds, and near immunity to disorientation.
  • Sus-an Membrane - Allow the Marine to enter hibernation for centuries.
  • Betcher's Gland - allows for the creation of both acidic and poisonous spit.
  • Ossmodula - Steel like bones that can heal fast, and fuses the rib cage.
  • Neuroglottis - Grants sense of smell on par of an dog, and allows an Marine to taste the toxicity, and nutritious content of objects, or the air itself.
  • Catalepsean Node - Marines can stay awake for days with no hindrance.
  • Progenoids - Also known as Gene Seed allows these organs to be developed, and accepted during surgery. They are harvested from Space Marines to make more Space Marines.

This is not all they have going for them. They also possess the very durable Power Armor.

No Caption Provided

This Adamatium Ceramic hybrid armor allows nothing short of tank penetrating level weapons to cause real damage. Shrugging off what we in real life label as "Small Arms" easy. It also grants a 25% strength increase for the user. Another neat fact is they flush drugs into the Marine for further improve effectiveness.

No Caption Provided

Not only does the Power Armor grant these neat boons to stats, but they also grant a HUD display with very precise scanners and readouts. In novels they can pick out targets, thermals, night vision, multi light relay, bio readouts, weapon readouts, range finder, dampens bright flashes and loud noises, and more. A useful tool to keep the Space Marine ahead of the competition in battle.

Finally they are geared with some dangerous weapons in any fiction. They all possess the holy, and coveted Bolter.

Further more Sarpedon is armed with his Force Weapon, and Psychic Hood.

No Caption Provided

Force Weapon is a Power Weapon that allows psy energy to surge through it and obliterate the soul of a foe when given the chance from a stab. The hood allows for slight protection from Psy powers, and focus for the user.

As for the strategy, my team would keep in coms with the Clones @thevivas has. It is standard protocol. With team work on our side, we will mop up this battle field. As for who fights who, it does not matter.

Introducing the Clone Commando unit, Omega Squad

No Caption Provided

Background info on Clone Commandos:

Now for the actual Omega Squad:

Now To Meet The Members

Squad Leader, RC-1309 - Niner

Niner Skirata—formally known as RC-1309 during service to the Galactic Republic, then as IC-1309 after its reorganization into the Galactic Empire—was a clone of the bounty hunter Jango Fett, created on Kamino to serve in the Grand Army of the Republic. Niner was trained as a clone commando by the Mandalorian Cuy'val Dartraining sergeant, Kal Skirata, a man he would come to love and respect like a father. When war broke out on Geonosis between the Galactic Republic and the Confederacy of Independent Systems, Niner led the men of Lambda Squad in the opening battle of the Clone Wars. Following the First Battle of Geonosis, Niner was the only member of his squad to survive and later joined with three other lone squad survivors to form Omega Squad, whom he served with throughout the war.

Demolition Expert, RC-1136 - Darman

Darman Skirata, formally known as RC-1136 during service to the Galactic Republic, later as IC-1136 after its reorganization into the Galactic Empire, and affectionately known as Dar, was a clone commando of the Grand Army of the Republic and member of Theta Squad, Omega Squad, and Squad 40.

Tech Expert, RC-3222 - Atin

RC-3222, also known as Atin (pronounced /ah-TEEN/), the Mando'a word for "persistent", or "stubborn", was a clone commando in the Galactic Republic's Omega Squad during the Clone Wars. He was trained by SergeantWalon Vau.

Sniper, RC-8015 - Fi

Fi Skirata, formerly known as RC-8015, was a clone commando member of the Galactic Republic's Teroch Squad, and later Omega Squad, serving as the team medic and sniper in both.

Training

Here's a brief description of their training done on Kamino:

Clone commandos were trained by a group of one hundred elite training sergeants chosen by Jango Fett, of which seventy-five were Mandalorian mercenaries. These men and women, known as the Cuy'val Dar, trained the commandos in a variety of tactics and fighting techniques, but the impressionable commandos also developed a few behavioral traits similar to their instructors. The first generation of clone commandos were selected from the regular clone batches and then segregated into "pods" of four, effectively forcing them to depend on each other and work together in order to survive. During their training, commando squads were often pitted against each other during combat sessions.

Clone commandos were trained in live-fire exercises, giving them a sense of the reality of combat long before the regular clones. Anti-terrorist training was conducted in a building nicknamed the Killing House. Though many commandos failed to survive their exercises, the rest learned rapidly, allowing them to become better soldiers. However, the the loss of fellow squadmates was felt by any commando who lost a vod—a brother. The commandos also experienced near-death torture to train them in resisting interrogation, and many clones were left mentally scarred from the experience.

By the end of the commandos' training, the Kaminoans were very pleased with the results. Although unfit to fight on the battlefield as infantry soldiers, nor capable of performing complete solo operations like the ARC troopers, the clone commandos nevertheless demonstrated themselves as a new breed of warriors that few could challenge. Neither the regular clone troopers or even the elite ARC troopers could match the clone commandos in organization and team-work. Despite the fact that many commandos were indoctrinated in Mandalorian culture and regarded each other as brothers, the Kaminoans were impressed enough to dub their experiment a complete success.

Training in four man squads, each of the commandos would receive special training in a specific task, like sniping, explosives, medics, ect.:

Each clone commando was trained to handle a specialized task, varying from commando to commando. Some, like Sev, specialized in sniping and assassination. Others, like Fi, specialized as medics and received more advanced training than their other brethren in that field. Others, like Boss or Niner, showed more leadership potential and acted as squad leaders. Some, like Scorch and Darman, showed a natural skill with demolitions ordnance and acted as demo specs. Others, like Fixer or Atin, were trained to be able to handle a variety of technology-based tasks, such as slicing computers.

