Team 2 FTW, but it's not the curbstomp many seem to think. Fate at lower levels than peak SA has held out against Spectre twice (for a while) He's also beaten mages who have beaten Spectre.. Classic Strange has matched beings on the level of, and slightly above Galactus.

I have to seriously question how you come up with that. SA Fate and Classic Strange are about equal in power based on showings (there's so little in it it would be hard to call either way). If one of them was going to die how would it be the one who is invulnerable and immortal. In fate's origin he was altered by Nabu on a molecular level to be super strong, fast and impervious as well as immune to mortal harm and aging. His only physical weakness was his need to breath, which with the helmet and his mystical powers disappears. "

Strange had better feats like Beating Gorath twice even though he had prep Beat Galactus Had LTs respect beat Death  "

Remember seeing one Dr. Fate getting stuffed into a pocket dimension of his helmet before it was squashed shut by the Spectre during the Infinite Crisis tie in, may not be silver age but result is the same.

SA Fate had feats to match those. He defeated and matched beings who had defeated the Spectre (Zor and Kulak). He stalemated the Spectre twice.  He defeated Ynar and Vandeamon alliance which actually successfully altered reality to make all the other powers (except Fate) cease to exist. So I still don't get how you think he's going to die. Especially when omnipotents couldn't kill him because of his immorality.  Not that it alters the outcome of this battle, team 2 still wins "
