@kgb725: no they don't Doom had time travel and years prep against Onslaught and he was just as ineffective as Reed was with prep against Onslaught, the mutants here only serve to make him more powerful. Apoc also was nothing to Onslaught with prep and a plan involving Cable.

Truth be told the only mutant on Earth Onslaught thought was a threat was the only mutant Gamemaster and Xavier saw as a threat... Jean Grey.

@bronze_surfer: hardly the UN Is an aspect of Galactus meaning its not more powerful than Big G. Franklin is a decent match for Galactus, and Onslaught has Franklins powers, plus Nate and Mags and Xavier.

@lordofallhumans: The UN is a device that is far more powerful than galactus. Yes it is like him as his heart is but that only applies to him being able to take it from Abraxas. Galactus is weaker than Abraxas and Eternity. The UN killed both. The UN restarted the Multiverse. The UN was a big enough threat to get galactus to high tail it out of there. Onslought has the powers of kid franklin. Galactus is on par with Adult Franklin. Galactus killed a celestial and then was losing. Adult Franklin killed a celestial and then started to lose untill he resurected Galactus.

@bronze_surfer: if the UN is an aspect of him as stated on panel then there is no way it is more powerful all that means is the bulk of his power is in it. Kid Franklin and adult Franklin only differ in potential not actual power, Onslaught was able to tap the full spectrum of young Franklins power, so your point is moot. Stop bringing up adult Franklin as a gauge for young frank as the older needed the power of the younger.

@lordofallhumans: Chaos King was an aspect of Oblivion. Who was more powerful? IIRC he found the device later on he did not in fact create it. No one knows who created it. It is just as much apart of him as his heart. But regardless it has shown better than him. Being able to kill Eternity, Abraxas, Galactus, Alternate more powerful Galactus ect. Adult Franklin has had much more time to train with his abilites. Not to mention I am not so sure about that him being the same power. But again regardless. UN has killed much more powerful beings. All of whom, surpass a psychic entity.

@bronze_surfer: Oblivion is more powerful, once Ck was called a mere aspect. Just like most if not all aspects of a whole is not greater than what they come from. The UN used to be of unknown origins until it was stated to be just an aspect of Galactus. So lets pretend for one moment Reed does get the UN, Onslaught is not only a powerful telepath with Frankie and Nate he can see the future and manipulate time. They're prep is useless against him.

@bronze_surfer: exactly in character Onslaught wins because he already did with many of these people in character with prep.

I really want to say Onslaught but Reed could do a lot with a week prep so it could go either way

Dr. Doom was weaker in his older version that traveled to the future to do this. He tried to siphon Onslaught's power, wasn't able to and was blasted back into his timeline. Current Doom is stronger, smarter, better with magic, and more powerful I believe.

I read that Apocalypse's plan with Cable was to take Franklin out of Onslaught to weaken him when they went into the astral plane, and it was working, but his mother suspected Apocalypse was there to kill him and interrupted, and Onslaught got away.

The characters who fought him last time weren't working in conjuction with each other. Reed did something on his own, Doom was separate, and Apocalypse was separate. Their minds and resources are all working together this time.

Doom once partially succeeded in taking Hyperstorm's powers, and could possibly harness a portion of Gamesmaster's omnipathic power like he did the Silver Surfer. Dr. Doom could tailor his doombots to mimic the powers of the heroes who did well against him before, and Apocalypse can further empower them like his horsemen. If Doom got them into the astral plane, Apocalypse's previous plan could work again. Doom also has magic at his disposal.

Reed could build a machine that exponentially amplifies Havok and Scott's energy projection, and Johnny's nova/plasma manipulation, to blast him into the Negative Zone. If Reed could get his hands on the Nullifier, that would help as well.

What do you think of the scenario? Does it seem viable?

Doom, Reed and Apocalypse, all working together with a week of prep could pull off the win.

Using the team here, Apocalypse would first make the Summers Boys and Johnny into Horsemen, Reed would outfit them with devices that could massively increase their powers and Doom could cast a few offensive spells and send in some Doombots for backup/distraction.

This would be fun to see in the comics actually. Hickman/Remender, make it happen!

I don't think they can take down Onslaught while he has Franklin's powers, so they will have to neutralize that first, along with the reserve of power Nate Grey offers.

Also not sure if Scott, Johnny, and Alex are willing to let themselves be turned into horsemen.