And here's a few quotes from the novel Republic Commando: Hard Contact.

Clone commandos were trained in all types of environments, as well as trained for all types of warfare:

Darman didn't think he was arrogant. It was just that he could do every job a soldier could be called upon to do, and then some: siege assault, counterinsurgency, hostage extraction, demolitions, assassination, surveillance, and every kind of infantry activity on any terrain and in any environment, at any time. He knew he could, because he'd done it. He'd done it in training, first with simulation and then with live rounds.

As well as trained to take in every detail of their surroundings:

He had been trained to take in every detail of his surroundings, although it was very difficult not to notice the creature.

Source: Star Wars Republic Commando: Hard Contact

Everyday for ten years, the clones trained harshly:

They had been very thoroughly trained, day in, day out, for ten years, and the only time they weren't training was when they were sleeping.

Source: Star Wars Republic Commando: Hard Contact

Clone commandos trained to spend days in observation of a target, perform emergency medical procedures with just a vibroblade, carry wounded for long periods of time, etc.:

He also had no idea what it was like spending four days lying prone in a scrape in the undergrowth on observation, rifle ready, urinating where you lay because you couldn't move and give away your position. He had no idea how you learned how to judge the amount of charge required for rapid entry to a building the hard way, because if you didn't get it just right, in a hurry and under fire, it could blow your head clean off. Two-Eight had learned that way.

Jusik didn't know how far and how long you could carry a wounded comrade when you had to. He probably didn't even know how to perform an emergency field tracheotomy with a vibroblade and a clean length of fuel line.

Equipment

Katarn Armor

No Caption Provided

Helmet - The helmet of the Katarn-class armor had a HUD or heads up display that consistently displayed tactical data such as the location and distance to your target, the health of the wearer and the strength of the suit's shielding. The helmet could system link to others through the use of an internal communications antennae allowing each member of a squad to keep track of their comrade's health and location. Specialized internal sensors could detect the make, model, and relative accuracy of every weapon that a commando used, and could adjust the format of the targeting reticule for differing weapons. The Helmet had a built-in filtration system which could extract oxygen from toxic environments. The visor was designed to incorporate electrobinocular and night-vision modes.

Body - The body of the armor boasted reinforced duraplast plating for defense against blaster fire and other anti-infantry weapons. Its design included resistance to extreme heat and cold. The suit could be fully sealed allowing a commando to survive in vacuum for up to 20 minutes. The knuckle plate of the armor featured a retractable vibroblade used for close quarter combat and covert encounters.

  • Knuckle Plate Vibroblade - The knuckle plate vibro blade, or 'Katarn' armor gauntlet vibroblade, was a retractable weapon inside a clone commando's armor glove that could be ejected from the gauntlet to be used in melee combat. The weapon was extremely lethal at close range. This weapon was a Clone Commando's only form of melee defense and was not large enough to be used against a lightsaber or a full-sized vibrosword. As with all vibro weapons, the blade utilized an internal sonic emitter that caused the blade to vibrate when ejected. This allowed the blade to penetrate light to medium battle armor and the chassis of the B1 battle droids, and to a certain extent, the armor plating of B2 super battle droids. As an added bonus, these vibrations caused minor sonic damage to their targets and could inflict extensive internal damage to biologicals with a single slash, rupturing arteries and organs without the blade having to touch them.

Backpack - The backpack featured specialized ammunition cartridges that held various types of ammo, and was reconfigurable for many different missions. An extra oxygen tank for aquatic and space-borne environments, a large bacta dispenser for augmented healing, or even an external communications array for long distance communications (i.e. subspace transmissions). It is interesting to note that the backpack had a display on it that showed the last two digits of the respective commando's ID number.

The clones in Omega Squad wore a specialized Night Ops Armor, which is just a slight upgrade from the Katarn-class armor:

  • Night Ops Armor was a type of stealtharmor suit that was used by clone commandos. Night Ops armor was typically painted black, and featured a special stealth alloy that shielded the armor against sensors and made the wearer almost invisible to the naked eye. The armor itself was a derivative of the standard Katarn-class commando armor that the clones typically used in other operations.

