(Reborn) Racer vs Young Justice (TV Show)

YJ: Superboy - Robin - Miss Martian - Aqualad - Artemis - Kid Flash.

Superman is not on Earth so The Team has been called to go to Metropolis, where an unknown Speedster like villian known as Racer has been causing harm, and trouble in the City. Their mission is to stop Racer and bring him in for questioning.

• TYJ have their standard gear.

• Racer has his Dagger and all of his magic abilities

• Everyone is in character.

Who wins this fight and why?

Racer could possibly win.

Considering he not only has legit super speed, but can also slow down one's sense of perception within a set radius, even Wally might be in trouble.

However even with all that I'm not sure how he'll put Superboy and maybe Aqualad down

@blackwind: True, he did damage Mirajane though. It might take longer with superboy then Aqualad.

Its pretty...unmeasurable as far as I know. I'd say Racer is at least supersonic though. Not comfortable enough to say hypersonic.

@nyas: Awh I see what you mean but his magic doesn't actually make him "Faster" he makes Ichigo Slower thats why I said in a way lol but yea Ichigo is naturally faster.

See, this is the problem with anime. "It looks like" is often the basis for speed, unless there is something else that allows one to quantify.

There's really no proof other than typical afterimages and such.

Is that so lol ? Interesting ability, with that he can pretty much negate or minimize blunt damage by slowing down attacks.

And at Blackwind completely understand what you mean but in this case you have to take this into consideration. Look at the video of him fighting Mirajane.. I think its the first link but skip to 3:20-3:25.. No one in One Piece or Bleach has done something like that. He literally made 6 after images that weren't even moving, and was hitting her over and over on multiple spots without being seen... Thats pretty damn fast haha.

Also think about this it's not like hes moving THEN hitting her at those speeds he's doing BOTH at the same time.

After images honestly don't mean much to me. Its just a speed trope. The same as the Dodging the Fireball BS that happens so much.

I'm willing to give Racer high supersonic, considering he blitzes other superhuman people. But no more than that?

I think young justice can win if he tries to down one of the durable members like aqualad or superboy miss martian can lift him up then mind rip.

@blackwind have you ever read assassination classroom? they have legit calcs within that manga. The main character is stated to go at mach 20+ speeds, and has several feats, that can be calced based on the distance and the stated speed. If we go by the distances he travels we can decide speed. Some manga actually give official calcs for their characters.
