I go with nappa being a sayian who is use to taking a heavy beating and is able to use energy manipulation and his temper and fighting skills help.plus he is fast.

DBZ characters dont reach true planet busting status until the Cell games

During the buu saga the only way dbz characters can destroy planets is with giant attacks charged with alot of energy

Sailor Galaxia destroyed a planet by pointing at it