DC-17m Weapons System

No Caption Provided

  • The DC-17m Interchangeable Weapon System (DC-17m ICWS) was a configurable combat weapons system used by the clone commandos of the Galactic Republic. Designed by BlasTech Industries to be able to meet the demands of the Grand Army of the Republic's elite special forcessoldiers, the DC-17m became the unique weapon of the Republic commandos throughout the Clone Wars. An adaptable weapon, the DC-17m was capable of fulfilling multiple combat roles due to its ability to reconfigure into either a standard blasterassault rifle, a compact sniper rifle, or an anti-armor grenadelauncher, depending upon the needs of the user.
  • Manufactured to a higher level of specification, the DC-17m's design ensured that it never jammed in the presence of excessive heat, cold, dust, or grime, though it required periodic calibration. The DC-17m shared many of its internal parts and components with the smaller and similarly designated DC-17 hand blaster. Unlike the blaster pistol, the DC-17m was, at its root, a base stock which could be configured several different ways depending upon the needs of the user by way of numerous attachments: a standard blaster rifle, a high-powered sniper rifle, and an anti-armor grenade launcher. For the clone commandos for whom the rifle was standard issue and who trained with the DC-17m from a young age, changing the attachments was no more difficult than changing out a spent ammunitionclip, and they appreciated the reduction in load the DC-17 afforded them by combining three weapons on one platform. The DC-17m stock was sturdy enough to be used as a melee weapon in close combat, and the rifle had a safety setting to reduce misfires.
  • Blaster - Perhaps the most often used attachment, the blaster rifle attachment, made the DC-17m a powerful, rapid-firing ion pulse assault rifle. Drawing its power from side-loaded power pack clips, the DC-17m blaster could fire a maximum of sixty shots before requiring a reload; commandos typically carried ammunition for up to three-hundred rounds on their person.
  • Sniper - The second attachment for the DC-17m allowed the blaster to convert into a long-range sniper rifle with a electromagnetic targeting scope. The rifle fired projectiles encased in blaster energy, similar to the quarrels used by Wookieebowcasters. Ammunition magazines for the sniper attachment carried five quarrels each. The electromagnetic scope had two levels of zoom, adjusting the range between 10x and 20x magnification. The sights also provided an effect similar to an x-ray at close range. A well-placed shot from the DC-17m's sniper attachment was known to be capable of killing many types of enemies, from droids to several species of organics.
  • Anti-armor - A third configuration for the DC-17m was made possible by an attachment that transformed the rifle into an anti-armor grenade launcher. The launcher was loaded, one at a time, with dumb-fire grenades that could be launched several feet away from the user, and detonated on impact with any hard surface. Though the grenades were especially effective against heavily armored targets, the wide blast radius of the explosion made them good for damaging or destroying small enemy formations. Each grenade cost four hundred credits, and due to the size of the grenades, commandos typically carried only around four on their person.
  • "PEP" and Breaching Grenade - By the time of the second anniversary of the Battle of Geonosis, a fourth attachment to the DC-17m had been introduced to the Grand Army's clone commandos: the non-lethal Pulsed Energy Projectile—or "PEP"—laser. Originally a tool of galacticlaw enforcement agencies, the PEP laser was effective in riot and crowd control, or any other situation where death was undesirable. The weapon utilized a deuteriumfluoride laser to stun targets into submission without inflicting permanent harm, although severe bruising and lingering pain were among potential side effects. The PEP laser attachment produced a powerful shockwave of both light and sound when it was discharged, and the impact from the device was described by one clone user as similar to being hit with a flash-bang grenade and struck in the chest by several plastoid rounds at the same time. In the third year of the Clone Wars, the Merr-Sonn Munitions corporation released a fifth attachment for the DC-17m, this time a rapid-entry breaching grenade. While similar to the anti-armor attachment in many ways, the Merr-Sonn breaching grenade was specially designed to blow open sealed doors and hatches from a safe distance, and was fired from a stand-off rod placed at the end of the DC-17's muzzle.

DC-15 Sidearm

No Caption Provided
  • BlasTech's DC-15s side arm was a blaster pistol that fired charged plasma bolts. While not as powerful as regular DC-15 blasters, the DC-15s was handy in close-quarters combat, or when conserving ammo was necessary. The DC-15s had a recharge rate of one round per second and was capable of seven consecutive shots with energy fully recharged; after seven shots, the user had to wait for recharge of energy for at least one shot to fire again.

Grenades

  • EMP - EMP grenades released a 3-meter blast of disruptive electrical energy that damaged and disabled electronic systems. They were especially useful for disabling droids. These electromagnetic pulses were not quite as effective against organics, but were still capable of electrocuting or stunning lifeforms that had cybernetic enhancements.
  • Ion - Ion grenades discharged an electromagnetic pulse that disabled any electronic devices such as droids, automated turrets, vehicles, and personal deflector shields. An ion grenade was designed to explode on contact after it was thrown, triggering an ion burst with a three meter blast radius.
  • Stun - These weapons were small, weighed about 0.5 kilograms, and had a blast radius of between 3 and 4 meters. Mercenary units, local law enforcement, and military personnel were known to use them. These grenades were designed to explode on impact and could knock out individuals caught within the blast radius from the concussive force released.
  • Thermal Detonator - For use as thrown explosives, thermal detonators used a thumb-operated trigger and a timed detonator to ensure the weapon bearer did not destroy himself. When used by a soldier, the trigger was pressed and the device was then lobbed towards the enemy. It had to be timed, so it couldn't be thrown back, or detonate in mid-air. When used as gravity or inertial explosives by starfighters, speeders, or mortar units, thermal detonators used a range sensor to determine the appropriate trigger time. Some could even be clamped onto things, such as speeders.

Garrote

The term "garrote" referred to a length of cord, fabric, or any other pliable material with high tensile strength, such as spun durasteel. It was used to strangle an opponent by wrapping it around the person's neck and using both hands to pull on the ends, which would result in their trachea being forced closed.

* Only used by Fi.

(All info displayed above, besides the book quotes, are from Wookipedia.)

Here's what an out-of-practice Clone Commando was capable of doing, all by himself:

Imagine what four, in shape and in-practice commandos could do.

Fizz already laid out a simple yet effective battle strategy for our teams:

"As for the strategy, my team would keep in coms with the Clones @thevivas has. It is standard protocol. With team work on our side, we will mop up this battle field. As for who fights who, it does not matter."

With that, I send it to you @merulezall !

November "Nova"Annabella Terra

Background of Nova, right here straight from her first book!

