@ssj_god: Gaara really didn't get any stronger since the Chunin exams which Lee did. I don't think he could survive the gates considering Lee uses it better and Gaara doesn't have Shukakku so that means his Chakra and healing takes a huge hit

Wait..how can one believe Gaara didn't get more powerful after the Chunin exams? His very next fight with Deidara was well above anything he had previously showcased let alone everything else he did afterwards.

@juiceboks: Not really gaara would have released Shukakku in that same situation during the Chunin exams and he lost chakra. What did he do against Deidara that was so impressive?

Yeah he's getting slaughtered by Gaara. Lee didn't get any particularly better feats after the time skip as opposed to Gaara who became a city level multi-thousand tonner.

His sand blocked Deidara's bomb that would have destroyed the entire Sand village. Lee can't get through that.

Gaara would probably beat him again, lee couldn't put him down even with his full power

Ok before anyone jumps on me,, I am on number 76 of the anime series,, but how does he beat shikamuru?? he is so much smarter than lee and would use tactics much like bats beats his opponents...

@newecho: There's a large raw-speed gap. Plus the gates when unleashed would wreck Shikamaru.

I don't know about that as he is imaginative... Lee wouldn't even try to fight him hard right off the bat in my opinion and if shikamuru knows how fast ie after lee's match with Gaara then I think he would end it quickly as his only option..

well if its a typical naruto battle their will be trees or walls and he is imaginative like in the chunin battle where he floated a dagger to trap inside the shadow... so their should be shadows... Oh I didn't see where the battle takes place at falls of truth...ok I am only on 76 of the series.. I don't know where that is...
