I'd like to say every character has them, but more so every character is hyped beyond belief on these boards, Odin is no exception and neither is the guy that was regularly depicted really susceptible to magic he is fighting here.

I was thinking the same thing too, but I just wanted to clarify. Although a few things to bear in mind:

• This was just after Odin's Resurrection, what level of power he is even at given the lack of an Odinsleep is a bit questionable.
• In the actual fight itself when he was taking some damage / on the ropes, he suddenly sees Thor and seems completely fine, so I don't even know if Odin was really all that phased at this point.

Odin since then has gotten considerably more powerful again or said items themselves had a bit more merit, even if they ultimately didn't seem to stop him from brutally killing their anti-all father themed world eater.

Was this in journey into mystery, because I don't remember that happening in Fear Itself. Regardless, the Destroyer armor and the Odinsword are quite a different beast than just Odin himself. Nobodies with the Destroyer have mopped the floor with Thor and Odin in it was actually able to cleave through Celestials, which are quite a few leagues beyond SA Superman. Doesn't help that recent showings have the Destroyer+Odin potentially being able to give a fight to Galactus if need be.

I dont know man, I've never really seen anyone being irrational about Odin like I had Supes or many many other characters, but, I suppose maybe there's just less or I haven't seen as many.

I've heard it debated both ways to be honest and I'm more inclined to believe Mxy had something to do with him sneezing away solar systems rather than his Super breath being that powerful(SA Superman was ridiculous but that's just downright stupid imo).

This is what happens when Magic is used on SA Superman. Notice the speed used to leave earth to and find a dead solar system. And yes of course Odin can do what Mxy has failed to do with his magic against SA Superman. Prince your argument is simply denying evidence. well superman can destroy solar systems by sneezing right, a funny feat. A fraction of the full Odin force is able to create new ones, he bust galaxies, and for people who it is always complaining about the world eater arc, after odin failed, he pass his soul to the destroyer armour and Galactus was like "shit this is pretty bad" if people is going to use that argue you must have to read the whole arc and put all the pieces in place.
