Satele Shan vs Darth Krayt

Grandmaster of the Jedi Order vs The Ruler of The One Sith. Random encounter, both in character. Fight takes place on the fields of Alderaan, specifically where Satele fought Malgus. No outside help.

-This is Krayt at the time of his death, equipped with two lightsabers, and the latest version of Satele with her regular lightsaber.

Win by death or KO/incapacitation, who wins?

Satele seems faster to me, but as for who is more powerful, that's more difficult to determine. I'd probably give it to Satele, but Krayt is more skilful so he could get the edge.

@shootingnova: So you'd give Satele the edge in Force powers?

@thevivas: Maybe. That is Krayt's forte, and he is fairly underrated in that area whereas Satele tends to be overrated.

@shootingnova: Lol can't argue with that assessment. So this could be a split? I'm not that familiar with how good Satele is in lightsaber combat, other than she was holding her own against Malgus for a time.

@thevivas: She's also fought evenly with Darth Mekhis and Darth Baras, but both showings were before her prime (in fact, all of those showings including fighting competitively with Malgus were prior to her prime), but within the period of her prime, she doesn't have any skill feats, to my knowledge.

Satele. Blocked a lightsaber with her bare hand

Not the best thing to bring up because that showing required her maximum effort and she conceded in The Journal of Gnost-Dural (IIRC) that she was saved by Jace and was about to die before hand. That, and Krayt has a second lightsaber to utilize against her.

But then, that was a showing that occurred years before her prime.

I think Krayt takes a majority. Shan has only stalemated Baras and Mekhis <--featless. While Shootingnova would assert that Wyyrlok and the knights were fodder, he blitzed 4 knights simultaneously which is a greater feat of speed than anything I've seen from Shan. For strength Krayt has punched holes through Abeloth iirc, held a guy with one arm, whereas, Shan was buckling under Malgus's strength. He is more skilled in force abilities with abilities like Dark transfer which is a OHKO technique.

Would be a good fight.

Probably Satele.
