Are you serious? this is a stomp in favor of Sasuke, all these mismatch Fairy Tail vs Naruto fights are ridiculous.

Grey has this ONE rule of thumb magic item beats normal item. Reasons why blood lust grey will have already ice speared sasuke before he could use any of his moves. With personality it would of been a curb stomp in sasukes favor

How is it a mismatch? A mismatch might be Naruto vs Lucy or Sakura vs Makarov, but Gray has pretty good reaction and could freeze sasuke amaterasu easily since he has freeze natsu flame and amaterasu has not shown to be that hot since karin survived it. He probaly can hold his own against susanoo, although he won't break anytime soon. I say sasuke win the majority due to susano, but Gray has decent chance due to sasuke stamina.

Can't a bloodlusted Grey just flash freeze Sasuke the instant the match starts?

I made this when Sasuke couldn't destroy a country XD, althoug to be fair Gray could Flash freeze maybe, perhaps, not really due to susanoo or teleporting, yeah currently is a mismatch, let me fix the op to be make it fair than.

While sharingan MAY be a necessity, Rinnegan is not.

Sasuke wins only because he has the susanoo and the Amatarasu the amatarasu is a cursed flame that will not extunigish untill the object/thing it touches turns in dust or destroyed so even if gray manages to freez it i am preety sure the amatarasu will burn Gray ice and the susanoo shell isnt that easy to break into either tsunaade needed her full 100 sealing formual jutsu to be able to break it and i am preety sure gray doesnt have that strong physical strenth but gray would put up a good fight