Four years after the end of the Brood War, Emperor Arcturus Mengsk has rebuilt much of the Terran Dominion and consolidated a new military force despite an ever-present alien threat. Within this boiling cauldron of strife and subversion, a young woman known only as Nova shows the potential to become Mengsk's most lethal and promising "Ghost" operative. Utilizing a combination of pure physical aptitude, innate psychic power, and advanced technology, Nova can strike anywhere within the utmost stealth. Like a phantom in the shadows, she exists only as a myth to her enemies of the Terran Dominion.

Yet Nova wasn't born a killer. She was once a privileged child of one of the Old Families of the Terran Confederacy, but her life changed forever when a rebel militia murdered her family. In her brief, Nova unleashed her devastating psychic powers, killing hundreds in a single terrible moment.

-Starcraft Ghost: Nova

Furthermore she's also top of her class and well the whole Academy as the quote down below will tell us,

The average Ghost Academy trainee graduated after four years. Attempts to accelerate the program had proven disastrous, as rushing training of this nature simply resulted in bad Ghosts, which did the Dominion no good. However, the program was such that an above-average trainee could graduate sooner, maybe in as few as three years. (A below-average trainee simply was removed from the Academy permanently.) In the entire history of the Academy, under two different human governments, only 1 trainee had made it out in as few as two and a half years: Nova Terra.

-Starcraft Ghost: Nova

Yeah she's that good. :)

Additionally she did have a lover before her mind was wiped again, which was Gabriel Tosh, ironic enough she mite of killed him due to canon, however since there was two ways about it and I dont recall blizzard saying it was canon yet or that route had been taken, she still remains alive and well. Regardless Nova as stated was born into a wealthy Confederate Family until Rebels basically ruined her day for good, she'd be taken to the Terran Dominion Ghost Academy to where they'd train her just like Sarah Kerrigan down below to become a killing machine. However, unlike Sarah she wouldn't become a major leader of an alien species instead she was sent by Arcturus Mengsk to go and actually kill her, along with other various missions before as well.

Here are some minor TK feats Nova has these quotes are pretty self explanatory,

Get off of me! A second later they did. Both Freddie and Billy were lying o the far end of the cul-de-sac. Billy felt a sharp pain in his chest, and Freddie was dizzy and couldn't focus his eyes.

-StarCraft Ghost: Nova

A spark from behind her drew her attention. She turned around to see that the AAI was so much metal and electronic slag. She was sory to see that--the AAI had been a reuge of sorts.

-StarCraft Ghost: Nova

He aimed the pistol right at Nova, and she lashed out. The pistol exploded a second later, sending Nova flying backward, pain slicing into her forehead.

-StarCraft Ghost: Nova

Another minor TK attack against rebels, hint why theres a somewhat sunken center part of the floor right below her.

With TK, she also has TP, and she uses very often if not it's the first thing she usually does, as stated down below

She was to kill them from a distance, using telepathy. Yes, her training was complete, and she should have been able to take down Nadaner and his people physically with little difficulty.

-StarCraft Ghost: Nova

As soon as she felt cliff nadaner's mind, Nova knew that she could destroy her family's murderer with but a thought.

-StarCraft Ghost: Nova

Being able to use her TP to hear someone very far away,

Soon, she reached the dead zone. She could hear Nadaner's thoughts as clearly as if he'd been whispering in her ear.

-StarCraft Ghost: Nova

Furthermore, she's also very well trained as shown down below.

Dodging gunfire from a Terran soldier at very close range, due realize the Terran rifle fires very fast, and are heavy rounds as well,

Starcraft Ghost Academy 6

Aiming skills and while under pressure as well against fast moving zerg,

Banelings could cause tremendous damage. Without long-range tank fire, the marines were vulnerable. She had to take the aliens out before they could reach the troops. She sighted carefully with her rifle and fired, teeking each round to its target. The banelings exploded one by one, bursting against the rocky ground and spraying acid across the backs of the nearby zerg.It was time for a closer look. Nova leaps over a crevice in the rock and entered the fray, her C-20A laying waste to the smaller zerglings as she teeked each round to the most vulnerable parts of their anatomy.

-Starcraft Ghost: Spectre

Again, ghosts and Spectres( rogue ghosts ) don't have a problem dodging high velocity rounds fired from guns as shown down below, Nova is considered one of thee bests ghosts in the SC universe, furthermore she show some agile movements as well.

She did a neat flip and landed lightly on her feet. As the lights came on again, temporarily blinding the soldiers, Mal gave her the distraction she needed. He rushed out of the cell with the needler blazing, rounds piercing the marines’ armor and punching through the flesh of the unarmed. Several more men went down, and Nova fried the brains of the last marines with a focused mental push. Both of the spectres broke their concentration for a split second, and that was enough.Nova found a gap between their psychic fingers and pushed her way in.The first spectre shuddered and dropped without a sound, bleeding from the eyes. She whirled. The second one, a taller man with a shock of prematurely white hair, cried out. Mal zeroed in on the sound and fired the needler. Normally, a properly trained psionic assassin would have little trouble evading the rounds, but Nova’s mind had weakened the spectre enough to distract his attention. He took the rounds square in the chest, blood flowers blooming across his black suit as he fell.

-Starcraft Ghost: Spectre

Lastly even Raynor commenting on her skills and abilities,

"Cold and efficient. Reminds me of someone I used to know."

