What can RR do?
I pick Batman only cause I don't know much about RR.
I doubt Rocket would react faster than Spidey who dodge lasers, smg's and explosives anyday.
Rocket's a laser dodger too. I'm not claiming he has Spider-Man's reaction time, but he is at least a laser dodger.
I'm pretty sure I've seen threads for it, but I never was real into the Ratchet games, so I probably wouldn't have much of an opinion on the outcome of that battle. I'd check it out and see what everyone else thinks though.
Rocket. End of story. There is a thread for that and generally everyone decided rocket would beat spidey.

I'm re-reading a lot of old cosmic Marvel and working my way up to Marvel NOW. I'll be reading everything with Rocket Raccoon in the best chronological order I can. Every time I come across a cool feat, I'll add it
here.
Not a feat, but a cool scan to see his initial appearance in Marvel canon.
Starlord recruited Rocket Raccoon to the Guardians of the Galaxy to be the tactical and demolitions expert for the team. Starlord claims that Rocket Raccoon is the best strategist he has met in the entire universe. Rocket acts as either Second or First in command for the Guardians of the Galaxy depending on the roster and situation, but is always involved in strategy.
Here Rocket helps Hulk out by shooting over Hulk's shoulder to take out a robotic clown. This also shows off his rocket skates. The fast moving rocket skates make the shot that much harder. And look! Even the Hulk is impressed. lol.
If you look at the previous scan before they shot the ship, you can see how fast Rocket and Groot's ship was travelling. The ship they shot was able to catch up with them, so it must be a fast moving ship that they were able to shoot at that long of a range while traveling through space with jet packs. Look at their path from the jet pack too, they were flying in a swirling motion which would also make aiming more difficult.
This isn't what Rocket is known for, but he's not one to shy away from a fight, and there are a few occasions of him fighting without an unfeasibly large gun.
I don't have much to put here yet, but if you look above at one of my previous posts, you can see a pretty good showing of his melee ability against a wooden clown. (Clowns sure do hate Rocket)

Durability is not really something that defines Rocket. There is only going to be a few feats that can be pulled from this, because Rocket is such a smart and agile fighter, he never really gets hit.
Side note: I would love a Hulk and Rocket team-up miniseries. Hulk's issue is really what brought Rocket into the Marvel U. Hulk comics are also the reason Groot is at where he is today so it kind of seems fitting for a short series. Rocket and Hulk's banter would be hillarious, and I would love to see a Hulk vs Groot rematch.
Rocket is able to travel through space with a jet pack, perfectly time landing on a fast moving ship (see accuracy feats to see why it is fast moving), and keep himself steady enough to not slip off while landing. He was even steady enough to be able to aim his huge rifle at the pilot's head.
Rocket has some awesome equipment. This will be a constant work in progress
Rocket uses his rocket skates mostly in combat. He is able to move at high speeds. He even uses them to maneuver in fights while he is in space. He is able to change direction quickly and dodge enemy fire.
These are the weapons Rocket carries as sidearms to his heavier artillery.
It looks like Rocket modified his pistols at some point before his Marvel Now initial appearance
This one is able to put down a Templar of the Church of Universal Truth. These guys have put up a fight with Powerhouses like Gladiator, Quasar, Beta Ray Bill, Red Hulk, and Iron Man. Notice how even Starlord's Kree submachine guns won't hurt him, but one shot from Rocket is enough to put him out.
This gun packs enough punch to take out a space ship and a huge whole in a wall, and completely decapitate a robot. (This ended up being a simulated TV show, but it's revealed later that the vehicles and weapons were real).
Even though this one isn't quite as hefty as his other guns, it still looks like it packs a pretty big punch.
Blows the head off of a Phalanx creature
Strong enough to take out forces of the Negative Zone with ease
This thing packs enough punch to take out the Cancerverse Son of Satan from the Defenders
This thing puts a huge hole in the side of a Badoon ship
Rocket hijacks a ship, reverses the polarity of the tracking system so the ship is blind to even the Phalanx's systems, and uses the blowback of the ship's sub-space drive to kill off a bunch of Phalanx droids.
Rocket demonstrates that his ship is more advanced then both Iron Man's armor and a Quin Jet by being able to monitor Earth from across the Galaxy and being able to travel that distance in seconds. He then shows that his computer system takes files from every Authoritative Database in the Galaxy, so he has files on pretty much every individual and species in the Galaxy.
Rocket being a Raccoon and all, has a few senses that would be considered super human.
@tparks: What your opinion of the GOTG movie trailers?
@tparks: What your opinion of the GOTG movie trailers?
I think they look good. It might not be perfect, but it looks like they are respecting DnA's run with the Guardians to a pretty large extent. I mean, they even had Knowhere in the most recent trailer. The fact that they might be hanging out in a dead celestial's head makes me think that Marvel is taking some gambles and really going out of the box with this movie, which is exactly what DnA did when they revived the GotG team name. I try not to expect comic movies to be the same as the source material, and I'm sure the movie will take plenty of liberties, but I'm still looking forward to it actually.
I'm forcing myself to forget all the GotG stuff I've gotten into over the years, and just enjoy an interpretation of a team I enjoy, even if it turns out to have some drastic changes made to characters. Luckily it looks like any changes they are going to make are pretty understandable and forgivable.
@tparks: You think Deathstroke can take RR? He is the best military soldier on earth and can think like 9 times faster than any other human, he is also a tactical genius thanks to all the military training.
Add in his super strength, super speed and the bulletproof armor.
I think Slade can out think Rocket pretty easily.

