To bad the 6th gate isn't even close to being on the same level as the 8th gate, nor is there evidence that 6th gate lee is on the same level as 6th gate guy.
In all fairness lee is greater than guy due to the difference in age and guy often curses that lee has reached the spring time of youth while h is getting older
Gaara more versatile, has flight, short-long range attacks, has a tailed beast, large aoe attacks, good speed, as well as durability, auto shields, has sensory skills, and more tactical.
Rock lee has better h2h training, close range no long range attacks, better raw physical stats(although gates strain durability), no flight, and not very strategic.
Adult Gaara would roflstomp 6 Gates Rock Lee. No morlas, Gaara would kill Rock Lee before he opens the gates. His sand is fast, strong and durable, he helped holding a comet.
Lee stomps. He ripped Madara in half with less gates and little chakra boost and thats after fighting for several days not to mention that he dodged truth seeking ball with guy in his hand after it was shot.
@sirneko: Wrong lee lost because he ran out of chakra and the strain kicked in if he could continue he would have stomped gaara however now he can use it indefinately without any strain