- Jim Raynor commenting on Nova ( Starcraft 2: Wings of Liberity )

Yeah, the basics, what else is needed now days? :)

Sarah Louise Kerrigan(Ghost )

Background on Sarah Kerrigan,

More background history, to fill in the blanks, and a written version of the story displayed up top^

Basically Sarah Kerrigan lived a normal human life, until she accidentally killed her mom and left her father to suffer brain damage, she ran away, but the Confederacy tracked her down and turned her into a weapon used to do their bidding. She would soon join the Sons of Korhal after having her Neural inhibitor removed and revolt against the Confederacy and after the war was over, she'd then help the Terran fight the zerg under the command Arcturus Mengsk. However, things took change for the worse as she would then be left alone by herself to face the zerg as Arcturus Mengsk had booked it with his fleet and left her for dead. Unexpectedly though, she wouldn't be killed by the zerg, but instead turned into one, to where she'd be a major player for the zerg under the command of the overmind. Furthermore she'd help the zerg wage war against the protoss and terran alike, until the overmind ( the first one ) was killed, soon after civil war amongst the zerg broke out as Sarah fought the lesser overminds and wrestled control over the zerg from then, over time she'd win and thus become the Queen of Blades. From there she'd wage war against both the Protoss and Humanity after years of planning and so on. She'd unwillingly change back to her human form due to Raynor, and for that Sarah and him would almost begin a relationship until the Terran Dominion came in and ruined their new future. After this new future ruined due to the constant fighting and being hassled by Mengsk she'd once more try to take control of the zerg and turn herself into a zerg-like being once more to wage war against the Terran Dominion in which she would succeed at killing Arcturus Mengsk and from there an unknown future awaits the SC universe

Killing in h2h action, no mercy!

Using her weapon and the environment to kill a mofo from super far away,

Lastly, one last note, her reflexes against another ghost, when she encountered him and he even got the drop on her, look at what she does :)

Behind me, she thought as she dropped to one knee, spinning to face her opponent, raising her right arm. The barrel of the invisible canister rifle was knocked upward and away. There was a boom! that left Sarah temporarily in a world with no sound. She fired her weapon, knocking the Ghost back into one of the shelving units. Even with the thin coating of fire suppressant material, her foe was still incredibly difficult to see. A crystalline veneer hinted at a human form beneath but beyond that, the Ghost was still invisible. Moving with lightning speed, the figure lunged forward, attempting to wrest the weapon from Sarah's grip. She spun with her opponent's charge, circling around and redirecting the assailant into a nearby bulkhead. An arm reached up,snatching a large knife from one of the hooks. The figure made another lunge. Sarah jumped backward. The Ghost slashed across, from left to right, missing by inches, then raised the weapon for a downward slice.Sarah gripped her opponent's wrist with her right arm, threading her left arm around the Ghost's, grabbing her own wrist and yanking downward with all the weight of her body. She felt her opponent's wrist break as the figure hit the floor. In a blur of action she removed the knife and plunged it into the Ghost's chest. She withdrew the knife, preparing to plunge it downward again.

Gear for both Ghosts.

background information as well, and gear, do note basically what nova has in gear, sarah does as well thus this is kind of a two in one deal,

Weapons for both ghosts

  • C-10A rifles
  • AGR-14 rifles
  • BE3, Concussive, EMP, Flash, Fragmentation, Gas, Hellfire, Irradiation, and Lockdown grenades
  • psi-blades

Armor for both ghosts

Armor known as Hostile environment suit (HES)/aka skinsuit

  • Can adjust temperature of their surroundings
  • stealth mode
  • Turn invisible
  • increases personal stats including psionic powers
  • Sensors
  • heat vision
  • A built in Computer

Plan of Attack

While the predators are off hunting down the space marines, the two ghosts will take care of the clone commandos using their gear and tech to fight them. Regardless if their invisible or not they can read the thoughts of the clone troopers like an open book, learn all their training and so on. The same applies to the SM as well, however as they hear their mind they can set up either firing spots with their c-10A rifles and take them out or get in closer with the AGR-14 rifles and clear them out. I dont think the clone troopers can withstand the fire power the ghosts are packing and with that will and should be able to easily take them down. After the clones are down they will move in onto the Space marines and aid their fellow teammates in slaughtering them as well, as they shoot the SM's in the head with nice big ol' fire power delivered from them. Thus after a quick fight the battle is ours and neither ghost dies.

Background+Training

Now, if you read the one before this, you saw what Exarchs are, but I shall reexplain just what they are: Exarchs are the leaders of the Aspect Shrines and the trainers of the Aspect Warriors. An Aspect Warrior is an Eldar who has decided to walk the Path of the Warrior. For decades, often centuries, this Aspect Warrior concentrates on training and war with an almost religious obsession. The difference between even a mere Aspect Warrior and, say, a Clone Commando is the difference between the earth and sky. A clone commando trains everyday for ten years, an Aspect Warrior would consider such a being a mere novice upon the path of the warrior.

"Their minds and bodies are honed with endless exercise, both physical and spiritual, until they become suffused with the Aspect of Kaela Mensha Khaine that their shrine represents. The Aspect Warriors do not all live in the shrines, and when they put aside their ritual masks and uniforms, they can walk at peace through their craftworld. Only the keepers of each shrine, the Exarchs, live within them, unable and unwilling to escape." - 6th Edition Eldar Codex, Pg. 11

Aspect Warriors who can no longer take off their mask and constantly lust for war and bloodshed are said to be 'lost' upon the path. They are no longer allowed to leave the Shrine and dedicate the rest of their 1,000+ year lifespans towards war and perfection. These special Aspect Warriors are the ones who shall take up the armor of the Exarch should the current Exarch fall.

