dose Carnage clearly beat Venom for the majority? i've not seen the comics. I was ready to give it to sandman till i saw the symbiote effects him pretty strongly

Yes he does, he has also been said to be stronger than Venom and Spider-Man combined as he overpowered them both at the same time.
