Rhino wills himself out of existence. He is too stupid to use the IG without disastrous consequences that will involve his own fading from reality.

When will anyone ever -get- that Rhino loses? It doesn't matter if he's fighting Cypher with ALS, he loses.

The team can rest and let the CIS begins its magic.

Rhino even obtaining the Infinity Gauntlet in the first place is a laughable idea..

The last time Rhino I saw Rhino in the comics (during Spider-Man's Gaunlet) he wasn't as dumb as he used to be - he was far more focused.
He may not be a Reed Richards, Tony Stark or Peter Parker, but that doesn't automatically mean that he has the IQ of a piece of bread. 
It's disrespectful to the character and to actually good writers who try to change the characters in a good way and to make them more likeable. "Joe Kelly" who was writing "The Amazing Spider-Man #617" managed to do that with Rhino. Some characters do evolve in comic books. It's not always about only white and black - there are other tones and various colors.

i doubt Rhino's capacity to wield the IG. he don't look that bright to me

Rhino gets stomped, IG isn't enough to get rid of the jobber aura.

We can assume that someone dropped the IG by accident and was dumb enough to leave it and that's when Rhino obtained it. And I don't thing Rhino could be any dumber than the Champion of the Universe.