"Only those Eldar who are completely lost upon the Path of the Warrior become Exarchs. This process only rarely occurs, but once it has taken place it can never be reversed. It happens as a result of the repeated exhilaration of battle - a feeling so strong it can leave an indelible imprint upon the psyche. When an Aspect Warrior loses the ability to dissociate from the killer-self, he is trapped forever, held in both fear and awe by his kin." 7th Edition Codex, Pg. 20

Once these Aspect Warriors, lost to the Path of the Warriors, dons the armor, the Exarch is reborn. Exarchs are some of the greatest warriors of the 40k Universe. True 'composite' beings, Exarchs are the combined skill, spirit and psyche's of dozens of supremely skilled Aspect Warriors who have worn the armor before them.

In fact, it would almost make more sense to consider the Exarch more the armor then the Eldar wearing it, for inside this armor lies the memories, consciousness and skill of every Aspect Warrior who has ever worn it which merges with the new wearer to become the 'Exarch'. This gives an Exarch far more skill and experience than any single warrior could ever hope to achieve in a thousand lifetimes.

"Only the keepers of each shrine, the Exarchs, live always within them. Eldar Exarchs are the war aspect of Khaine emobided. They are the high priest of the Bloody-Handed God and the teachers of his creed." 7th Edition Codex, pg. 20

There is not a single warrior in this CaV who can boast to have the same amount of experience or training as the Exarch without making a bold faced lie, for indeed, their skill is supreme.

Now, I bet you are wondering, Wut, why does this matter? Well, because a Phoenix Lord is the Exarch of Exarchs.

The Phoenix Lord created the way of war in which the Aspect Warriors following are trained in, in the case of Jain Zar, the Howling Banshees, who, in the words of my own opponent:

"Ugg, he is going to use Banshees :) I can see it now.

... Depends on how many. Each one is better than a tactical Marine. Able to one shot, hell no, they are OP for this.

I can live with Dire Avengers. I can live against 2 banshees even." - SirFizzWhizz

So, you can imagine what an Exarch of Aspect Warriors superior to Tactical Marines would be like, now, to wrap your mind around Jain Zar and her mind numbing level of experience and training, consider if each Exarch had, merely, 12 different Aspect Warriors making up their 'being'. When Jain Zar falls... it is an Exarch that dons her armor and is then control by her psyche.

So, while an Exarch is the combined souls, experience and skill of numerous Aspect Warriors, Jain Zar, the Phoenix Lord, is the combined souls, experience and skill of numerous Exarchs.

She is to a Howling Banshee, as a Primarch is to his Space Marines. To face a Phoenix Lord is to face the very epitome of Eldar skill, the pinnacle of their mastery of war and Jain Zar is one of the best of the Phoenix Lords. To be blunt, having her here, alone, would be too much. With the two ghost as well? This is cruel even by 40k standards.

Skills/Abilities

The meat of this, brace yourself, for Jain Zar is ludicrous, and so I will start this by showing the skill and speed of a normal Howling Banshee:

"As with humans, all eldar were not created equal. Yuris had learned that at great cost. The ones with weak projectile rifles and thin armour of black plate and mesh weave – they died like weak children and shot with all the skill expected of any hive-born member drawn from humanity’s urban dregs. But the others… The shrieking witches and the sword-killers… Six warriors dead in three hours. The alien maidens would dissolve out of the dark, weaving past any gunfire, and lock blades with the Night Lords in a storm of blows. Whether they killed or not didn’t seem to change their behaviour; as soon as the first blade clashes were done, they’d break away and flee back through the tunnels. The howling was the worst part of every charge – they’d scream a dirge long and loud enough to wake the forgotten dead of this accursed world. Each howl knifed a sliver of ice right into the back of his head, doing something to his brain, slowing his reactions enough to leave him straining to parry every blow." - Pgs.251-252 Void Stalker

The squad of Howling Banshees would come from the shadows, undetectable to even the Space Marines, kill members of their group, dodging bolter fire like it was nothing then melt back into the shadows. Their mask, which I will touch on in the equipment section, saps the strength from the one who hears it making them slower and easier prey for the Banshee. More then that, simply 'not listen' does not work due to it being a psychic scream and piercing the mind, itself.

So, not only is the normal Howling Banshee a bullet timer (better since bolter rounds move faster), but they are faster and better in hand to hand then Space Marines, but we already covered this as, indeed, a Howling Banshee is superior to a Tactical Marine.

But that is just Tactical Marines, what about something a little more... challenging...?

"The first howls had caught them unprepared. Before the blade-witches attacked, they shrieked their mournful cries, using the song itself as a weapon. Immunity to fear meant nothing in that song’s shadow – Talos felt his blood run cold, felt his muscles slowing, felt sweat break out at his temples, as his body reacted the way any terrified mortal’s flesh might. The sensation had been… incredible, almost intoxicating in its unnatural force. Like nothing he’d ever felt in all the long decades of his life. No soul enhanced by gene-seed could feel terror, yet even though the creeping doubt never touched his mind, the physical sensation of feeling fear still forced a laugh from his throat. To think this was a pale reflection of what he inflicted on those he killed? To sense it first-hand? How educational, he’d thought, grinning his crooked grin. The amusement was admittedly dampened by the deadness in his limbs, and short-lived enough to burn away in his anger a moment later." Pg.254 Void Stalker

Once again, they can easily sneak up on Space Marines, but these Space Marines are Terminators, Space Marines in armor strong enough to resist plasma fire, armed with stormbolters (which are superior to bolters), strong enough to throw metal blast doors like Frisbee.... And what happens in this skirmish?

