I searched for this and couldn't find it, and thought it might be a pretty good match-up. Can the Abomination deal enough damage to break Shaw's limits, or will Shaw prove to be too powerful.

Rules:

1. KO, Death, Incap for the win

2. Start 25 meters apart

3. Have knowledge of one another (general knowledge)

4. Random Encounter, no prep

5. In character

I think Abomination is too much for Shaw, Shaw has never absorbed someone on his level so there really is no evidence to suggest he could

Shaw can only take in so much energy... and thus max out inn strength. which wouldnt be much closer to Abominations

Shaw came away with some bruises fighting Colossus. A-Bomb should take this with some effort.

Shaw will get too overloaded and be killed in a fight against the abomination. His strength is too vast for his energy absorption abilities to handle

This speaks a lot about you. In Shaw's argument, he did take hits from Colossus, who was holding back, granted. But Shaw can absorb a good amount and amp himself if time allowed it before the fight starts. Not saying he wins though, but i think an argument can be made.

Doesn't Shaw require already absorbing some kinetic energy before he can take class 100+ hits? I mean even if he did survive a hit from Abomination, he would be suffering from internal bleeding and many broken bones, just from the impact alone. Let alone what building he is sent flying into. Though in Avenger's Academy Shaw said he could absorb any form of energy, though kinetic is most effective. So I guess if he manages to get into a large electrical outlet and is able to convert all that energy into strength and durability, he might have a chance.

Classic Abomination was a two to three hundred tonner, possibly more, given how easily he slapped around Hulk and noselled everything Banner threw at him. I'd also say that Abomination is proportionately more durable than Hulk but has a slower healing factor to compensate. That being said, I don't see Shaw surviving Blonsky pulling him in half or punching him so hard in the torso so hard that the entirety of his chest cavity goes flying out his back.
