@sophia89: No, in Shao Lin Monks, Liu Kang kicked a guy to the face 6 times before falling to the ground and he has kicked Shang Tsung so hard it sent him flying 15 feet into a stone pillar and breaking it.

The speed at which he does it is very slow and unimpressive, all it really shows is MK has different properties/physics from our universe.

It wasn't likely 8 full gates as i dont think lee would survive that, but yeah he kicked that meteor in half with his gates technique (if i had to guess I'd say it was a 6th gate)

No he wont. Kang wouldn't perceive even part one Lee, let alone the most current version.

There is no way that Kang stands any chance at all. Lee is legitimately a powerhouse, especially in gate. I think he could take this with just weights off though.
