Modern Superman still seems far from being Silver Age level. He can barely move a planet while SA Superman could breathe and move a sun which has a mass hundreds of thousands of times greater than a planet's. SA Superman also withstood being hit by quasars, quasars are said to have more power than galaxies. Modern superman gets knocked out by supernovas. Don't get me wrong, modern Superman is incredibly powerful but he is still no where near SA Superman's level.
