Who will Win and How ?
Reed can't even come up something that can completely handle his son, even though there is a mutant that can (Leech). He had prep and couldn't even handle Onslaught, the Phoenix is very hard to contain and that is the only thing he could try.
Dark Phoenix will literally destroy the solar system if she gets bored with him, which will be soon because she is all bloodlust, the only thing that stops her from killing everybody and destroying the Milky Way by eating it's sun is that she had a part of her that made her go find another sun, because that part wanted to be stopped from killing people it loved. She does not give a crap about him and there is no PIS, as we have seen the Phoenix In AVX (which IMO was not complete and not even on Jean/Dark Phoenix, because that was all Phoenix just toying with the idea of being a being and not a force) with no particular source of humanity will just plow through whole worlds even though it can teleport and open wormholes, to the Phoenix anything between point A and B is an annoyance, he will be an annoyance and she will end him and his world for kicks.
Reed has literally no chance against Phoenix. He is a great prep master...but he failed at prepping multiple times already. Jean is just to damn powerfull
