If anything,he is a real bad ass but Logan managed to defeat him in the DC vs Marvel crossover so I guess I'll go with Rulk on this.

Crossover's aren't canon and Wolverine beating Logan has to be one of the most ridiculous things ever.
He's stalemated Superman like a billion times, and IIRC he's beaten Superman Blue who's a good amount stronger than regular Supes. He's also beaten the crap out Superman before Supes left. I don't see what Rulk can do to Lobo. His healing factor is so good that he was fighting as a skeleton, and grew back his organs and stuff. He's beaten Captain Atom, Captain Marvel, Dr. Fate, and Zatanna so he's should definitely, and I mean definitely be able to own Rulk. Brainiac has said that only Lobo can beat Lobo, so Rulk should go down rather easily.

Yeah, Lobo is pretty ridiculous (and by ridiculous, I mean awesome).
@TheAcidSkull: Did you know nothing about the main man before starting this? Superman beat Hulk before, and Hulk has beaten Red Hulk, and Lobo's beaten Superman, so by that logic than Lobo would win. Plus, Lobo is awesome.
I don't know much about lobo but from what I've heard I'm pretty sure rulk goes down (I hate rulk, he is just hulk with sun burn(I love hulk and I know he always put on sun cream)
Wow. This site is something else. Its like nobodys really sure what to say until somebody posts a very strong opinion either way and then everybody else just suddenly rushes in to agree with them. Even if they had previously disagreed, and in doing so freely admit they were voicing an opinion when they really had no idea one way or the other. Its probably for the simple reason that this site seems to have no concept of an "average showing" so as soon as someone mentions a high feat everyone assumes that this character has to be 10 times more powerful than the other guy. That only makes sense right?
Anyway. This fight is - again - not a curbstomp in favour of Lobo. Its a tough fight to judge since Lobo has ridiculous ups and downs for the simple reason that he is a joke character. He has indeed beaten up Superman back in his heyday and in turn been beaten up by Superman. He has been shot by regular bullets and hurt by a normal human hitting him with a sledgehammer. He varies tremendously from story to story and ones that feature him killing God or the Easter Bunny or Santa are about as silly as they sound. His healing factor has pretty much always been top notch though.
Anyway to a large extent this fight depends on which Lobo turns up. Even the high end Lobo isn't going to walk all over Rulk. In fact i would be tempted to heavily favour energy draining Rulk except for the fact that as far as i know theres not much evidence of Lobo having much of an energy source to drain. Still Rulk has drained all sorts including robots, Skyfathers, cosmic beings so it wouldn't be surprising to see him drain Lobo either. Apart from that they are pretty similar characters in a lot of ways. Anyway if Rulk can drain Lobo or another energy source he probably wins but if Lobo is high end here i think his ridiculous healing factor might give him the eventual nod.
Likely Lobo. I'd think, at his high end, he'd take down Rulk before Rulk could drain him to begin with (even if Rulk is able to.) The only thing consistent about Lobo is awesomeness, but he's typically able to toe to toe with some pretty high end powerhouses.
also why is everyone talking about the writer for red hulk when lobos writers did way worst Lobo possesses extraordinary strength of undefined limits. His strength, much like his other powers, varies greatly depending upon different artistic interpretations of various comic book writers. In some instances, he is depicted as being barely stronger than a human while, in others, he demonstrates physical strength on a similar level to Superman
