Asura the Destroyer for the win... but I actually think Silver Age Superman could challenge him... I mean this dude sneezed a Solar System away... his Strikes should generate way more force than that.
This is an interesting match, because both of these characters are essentially personified PIS. Asura beat the creator of a universe with nothing but punches and SA Superman...well we all know about him. My money is on SA Superman, he's WAY faster and has more durability.
SA Superman accomplished way more and better feats then Asura has, SA Superman literally broke the barriers of time, space and the universe thus why the Spectre had to stop him because he was entering the realm of God at that point...

First, Chakravartin was the God of Mantra not God. Second, he was the overseer of Gaea, which is basically Earth. Third, the fight between Asura and Chakravartin had some CIS involved because Chakravartin was a reality warper but never used that ability on Asura. In any event, the full extent of Chakravartin's power was never revealed or explored; his highest showings put him somewhere above star level+ in terms of actual destructive capacity. We know he's stronger than that, but not to what extent.

1. Please provide evidence that Chakravartin was not GOD in the Asura Wrath Universe because everything suggest that he was.
2. Often times even in Christianity or Judaism, Yahweh is seen as the overseer or ruler of Earth. Yet he is considered the creator of everything.
3. Chakravartin in his final form is called The Creator... only GOD usually goes by this terminology. Especially in this context.
4. There has to be CIS involved because we are talking about someone beating The Creator. There is all kinds of PIS involved with SA Superman so I don't see the point here anyways.
5. Chakravartin is supposedly The Creator... so his power has to be at least Universal.
PC-60's supes was the one doing the crazy stuff. Toned down a bit in the 70's which was the Silver Age if I recall. Then they retconned everything in the 80's and made Post-Crisis.
Also, Chakravartin created Gaea and apparently numerous other worlds. He wanted a "successor" to take over and rule over the domain of Gaea so he could go do stuff on the other worlds he created. Chakravartin is the Source of all Mantra. His power is infinite. However, Asura's power grows infinitely and it seemed Chakravartin is incapable of cutting Asura off from the power that he radiates throughout the cosmos.
Chakravartin is a Creator God, but nothing there showed he created the Universe. Still, Asura is ridiculously powerful. I call him the Hindu Hulk. He'll just keep getting stronger and stronger and stronger the madder he gets.
@King Saturn, asura never defeated God creator of all in his universe, he defeated a god of something but that's not the same as beating the creator of everything. If what you say is true, proof? Otherwise will still go sa supes here considering his feats
Silver Age Superman is ridiculously powerful but I believe Asura will crush him after a bloody and crazy fight that shakes the entire universe. Asura took on a god who rules over Naraka and who is a high end reality warper he was able to defeat him with brute force alone, and he was able to resist Chakravartin`s time manipulating abilities.
Pre-Crisis Superman on average would be around is at least on par with the Asura before the DLC. Anything after the Final Chapter is beyond SA Superman unless your talking about high end Silver Age Supes.
@king_saturn: just because chakravartin created universe and is called the creator doesn't mean he's omnipotent. And iirc he himself said that there were beings more powerful than him. There are far more powerful beings that created universe but still aren't omnipotent such as WE,great will,yhvh,brahman etc. And on the topic didn't sa superman tanked universal destruction? And asura doesn't have that kind of dc. At best he is multi galaxy buster.
