Secret Avengers. With Nova and Valkyrie, you have two very decent powerhouses right off the bat, but with Domino and her luck powers, ArchAngel bein' who he is, this might be fairly close. Still say the Secret Avengers win.

Nova can''t be a part of this

He is used for stellar issues

And he would make it a stomp

With him gone and Warpath added to XForce

This would be a greart battle

Would give it to Avengers

In one of the earlier days of X-Force. I used to scans of the fight. I realize War Machine's armor has been upgraded since, but he does not have a chance of soloing this.

I didn't mean to insinuate that he would. But between Domino's luck effect, Archangel, and X-23 I don't see him soloing. You can make the thread and see what happens if you want.

@jayskee: More often than not her luck doesn't fail, and both Archangel and X-23 can move fast enough to dodge his weapons. He could try ramming them at full speed, but Warren can fly at super sonic speeds while still maintaining full maneuverability. Either of them can pierce his armor (claws and feathers), and both of them will kill.

But it has been stated in the Official handbooks, IIRC, and on panel that he can.

Nova actually is a Non-issue here. Cypher is in this version of x-force and he could take over the WorldMind computer with ease. Possibly convincing it to give the nova powers to him. Nova Powered Cypher would be an Epic Win. X-23, Cable, and Wolverine could take out Valkyrie. But If Cable just for goes holding back the Techno organic virus, He would Stomp Valkyrie with is Telekinesis. Domino can take Black Widow. Wolverine would own Beast. Ant-Man, would be spotted by Cable's telepathy and taken out, without effort. WarMachine and Archangel would be a good fight. Moonknight vs x-23, in skill he'd beat her, but her healing factor edges him out for her to pull off a win.

That was an issue in the early 20's of X-Force, Cable was not in that fight, it was when he was dead after the X-Cutioner's Song, and they were dealing with what to do with Greymalkin.

How much clearer does it need to be: You said that Cable took War machine in the early days of X-Force. I pointed out when that fight happened and the fact that Cable was not even in that fight.

How could Cable and War Machine fight if Cable wasn't in the fight? Sorry, I'm a little confused by this

@chiq: @Skaddix: I don't really read Wildstorm, I'm not familiar with Tao. But since Cypher, was resurrected by T/O virus (which he actually overwrote) his powers to communicate with machines along with his ability to interpret everything as a Language, already makes him the most dangerous. In Age of X he was able to even read nonverbal body language even when people were not moving at all and seemingly dead. With his interactions with Computers, he has been shown to completely override a computer that was trying to take over his body of alien origins, and He was able convince computers when him and X-force traveled to the future to stop Bastion's Mass production. He convinced a Exosuit to turn on it's human occupant, then Stopped the Master mode.

All cypher would really have to do his take to the worldmind which he could do, is there a possibility that Nova could take him out before he did, yea but it's highly doubtful. He was able to counter cannonball and able to factor his flight path before taking on the New Mutants in Melee. So it's highly probably that Cypher could shut Nova down, or take him out of the fight completely. If Nova simply has cosmic powers and didn't rely on the worldmind than Cypher would be a nonfactor.

Depends on what Cable has access to. If he has the tech he had circa Civil War then he could give Nova a good fight. Otherwise I would recommend running the flark away.

What technology did he have? Because this must be some impressive as technology if it lets him go up against Nova.

He had a gravimetric sheath that he could use to simulate his telekinesis, on a level that allowed him to protect a city from a nuclear bomb. He can body-slide and indefinite distance at will (teleportation), and he does has reliable control over that. And he has access to the "info-net", which simulate his telepathy. He can hook other people in to the info-net forcefully to effectively mind-rape them.
