@frisky4: Why not? He can blast fire the size of a football field in front of him, or he can encase them in stone, pulling a Kratos medusa's gaze type attack. The Element gun is a better weapon then anything Deathstroke or BP have, and it looks like his gun was not completely retconned, and is only limited by his will power and how much energy he wants to will into it.

Jason. He has prep which gives him a huge upper hand against Star Lord and he generally carries more gear. and his skills surpass Star Lords an unbelievable amount.

He also has kryptonian tech that Bizzaro designed for him, before Bizzaro went back to be stupid.
