• Deadshot has his wrist gauntlets and explosive rounds
• Gambit is Pre-Death and has two decks of cards
• Nightwing has his standard equipment
• Morals on
• Win by K.O. or Death

Round 2 Rules

• Morals off
• Win by Death
• Location - Gotham City at night

Who do you think wins and why?

I think that they can take him down but its going to be very hard. The way I see it, Jason is under Deadshot's level but not sufficiently under him to beat him before Gambit proves to be too much for Nightwing.

Jason isn't on Deadshot's level at all. Jason is more agile and a better hand-to-hand combatant, but Deadshot's sheer accuracy easily overcomes that. Honestly, despite being one of my favorites, Todd is the weak link in this match. Ultimately, Gambit can have a good debate made in his case (reflexes to block bullets, agility, explosive power in such a small environment), but despite that, vs Deadshot is likely one where he could get tagged a few times. Meanwhile, Todd is eliminated, turning this into a 2v1. Sorry Remy, le'force is not with you.

@ReVamp: I've got to agree with what k4tzm4n said. If Jason managed to get in close, he may stand a chance against Deadshot, but if their's any sort of distance between them Deadshot's in the clear. Their not on the same level.

However one think that may help swing the balance, is Gambit's skills with his cards. With his cards Remy's accuracy is above that of any human, so that combined with his incredible agility and reflex's may be enough to allow him to get in close with Deadshot. If that happens Team 1 could possibly steal a victory since i think Jason is good enough to at least hold off Dick for a while until Gambit arrives.

With a bit of luck Team 1 could possibly take this.

@Afro_Warrior, I'm with you that Gambit definitely poses a big threat. Unfortunately, his teammatte is a weak link and I don't see taking down Floyd as any easy feat what-so-ever. Even if they end up in a lengthy range battle, it's likely Grayson will best Todd first, then it becomes a 2v1.

I see it the other way round. I believe that Gambit would most likely best Floyd before Grayson could best Jason.

@Texasbromatch,Todd is pretty agile, but it's nothing Floyd hasn't tagged with ease before. @ ReVamp, in a sense, I agree. The more I think about Gambit vs Deadshot (in this setting), the closer I find it to be. Like I say in my first post, a good case can be made in favor of Remy, but overall I think Floyd has the skill to keep him engaged or defeat him in a close battle.

@Renny, agreed regarding Red Hood. Disagree regarding Deadshot vs Gambit. I think it's a very good fight, but I don't agree at all that "Deadshot ain't beatin Remy."

@k4tzm4n: I'm definately not dismissing, Deadshot he's a formidable opponent. It wouldn't be a walk in the park for Remy by any stretch. However i guess the main difference between us is in rating the Jason vs Dick fight. Now Jason isn't good enough to beat Dick, but despite that i think he's good enough to push him and keep him engaged for a reasonable amount of time. Enough time for Gambit to beat Deadshot? I think so, if Jason is smart and makes good use of his weapons.

I chose the first location because i thought it would make it a closer fight between Gambit and Deadshot, i'm glad to see someone thinks it has an affect.

Woops, didn't see this.

I don't think that Floyd can keep Remy at Bay for too long, since with one well places explosion or even without one, Remy can easily cover the distance between both of them. This means that Remy can take it, because once the distance of long range is closed, Gambit can take it. In a Red Hood vs Nightwing scenario, Nightwing wins, but it will take some time though, and by that time I think in a 1v1 with Gambit he loses too. Unless he tases him... but that's always lame to use in an argument.

I'm using IE, so, sorry that I can't use paragraphs. @Afro, I completely agree Todd has what it takes to give Grayson a good fight. It's just not one I see him winning, unlike the other pair-off. @ReVamp,despite his agility and reflexes, staying out in the open against Floyd isn't a very healthy thing to do. I can't post any scans (seeing as I'm at work), but he has a wealthy resume of impressive accuracy feats that leave me to believe he holds the potential to tag Remy, therefore taking the X-Man in a good fight (not by a large ratio at all, of course).

I'd love to see those scans, but first of all Gambit has some cover to maneuver about, if you pay attention to the picture which is shown in the OP it appears that the "deck" comes all the way around. I'd think that either Gambit could get all the way to floyd in the beginning of the fight before floyd gets the upper-hand by starting to shoot or he could get a shot in while taking cover which would make floyd dizzy which would, yet again allow him to close the distance.

@Renny, like I said, Gambit has impressive agility and reflexes, so a good debate can be made in his case. However, I believe Deadshot has the ability to tag him considering his level of accuracy and not one, but two automatic firearms. I'm sorry you have a personal issue with humans being that accurate in comics, but that's the case with characters like Bullseye and Deadshot. There's far more stuff to question than a human having good aim ;) @ReVamp, certainly, sir. I did pay attention to the location, which is why my first post I say that's a potential advantage to Gambit.

@Renny: Deadshot is DC's greatest marksman and his suit's helmet, has tech improvement's that grant him heightened sense's and while in reality human's being this good would be unbelievable. Within the world of comics the feats people like Deadshot and Hawkeye pull off are par the course. I still think team 1 can win tho.

I honestly think Gambit could take all three..

but team one is mt answer for both rounds, especially round 2.

Gambit. He can level the battle field and use anything as his weapon. He has the skill to dodge and deflect bullets until the team run out of ammo than they are screwed. Gambit wins.