"‘They’re not howling now,’ Cyrion had laughed. Talos hadn’t laughed. Three of Third Claw lay dead, cut to pieces by the banshees’ blades. Only one of the eldar had fallen; the one he’d smashed aside with his fist." Pg.255 Void Stalker

Three terminators brought down and only one Banshee laid low by the Main character. Once again, they were able to disappear without the Space Marines being able to find them.

And what did these Space Marines think of those Banshees?

"‘These are nothing more than dregs.’ Cyrion turned his tusked helm towards Mercutian. ‘But the shrieking maidens? I’ve not managed to hit one, yet.’ ‘Nor I,’ said Talos. ‘Not since the first one. The weaker ones die like vermin. The howling ones are a breed apart.’" Pg.258 Void Stalker

Granted, later on, the Main Character was able to disable three Banshees thanks to his scream, if anything, this shows Talos own skill in comparison to normal Marines. In fact, one of the better Space Marine speed feats comes from Talos which, if needed, I shall display later. (To sum it up, he moves thirty meters, vaults over a table and strikes a man down in the span of a single heartbeat and before anyone could react. He did this while injured.)

But Jain Zar, herself?

Well, here is a nice stealth feat:

"His retinal display feeds were white blurs of scrolling gibberish. Blinking twice brought them back into resolution. Xan Kurus’s life signals registered as a flatline. As did Fal Torm’s. That cannot be. Yuris forced himself to his feet, biting back a groan at the agony of his broken knee and missing hand. His armour’s damage prevented it from flooding pain inhibitors into his bloodstream, only compounding his torment. He found his last two brothers in the hallways ahead, and shook with suppressed laughter. Both bodies were sprawled across the stone floor, their ruination exacting and complete. Xan Kurus and Fal Torm were both cleaved in half at the waist, their bodies separated from their legs. Blood decorated the floor in patternless blotching. Neither of them had a head. Their helms were free of their severed necks, released to roll against the wall once the corpses fell. Yuris couldn’t bite back the laughter. Despite abandoning him, they’d died before him, anyway. Even through the pain, the notion appealed to his sense of poetic justice. The blade that killed Yuris struck first in the back, driving through his lower spine and bursting from the layered armour over his belly. Foul, glistening ropes of offal followed it out, as his insides tumbled in a sick heap at his boots. Yuris managed to remain standing for another couple of heartbeats before the blade struck again. He saw it this time; a blur of spinning silver and burning black, slashing through the air quicker than a blink. It cleaved into his ripped stomach and tore out from his lower back, and this time Yuris fell to the ground with a cry and a crash. For one grotesque moment, he found himself on his back, reaching with his one remaining hand to drag himself back over to his legs. Then she was above him. The creature Lucoryphus had warned them about. His racing, firing, dying mind screamed at him to act. He had to vox the others. He had to warn them she was already down here. But that didn’t happen. He said nothing. He warned no one. Yuris opened his mouth, only to choke a hot flood of bile and blood down his neck. The silent witch-queen lifted the spear cradled in her other hand, and lifted it high above. She said a single word in crude Gothic, her accent spicing it almost beyond recognition. ‘Sleep.’ For Yuris, blessed blackness dawned at last, with the fall of an alien blade." Pg.253 Void Stalker

You might notice Yuris is the Space Marine from an above quote, which is true, he knew the Banshees were around as did his squad mates, but despite that, Jain was easily able to dispatch both healthy members without either being able to get off a shot and without Yuris noticing, something he considered impossible, and before Yuris could register what had happened, Jain Zar had impaled him as well.

Space Marine's superhuman senses mean nothing to Jain Zar.

How about some speed?

"Talos was still laughing as the Thunderhawk hovered in place, riding its own heat haze, with the dim lighting of the cockpit revealing two figures within. The alien maiden was already moving. She became a black blur, dancing through the rain in a velvet sprint. Detonations clawed at her heels as the gunship opened fire, shredding the stone at her feet in a hurricane of explosive rounds. One moment she fled across the parapets, the next she simply ceased to exist, vanishing into shadow." Pgs.6-7 Void Stalker

She was able to outrun the fire of a Thunderhawk (If you do not know, it is a large combat dropship of the Space Marines and carries all the weaponry one would imagine from a 40k Space Marine ship) and even disappears into the shadow before Talos's eyes and disappeared from the Thunderhawk's vision.

But for those who don't know, the Thunderhawk has eightof these and can have up to sixteen (twin-linked = two).

Yes, Jain Zar may secretly be Batman.

More speed, this time, how fast she can throw her Jainas Mor (if you picture an oversized shuriken with power swords instead of normal metal, you are on the right track)

Even as the maiden rammed her spear one-handed through the prone Raptor’s stomach, she was hurling her throwing star. Cyrion’s enhanced reactions were honed from centuries of battle, and years of training even before that. In his lifetime, he’d blocked solid-slug bullets on his vambrace, and weaved to avoid laser fire without feeling its heat. His reflexes, like all of the warriors within the Legiones Astartes, were so far beyond human that they bordered on supernatural. He was already moving to dodge aside before the blade left her fingers. It wasn’t enough. Not even close. The spinning knives took him in the chest, crunching deep as they bit, and black fire burst across his armour. The witch-queen held her hand to recall the throwing star." Pg.280 Void Stalker

Yep. A Space Marine with centuries of combat experience and even more training, who has bullet timed and even dodged laser fire was not able to dodge Jain Zar's Jainas Mor. Not even close, and he started to dodge before she had even thrown it.

I have more, of course, but it would be no fun to post them all at once (such as the scene of Jain Zar, while injured and in a small corridor, dodging Heavy Bolter fire or her butchering the squad of terminators). But, I think you would agree that Jain Zar is a monster.

