While runner can very easily destroy his armor, i dont see how he would contend with his energy self. Also i think its better if you actually explain which onslaught, for the orginal onslaught saga, from Onslaught reborn which one, and which mutants power does he control. Because at his best he had, although very limited, control of X-man and Franklin Powers, the latter of which power should be sufficient would give Runner a heart attack :p
