I like Nova but Its hard to say. Sentry seems to have more at his disposal but like Nova.

I'd say Sentry slightly. Nova has better defense, but Sentry has better everything else.

With sheer over-whelming 'power of a billion exploding suns' power. Sentry is at least as powerful as the Silver Surfer and when Nova confronted the Surfer he was dispatched effortlessly.
It probably wouldn't be any different here.

Sentry never proved that he is that powerfull. His best feat are fights against Photon and The Collective. But I wouldn't say that he showed there enough power to destroy a solar system.

I'm probably going to go with Nova on this one. I've never been that impressed with Sentry, and while he might outclass him, Nova has shown sheer steely will and determination against superior opponents and overwhelming odds. One example being against Annihilus who possessed the Quantum Bands and the Cosmic Control Rod. He ripped Annihilus' guts out from his mouth. Nova also has great defenses and Worldmind on his side.

@czarny_samael: 'The Galactus Event' blast actually busted several solar systems and was said to not even be slowing down, but yeah.

That is just something Thing said... It's not true. Sentry wins this, but its only because Nova will not run forever. Nova can keep Sentry away with his shields, but not forever, he will face Sentry and he will lose. On a side note, I like Nova a heck of alot more. Sentry just has more tools to use, is all.

1.I know, but Sentry can't destroy even one Solar System, so it doesn't matter here.
2.Annihilus losed QB in start of that battle.

What Sentry feats suggest to You that he can take blast that was able to give a problems to Sphinx with two Ka' Stones? Sentry can't take such a powerfull shot or destroy Nova's shields. Even normal Nova centurion can block such a powerfull beings like Xenith in their gravimetric fields and Sentry don't seem to be as strong as she was.

Written up to their power standards nova loses badly but sentry is a nut case as i doubt he'd really get outta the box before nova ko'd him .

Depends on what level the Sentry is at the time, but if it's standard Nova he gets mauled.

Noticing that nobody saying Nova would win is giving any explanation.I think it's plainly obvious that Nova doesn't stand much of a chance against Sentry.

Sentry can't take Nova's blasts and he can't break his shields, so yes it is obvious that Nova Prime wins. Not too mention that it iwas already explained. I don't know how did You missed that.

Nova Prime take shots from Galactus and a amped Sphinx.......he should be able to handle Sentry, with or without Void!

1.I've never seen anything on Solar busting level from him. Nova was able to use his power to hold Sphinx, take Galactus' Rage and even force fields from rookie Nova Centurion (his younger brother) were able to hold Xenith. Sentry's energy projection was never shown to be in par with Galactus' Rage and he don't seem to have Ego's durability or power equal to Sphinx with two Ka Stones (point of this battle was that Sphinx, with all his power, was unexperienced with using 2 Ka Stones in any other way then simple energy projection, but it showed us that full Nova Force can mach such an energy level).
His shields also were able to knock off Revengers, as Annihilus and evil Quasar attacks.

When did Nova bust a solar system? And why does Sentry's energy projection matter? He barely uses it...Also Sentry's energy projection may not have been shown to be at a very high level but his physical attacks and energy absorption have.What's to stop Sentry from absorbing Nova's energy?

3.IDK any examples of Sentry absorbing any energy besides his fight with Human Torch (which was a showing of Sentry's afraid of hurting people around him and was close to be PIS).

1.I don't see how this changes anything (assuming that You're right).
2.So You're saying that Annihilus' and Xenith's strength isn't comparable to Sentry's? I highly disagree, a specially that Sentry's best strength feats are fights with Void, Blue Marvel, Collective and WWHulk. Xenith fought with Gladiator (which isn't suprising to mee) and IIRC also with Thor or BRB (in "Star Masters" but I am not giving everything for that). Annihilus already was throwing around Thor, Quasar and unexperienced (with full NF) Nova.
3.As I remember that fight - Photon was the one who was absorbing energy that Sentry was shooting at him.

How are we assuming this is Nova Prime? Im pretty sure it says nothing about Prime/Phallanx in OP.