Equipment

Jain Zar brings her power glaive, Zhai Morenn, her super shuriken, the Jainas Mor, her special banshee mask and her Phoenix Lord armor.

Zhai Morenn:

It is a power glaive forged in the days before the Fall. It is extraordinarily light, but it doesn't truly have anything especially noteworthy about it besides the fact that it is a powered blade and so will shear clean through any armor worn by her opponents like wet tissue.

Jainas Mor:

As seen above, it is a large shuriken like object with powered blade (so once again making armor worthless), and you have already seen how mindbogglingly fast she can throw it, but more then that, it will come back to her on command:

"The witch-queen held her hand to recall the throwing star." Pg.280 Void Stalker

But this is what it also does to those hit (besides, you know, shearing through armor and killing them):

"He moved first to where Cyrion lay. The throwing star had left almost nothing of his chest, its black fire eating much of the bone and meat of his sternum and the organs beneath. He removed Cyrion’s helm with a careful touch brought on as much by his own wounds as respect for the dead. Talos blinked when Cyrion’s hand gripped his wrist." Pg.284 Void Stalker

Not only does it cleave straight into you, its black fires melt and eat away at the bone and meat inside their body. A hideous weapon.

Mask of Jain Zar:

This is the normal Banshee's mask:

"This precursor to the Banshee mask turns its wearer's war cry into a mind-shredding sonic barrage." Eldar, 7th Edition Codex, Pg. 146

You saw its effects above, as it slowed the reaction speed of the Space Marines, but its effects on normal humans? Like those Clone Commandos? Are far worse:

"The snap of the humans’ lasguns was drowned out by the piercing shriek of the Howling Banshees as they charged again, their masks projecting a psychosonic wave before them. Some of the humans fell to their knees, ears and eyes bleeding, others dropped weapons from numbed fingers or simply collapsed with spasmodic fits. Even those that were not incapacitated stood in quivering shock, unable to defend themselves as Erethaillin and her warriors closed for the kill, power swords cutting through flak jackets, flesh and bone without resistance." Path of the Warrior, Pg.500

If you were curious on what it sounds like:

Loading Video...

Jain Zar's mask is the first of its kind, the Banshee's are just copies of it, and her scream is far more powerful:

"It was she who first perfected the Scream that Steals - though the psychosonic barrage that emanates from her mask can not only stun the foe but liquefy their brains in the process." Eldar, 6th Edidtion Codex, Pg. 57

"Her war cry can burst a man's heart or liquefy his brain with its intensity." Eldar, 7th Edition Codex, Pg. 57

Yeah, normal Banshees may slow down reaction speeds, or in normal humans, cause brain hemorrhaging, spasms and other not nice things, Jain Zar outright causes your brain to liquefy or your heart to explode. Can you imagine what is going to happen to those Commandos when Jain Zar comes to the field? It won't be pretty.

Phoenix Lord Armor:

This armor, much like the Aspect Armor, is akin to nano-armor, molding to her body so as to not hinder her movement, but its protection is intense:

"A withering spit of shells crashed against her black-and-bone armour, sending her reeling again. Talos broke off to reload. Cyrion did the same, a second later. Both of them froze with their bolters empty, staring at the damaged wall where she’d been a moment before. Korosa crashed to the ground, breaking the sudden silence. For a long moment, Cyrion turned in place, unwilling to believe she was gone." - Pgs.260-262 VS

Her armor can resist bolter and stormbolter fire at short ranges. Something Space Marine Power Armor struggles to do and fails to do in most cases. She also, of course, pulled a Batman and disappeared not only as they were firing at her, but she disappeared so suddenly that the ancient veteran Cyrion could, and would not, believe she had done so.

So, not only is she incredibly fast, so stealthy Space Marines can't find her, but her armor is just as good as their Power Armor despite being 1/3rd (more like 1/5th) the size. Eldar, their technosorcery knows no bounds.

Plan of Attack

As the Ghost are fighting the Commandos, Jain Zar is going to do what Jain Zar does. Rolfstomp everything in her path. Disappearing in and out of view as she stalks the heavily urban map, reaping whomever gets in her way. The first to taste her blade will be the two Tactical Marines, sweep in, strike them down then disappear to finish off the Commandos before coming back for Sarpedon. Jain Zar, herself, could very, very, very likely handle both groups without assistance. Adding in Nova and Kerrigan is just gravy. Who knows? Maybe after this she will take them into training to become Howling Banshees.

@sirfizzwhizz Your turn.

Whatever, I feel bad for ME. Whatever, though. I will make my reply.

Yes. If I am going to face a battle up to my standards, I prefer you use a Phoenix Lord. I feel bad using Sarpedon otherwise.

@wut: Sarpedon was soley for Nova and Kerrigan, who Omega Squad can take on. Originally it was Srpedon and Tacs vs Kerrigan and Nova. I never made the desicion with Predators or Clone Troopers. It's you and me now. No reason soloing fodder Terminators matter to Sarpedon who can do the same honestly. Lets argue it fellow 40k nerd. I to hold Mark of the Librairan in Heresy-Online for my 40k knowledge. Let's rumble.

@wut: really? Maybe I am confusing you for someone else on here who told me they are Heresy/DakkaDakka regular. Whateves, you should check it out. Good site for all things games workshop, though more 40k oriented like Dakka Dakka Forums.

Talon would get decimated by Sarpedon who has way better feats, without back up half the time, than Talos. I love the Night Lords Omnibus, but comparing Talos to Sarpedon? Hell no. Just bring it mate.
