Rune King Thor has no feats that come close to being as impressive as Arishem tanking the best combined blow Odin, Vishnu and Zeus could muster.

That really comes across as PIS. Regular Thor cracked Exitar Armour, whom is supposed to be superior to the entire Fourth Host.

Does this mean Regular Thor > Odin?

Exitar fixed his armor almost immediately. Exitar also had antibodies within him that were giving Thor a hell of a time.

Skyfathers are ants compared to Celestials, and Rune King Thor is supposed to be twice as powerful as Odin, which would make him still an ant to a celestial.

@pr0d1gy: cracking exitar's armor did nothing to exitar. in fact, upon entering exitar, exitar's antibodies were giving him hell.

There's something wrong with that logic.

An amplified Odin is implied to be several times stronger then regular Odin, whom was stated to be 'Galactus tier' in the panel before the scan above'; whom summarily is inferior to the 'Entire', not 'one Celestial', but the 'Entire Fourth Host', who are much weaker then Exitar or other high ranking Celestials.

Point being, Regular Thor cracked his Armour.

Your logic makes a mess of the hierarchy.

An amplified RKT [to a higher degree then Odin was when he fought the fourth host], should be many, many times stronger then Odin was when he stood his ground.

If Odin could swat a few in half, then I could see this RKT being strong enough to go the extra step.

Odin managed to chop off one Celestials arm. The arm then grew back, and the Celestials one-shot shit stomped him. This was Odin with 1,000 years prep, and he still couldn't kill a single celestial before he himself was obliterated.

Rune King Thor was stated as double Odin due to the fact that he performed all of Odin's feats twice over. He gouged out both of his eyes, hung himself from Yggdrasil twice as long etc.

Rune King Thor's best feats are blinking Mangog out of existence, and defeating Those who Sit Above in Shadow, a bunch of featless cosmic beings, with high implied power. He has no feats that put him anywhere near Arishem. This is a curb stomp for the Celestial.

@pr0d1gy: your point makes no sense. you are focusing on the fact that thor cracked exitar's armor when it didn't matter to exitar. the armor was healed and his antibodies were giving him hell. while odin in the destroyer would have been amped, it didn't matter that it took one hit from a 4th host celestial to stagger him.

all the prep odin and his other skyfathers had didn't kill one of the celestials, why would RKT with amps and one year prep would fare any better on the leader of the 4th host ?

The only possible argument for Rune King Thor is the "Celestials have been nerfed" argument, which has some merit, but is hard to prove.

The scan directly states the combined might of the Fourth Host was superior to an amplified Odin whom is superior to normal Odin, whom was implied to be around Galactus tier. Which implies:

Fourth Host >>>> Amplified Odin >>>> Galactus > Regular Odin

Let alone a version of Thor whose at the lowest, 2x stronger then Odin an then amplified to a higher degree.

He should ROFL a lower level Celestial.

Exitar is regarded as high level Celestial, Arishem isn't.

That, and the Fantastic 4 arc where Galactus and Franklin Richards were able to team up and defeat the Mad Celestials. Celestials were originally stated as head and shoulders above the existing cosmic pantheon. They now seem to be more on the same level as Galactus/ the In-Betweener etc.

Funny. Amplified Odin just lost decisively to Galactus during Matt Fraction's Thor run.

@pr0d1gy: odin in destroyer armor is not stronger than galactus and there's zero indication that he would match galactus. odin didn't do anything lasting damage to galactus, odin in destroyer armor would just make odin last longer.

you are overestimating. RKT would only be stronger than odin but an ant would still be ant compared to a celestial. arishem didn't even bother to help blast down odin in destroyer armor and all odin did in that form was cut off the hand of one of them (which regrew back easily.)

you are forgetting the fact that the skyfather team had a 1,000 years of prep. RKT with one year prep would be useless to that.

arishem is the leader of the 4th host. being the leader of such group implies greater power, just like one above all celestial or the fulcrum is the leader of the celestials.

Arishem still one-shot curbstomps RKT.

Odin wasn't amplified to the same degree. Also the previous scan regarding the scan above implies Regular Odin & Galactus are around the same power.

@pr0d1gy: Odin stood no chance against the celestials. The Odin in that arc was the strongest character to ever come out of Asgard. Even stronger than RKT. That Odin had the help of two other Skyfathers and he had all of the powers of Asgard, both present and past, and he was still ultimately swatted like a fly. The celestial will win this fight.

Cough. Rune King Thor is amplified further then Odin was back then. You cannot use that as a comparison for this thread. Rune King Thor has way better feats then an amplified Odin, he was merged with the Universe.
