Shaw knocked out Colossus when he was a teen and made his nose bleed simply by touching his nose. If Colossus was putting the hurt on Shaw, he can knock out almost anyone.

I wont deny he has potential to build up to the point of being able to take Terry, but as i said and i know you said if he had prep its a possibility, but i believe Terry's tech and his suit's durability to blunt trauma is enough to beat Shaw, he took a punch from Big Barda right in the face and he flew across the room and bashed against the computer wall and he got up ok and she was able to hold up half a destroyed skyscraper from collapsing in on itself with her mega rod on one side and she held up the other, and he was making smart remarks to Bruce when Micron stepped on him when he grew to the size of a skyscraper. His blunt force resistance in the suit is pretty high
I checked Shaw's page on here and it didn't make any mention of any immunity to gases so judging by Terry's abilities with his suit he most definitely wins.

yeah i guesses so. this shaw-immunity-to-all-gases stuff is a sham!
I think Terry would win. Without knowledge of Shaw's ability to absorb his strikes and amp his strength and endurance once Terry realized that Shaw isn't going down he will use another form of attack. Knock out gas should work.
