@killerforhire: Feats for Darkman?
@venomoustaco: Just imagine Jason Voorhees as a genius without a healing factor.
@killerforhire: On paper, it seems like Darkman would win. Especially since he has random outbursts of adrenaline. However, if his emotions get involved, it becomes somewhat of a toss up. Rorschach could piss him off leading to a dead Rorschach, or Rorschach could make him cry leading to an easy win for Rorschach.
@killerforhire: Well IMO he's not really the type to push people's buttons. Unless you consider breaking pinkie fingers and dropping people from elevator shafts button-pushing (sounds more like button-mashing to me, lol — cue bad joke drum roll).

Good point. How good is Rorschach at pushing peoples buttons?
Edit: Although if Rorschach made him cry it would probably just turn into rage shortly after.
sorry i deleted my reply had to re-post.
@killerforhire: I guess. I'm not a Darkman expert or anything, so if you say so.
Regardless, Darkman should win a solid majority IMO.

Well you have to keep in mind that Rorschach's fighting abilities are far superior to Darkman's.

Good enough to subconsciously bring people to cowering fools
Brought a women to tears just by pointing out that she is a whore and has always been
Brought NiteOwl II into his own place of confusion about his quitting
Subconsciously deeply disturbed silk spectre II(might of just been him being inconsiderate though.
Made a man happy to get the "masked serial killer" question life itself. just by telling him the events that turned him into Rorschach
And he made all of earths remaining heroes believe that Adrian was killing of mask even though that wasn't even true. Just his hypothesis and everyone went with it.
Although fear factor is a significant factor in all his understanding
@killerforhire: Has Darkman had any form of training what so ever?
@venomoustaco: I don't think so, but he is pain resistant which gives him a strength boost.
@dimitridkatsis: I don't really think his lack of pain sensitivity will be a problem. Despite being just a regular guy, Rorschach's pain tolerance is very impressive. Although not immune to the effects of pain, I'd say the gap is close enough as to where it's not a major contributing factor.
The challenge here, IMO, lies in Darkman's adrenaline strength boosts (btw, is it random? Or is he always hopped up on adrenal roids?).
However, the deciding factor for me is Darkman's emotional state. If Rorschach can screw him up like sacredweapons suggested, Kovacs could conceivably win.
I'll hold off on my final decision till more information pops up.
@venomoustaco: Haven't seen the movie in a while, yeah he wasn't feeling pain or anything at all and thus had amped strength right? The adrenaline boost came when he was beat and pissed, Rorschach needs some serious skill to put him down. I'm gonna wait to see what others think too.
@dimitridkatsis: Not feeling pain and having amped strength are two very different things. From what I understand, his amped strength comes from the adrenaline coursing through his body.
@venomoustaco: @dimitridkatsis: I believe DM is always amped up on adrenaline which is the cause of his unpredictable fits of rage. As far as not feeling pain that only in his skin, broken bones, damaged muscle tissue, torn ligaments etc... he can still feel but his hyper adrenaline & rage state allows him to just push through it.
@killerforhire: IDK, I thought the character bio stated that his adrenaline came randomly since he could no longer feel the pain to bring it about naturally...
I'm gonna back up Rorschach, just for kicks.

I just looked it up & you are correct.
@killerforhire: Okay, Rorschach should take a solid majority then. Assuming Darkman's chance for have amped strength or regular stats is 50/50, Rorschach would easily take him 5/10 times. The other 5 (with amped strength) will prove difficult, but not impossible. Rorschach should take at least 2 wins out of those 5, especially when emotions are taken into consideration.
@killerforhire: Is Comicbook Darkman like the guy from the movies?
@killerforhire: Is Comicbook Darkman like the guy from the movies?
Yes.
@killerforhire: I saw the movies, never read the book. I guess I'll give it to Darkman, seems like he can get really strong when he is mad. It's really close though. Good Thread.
