Ares is the weak link, he's goes first and hard, then Sentry gets double teamed, not that either Superman or Shazam can't take him on their own ;-) (i'm assuming this is Shazam as in the new Capt Marvel)

Superman could solo. Shazam could solo. Ares is powerfull...but he's a weak link, and would probably get one shoted. Sentry is powerfull & stuff, but he is way less powerfull than any character in team 2.

Sentry could beat either IMO, but Ares is too much of a weak link here; so Team wins for sure.

All absurd arguments above, show me some feats of shazam actually doing something useful besides being used as a plot device to degrade supes every now and then.

all superman and shazam can do is to punch their opponents..... not only have their worse striking feats than thor and world war hulk, who were ineffective against the sentry / the void, but the sentry also has insane levels of self regeneration so even if superman and shazam manage to inflict some damage, that won't bother the sentry and he will simply reform..... you have to understand that sentry having the durability he has and on top of that being able to regenerate from a skeleton or from a mashed potato brain in seconds surpasses all the offensive output superman and shazam bring to the table........ additionally to that they have absolutely no chance against not only sentrys planetary level+ energies, but also his trans level+ molecule manipulation...... if the molecule man can't keep his molecules together against the sentry, then neither supermans and shazams base level durability is going to protect them against it......

Either of Team 2 could solo.
