I think Kaine's lack of Spider Sense, and no resistance to Hypnosis seals the deal. Morbius is a match for Peter Spider Man, beating Peter a few times. Not seeing Kaine winning when he has less going for him.
Well if we are using Kaine at the time this thread was made he had resistance to Carrion possessing him so hypnosis might not work:
