2nd fight no sword/shield. Start 20 yards apart both fights.

Uhhh Cap should win in both rounds, but it would be close. Jack is metahuman level, and Cap is higher than that. The deciding factor is skill level, Jack is much more skilled in combat (in my opinion). Fighting opponents such as Cap.

Jack takes both rounds. The guys moves faster than Cap, can jump 20+ feet in the air and smashes with through bullet proof robots bare handed.

Cap is higher than a metahuman who can jump as high and fast as the hulk? Cap is higher than the same man who takes on entire armies? Cap is higher than a man who cuts through steel easily?(this was before his sword was amped to cut through adamantanium)

@boschepg: Then he will just take Cap's shield. He has the sufficient speed. Even without a weaopn, I'm sure blunt force can hurt Cap. Either way Jack wins.

If would be funny if Cap could beat Jack though.

That was my mind set. Even if the sword could cut him, I think Jacks speed is overrated.

Jack is the guy who can camouflage himself by using sunlight.

Jack curbstomp unless you count his sword not being able to hurt good beings (debatable if that even applies imo).

Ahh... But could it be that "normal" (i.e. American Idol watching, Chee-Toes eating) members of the Human Race in the DC and/or Marvel Universe may start off with a higher baseline as to their physical stats and durability? If so, then this would explain why a seriously dedicated to exercise and training version of one of those people in their respective universe(s) can produce the feats they are capable of, seeing as how they'd start off a little bit ahead of us before P90X® and Karate classes kick in for them.

Just a theory of course, but I'm sure that you can see the correlation I'm making right?

@heraldofganthet: There's is nothing that shows normal humans in DC/Marvel to have a higher baseline that I can tell but some do get to Olympic, peak, etc in a relatively short amount of time by our standards. I see what you're getting at though. Most people would just call it PIS and be done with it. XD

This. I married a 2 time CIAA Women's track champion and I know that she'd been running competitively since the 5th grade, all through high school, and THEN on to four more years of college before hanging up her track shoes. That's years of watching what you eat, making time for training when everybody else is partying/getting drunk/getting laid, and sweat equity in the weight room. By contrast, most comic book "normals" can get after it (physically) like a fanatic, and in 2 months to a year's time end up putting Usain Bolt to shame out there in the 100 yard dash.

So I feel you in terms of your skepticism, but these comic book "normals" (not including those individuals like Captain America, Deathstroke and his daughter Rose, Black Widow, and Fleur de Lis who get a significant boost to the front of the line via the ingesting of some random serum/undergoing some procedure), but they'd have to have some degree of superiority over us at least in terms of their ability to gain and retain such comprehensive training and/or physical conditioning in the short spans with which that they accomplish it. It's that last sentence that I assume made ProtocideWAYYY stronger than the very strong Captain America, considering that McIntyre was already a true specimen in terms of his sheer muscularity even before ingesting the SSS, unlike Steve Rogers who gained a Mr. Olympia-level physique only after taking the Serum. Dude was Steve Urkel's white counterpart before that happened, so Protocide ended up being a Super-Duper Soldier after getting the SSS since he probably already looked like a top level boybuilder before he even got there (*hehehe*).

Like I said, just food for thought. But I think that I'm on to something, as well as explaining why so many skilled athletes/martial artists that I KNOW are out there don't don capes and fight crime out here in our world. Hmm....

I don't think peak human means the same thing in the Jack universe as it does in Marvel

Jack has trained in all manner of hand to hand combat, ranged combat, horseback, sailing, etc meaning he's pretty much a master of the arts of combat.

Jack can easily jump 20+ feet in the air and in some instances much more.

Jack defeated several bounty hunters by himself at the same time before a drop of water could fall 7 feet and hit the ground.

Jack cuts through metal like butter and when he fought adamantium he got his sword blessed to be even more powerful and he cut through adamantium.

Jack has lifted incredibly heavy objects such as large wooden pillars, large boulders, and even large metal monsters and even if he has difficulty lifting them he's far beyond any normal human as far as lifting strength goes.

Jack has fought nearly endless hordes of monsters for hours on end by himself and although he takes wounds he still fights for hours and hours without break and comes out victorious every time.

Jack fought Aku in hand to hand combat and wrecked him even without his sword.

Jack has parried blows against a massive being made of hardened lava and eventually beat him.

Jack has the ability to go completely invisible in solid sunlight when he wears his outfit like a ninja.

Jack obliterates Cap and he doesn't even need his sword to do it.

Jack had a 500ton sumo wrestler drop on him, he lifted him and escape without any scratch.
