i typed out a scenario but it never showed up. i was thinking theyre both hunting and investigating each
other and trying to kill one another, but also do it in a way that doesnt blow their cover.

Oh im soooo torn on this one i gotta say Dexter though cause he has witty observational monologues running through his head

All I know is that if he fought the little kid it would be a curbstomp in favor of Dexter.

Rorschach... better at hand to hand combat.. He managed to hold his own against a large number of policemen before finally getting subdued. Dexter doesn't have feats to compare and we rarely (have we even once?) seen him hold out against multiple enemies in a face to face...

If Dexter gets his syringe then Rorschach gets his butcher's knife and grapple gun =)

In the comic, he beat a few SWAT guys by surprise with improvised weapons in the apartment. When he jumped out the window, he broke his ankle and got the crap beaten out of him without putting up much of a fight.

Rorschach is a terrible fighter.

@JediXMan: I doubt anyone could continue to fight with a broken ankle, i wouldnt say thats a bad thing that he lost, he still took out all those prisoners and was a vigilantie for many years, so yeah he was a good fighter.

Dexter has fought one Ex-Special Ops. Rorschach has held his own against an entire group of SWAT and was only apprehended after he was pinning one singular guy down in a fit of rage.

Well this is a little difficult. At the top of his game Rorschach fought and beat 6 guys at once. Thing is, this took place in Ozymandias' Before Watchmen story. From what we saw of Rorschach in his own Before Watchmen and in Watchmen, no way could he fight and beat 6 guys in only melee. However, he did put up a good struggle to some armored cops. Yes, just armored cops. Nothing indicates that they were an actual SWAT team.

Dexter might not have very good showings against numberous foes. I recall him getting beat up by 3 hired goons. But one on one, his skill is pretty damn amazing. Look at how he beat Doakes, or that Assassin in Ray Stevensons hotel room. And while he didn't win the direct fight, Dexter did give trouble to that steroided up monster man. That monster fought 4 cops at the same time, and did it with his bare hands. Keep in might Rorschach only accomplished what he did through improvised weapons.

From a logical standpoint, Dexter should win. 6 foot guy, very physically fit, trained in advanced ju jitsu > 5 foot guy, decently fit, trained in amateur boxing.

So I'm realizing that, 4 years ago, I only commented to spite Rorschach, because I knew nothing of Dexter at the time.

Having seen Dexter, however, I do think that Dexter wins.

After just having recently seen and read Watchmen, Dexter should win this.

Dexter, but this would be entertaining. Rorschach wins in a straight-up fight, though.

It's sad that I'm the only one who cares about this fight.

Well, considering Dexter's hyper intelligent A.I laboratory, I think that Dexter possess a greater defense if he's being the victim, I don't think that Rorschach would infiltrate Dexter's laboratory that easy since he doesn't know the laboratory at all, Dexter possess by far a better tech as well powerful weapons, both have a very high IQ, but in a h2h combat Rorschach would defeat him without doubts, however Dexter has more advantages at his side,

Dexter wins with mid to low diff.

Rorschach is bad, but he is not that bad.

He should win this low-mid difficulty.

I'd go with Live Action versions (It'd make for a better skill/choreography argument). Take stealth off the table (that be an instant win for Dex). And either make it H2H or Dex unarmed vs Dave with batons or Dex with knife vs Dave with his batons and armor. No need to bring in M99 or a taser......

How far did you get? I feel the need to rewatch cause I liked it so much.......but damn there's a lot of tv shows out there.