I don't think he's going to out-think Rocket. When the Kree ran tests on him, he was found having one of the greatest tactical minds of all time. He has an ability to discover any positive outcome of any situation he is in. That's why he is able to think on the fly so intelligently.
This fight would depend on what gun Rocket has. If he is shooting one of his bigger cannons, he wins. Deathstroke may be a bullet timer, but he isn't dodging lasers with the radius of a semi truck being fired from a marksman like Rocket.
If it was just Rocket's laser pistols, then it would be much closer and could go either way.
That's the thing about Rocket, he can be in a street level tier, or upper mid-tier depending on his equipment.

Nope. Rocket wins again.
@tparks: But Slade is as well one of the best tactican on earth then you can add in the 90% thinking part which makes him 9 times superior to normal human beings in the way of tactical thinking.
@tparks: But Slade is as well one of the best tactican on earth then you can add in the 90% thinking part which makes him 9 times superior to normal human beings in the way of tactical thinking.
Slade knows tactics, that's for sure, but he's never displayed them on the level that the Guardians have had to. Not only did the Kree actually measure Rocket's brain and find that he is one of the best tactical minds in the universe, with an actual ability that makes him find the positive outcome of any situation, but he's on a team with Star-Lord that has called him the best tactical mind he's ever met. Star-Lord himself is a tactical genius, as he was the brains behind the rebellion against the Annihilation Wave, where they were outnumbered by the billions and facing cosmic level threats.
Star-Lord has also met and worked with characters like Reed Richards, Captain America, Tony Stark, Black Bolt, and Thanos. Thanos has a level of respect for Star-Lord because of his intellect that he does not give many other characters, and him and Star-Lord have worked together on a few separate occasions. Still, Star-Lord finds Rocket as the best tactical mind he's ever met.
Rocket's tactical mind is more then just descriptions though, he has the feats to back it up.

Batman got nothing on this!
Is he grabbing his...oh my...!
From what I've heard of Rocket Raccoon, he would beat Batman. Kinda a stomp if the gossip of him is legit.
Jmarshmallow
@leonkarlen123: HA! More like Bats gets blown to bits with Rocket's phasic cannon(the one he threatens Thanos with), the gun he used to one-shot a Templar from the Universal Church of Truth(beings that give Hulk and Adam Warlock trouble), or the gun that blew a Groot-sized cannon in a Badoon ship. Rocket ROFLLMFAOGODSTOMPS SO HARD THAT IT ISN'T EVEN FUNNY!
@the_rocketraccoon: Fanboy name incoming.
@leonkarlen123: Rocket still stomps...
@draciosv: If both have prep no, Batman can bring his suit he fought superman with and if RR have more power than Clark you show me.
@leonkarlen123: What suit? The dark knight? That one would get destroyed.
@draciosv: TDKR Suit, he took hits from Superman, he wouldn't go down by RR, he even made Superman bleed without kryptonite.
@leonkarlen123: Rocket...would just ionize it. Blast right through. The suit had impressive strength to be able to move superman. But it does not have the durability to take a blast from Rocket's more potent guns.
Not only that. But that whole fight, superman was holding back. He didnt want to kill bruce. Even with the suit he still got the tar beaten out of him by a holding bavk suit man.
But that thing doesnt have the speed to compete with rocket raccoon or the durability to take a blast from him. Even if it can take a few punches, thermal damage is another thing. Rocket's guns one shot alternate universe demon lords and take out enemies that give the likes of thanos and hulk a fight.
@tparks: like if RR would waste his moon busting gun when they see eachever, then Batman drops a nuke on RR since they are out of character.
Ha! Rocket has a phasic cannon that can kill Thanos. He also has a five-barreled cannon that blew a Groot-sized hole in a Badoon ship. You cannot accuse me of fanboyism just because your knowledge of Rocket is preliminary.
Oh and to drop a nuke on a Rocket you would have to get above him. Faster than bats can do that, Rocket has already taken out a huge gun and says "Blam, murdered you!"
@wolverine08: @batmannflash: Best GotG stories are the ones that Dan Abnett and Andy Landing wrote a few years back. GotG have an unofficial start in Annihilation Conquest: Starlord, and an official team start in GotG #1. If you want the best Guardians stories, start reading there. It continues all the way through to the end of the Thanos Imperaitve. DnA's cosmic run during this time with Nova, Inhumans, and Guardians through out Annihilation, Annihilation Conquest, War of Kings, Realm of Kings, and finally Thanos Imperative is the best writing I've seen in comics. The new GotG is entertaining, but it really pales in comparison to what DnA came out with.
dude, this times 100000000x

please don't support that shitty catchphrase, man.
@dathomiesilversurfer: Blam murdered you Blaaaaaaam!
@dathomiesilversurfer: Blam! Murderd you!
@tparks: What types of characters should he be fighting that would make the battle pretty even?
And Batman gets wrecked here, prep time or not.
RR stomps easily prep or no prep . Ppl came into this thread saying Batman while admitting they had no knowledge on RR , lol how can you judge a fight without even basic knowledge on both combatants
