Lizard murderstomps

Reptile would win. Lizard is a base animal and fight off complete instinct. He is very strong, stronger than reptile, but reptile is much smarter and much more resourceful.

Reptile would go invisible and cover lizard in acid (nothing said Lizard was acid proof). Reptile has the tools to keep lizard at bay, and the speed and experience to bring lizard down.

Lizard stomps

He has a vast physical advantage, Reptile is a skilled fighter but he doesn't have any feats to suggest that he can hold his own against Lizard who is a tough fight for Spider-man.

-Can create concussive energy balls that home in on their target

-He is either tens of thousands or millions of years old

-His acid can easily burn through steel

He's fast enough to avoid hits from Spider-man, he's more durable then normal humans, who have survived Reptile's acid, and he has a healing factor.

LOL. I'm a fan of all reptile characters. Hm, let me see...

Some people brought up lizard being able to control reptiles. I'm surprised no one has brought up Reptile's serpent medallion. It's believed to give Reptile control over his giant snakes. Also, if you look at the other members of Reptile's race, their main power is copying powers, similar to Shang Tsung. Reptile actually was using ice, fire and fire teleportion during his first game. However, he has yet to use it again. Can that be factored into this fight?

Reptile's invisibility probably won't work because I guess lizard would be able to smell him, right?

I can't see Reptile engaging in physical combat and winning either.

If Reptile spam forceballs, acid attacks, keep on the move (he's pretty fast in MK9, judging how far he could leap), I'm thinking Reptile can win.

This is a closer fight than most want to entertain just for the simple fact that Lizard is physically so much stronger than Reptile. But the fact of the matter is that physical strength isn't everything.

Reptile has speed on lizard, skill, and combat experience. He also uses magic to varying degrees, as well as has his natural acid attacks and his sword. There is no question that if Lizard got a hold of Reptile, and Reptile was in a position to not get away or fight back, that Lizard would be able to rip him limb from limb.

But tell me what would stop Reptile from impaling him with a sword or shoving a forceball down the lizards throat?

I wouldn't say stronger. I would say faster.

I dont know if reptile is as physicaly inferior to The lizard as you might think. His tongue is strong eanough to rip off limbs.

I don't understand how people think that Reptile someone who loses to regular humans like Johnny Cage and Stryker is going to beat Lizard who has similar physical stats to Spider-man and has given him trouble in fights. Reptile's fighting skills are irrevelant since he doesn't have any feats supporting them and has lost to fighters who I would consider decent at best, his projectiles and acid aren't that fast so I don't see why Lizard would have any trouble evading them and wrecking Reptile up close since his strength is leagues ahead of his. A couple of strikes from Lizard would be sufficient enough to take down Reptile due to the fact that he has beaten defeated with less force, and his skills aren't at a level where they actually matter in this fight.

I would pick Lizard.

Reptile was my experiment victim when I was trying out new characters in MK. I would stomp him with like the worst characters. I also practiced fatalities on him. That alone is enough incentive to pick Lizard, but Lizard also is a tough match for Spiderman, who can absolutely murder Reptile in a heartbeat.

Did you even read the quote because it clearly says that this legacy has made Johnny Cage a star and that would clearly explain why Johnny Cage has powers in the first place. When did I ever say that I hated video game characters.

I like video games and Mortal Kombat character I have told you multiple times this, so stop derailing and actually make a case if you are. Reptile is no match for Lizard no matter how many times you want to call me a video game hater, he lacks the feats and has a poor fight history to suggest he can.

Losing to characters like Johnny cage is PIS. Reptile pretty much outclasses him in every area. It's like how Big Boss could beatdown Volgin in hand-to-hand combat.
